Why do you need custom rom?
Miui is the best.
Im searching miui for non Xiaomi devices.

It's already on Redmi S2 sub-forum and has been 64-bit, ready for Google Camera
I've been confused. so many posting about rom
But it's just device redmi 8 and redmi 8a (Olive/Olivelite) no redmi 8a dual (Olivewood)
The question is where's that rom for redmi 8a dual/olivewood?? Lol

there is . unlock the bootloader, install twrp, and you can install the GSI rom A64 a / b
a lot of them . wagon and small trolley)))

Can we flash the lower version of miui roms by this meathod

Without unlocking bootloader. (Device is at latest update) so not possible to unlock bootloader.
Note ; i want to do this because I can unlock the bootloader easily with that may update

it's possible that you can run same ARM rom for both oivelite(Redmi 8A) and olivewood(Redmi 8A Dual).Except cameras everything same almost.
But Still if a custom specifically made for you better use for that device in our side Redmi 8,8A and Dual/Pro all these devices are actually Arm64 but Xiaomi made some changed to Redmi 8A and Redmi 8A Dual because of small size of rams.
I would suggest anyone want buy new phone go with Redmi 8 or 8A Dual(above 3GB Ram)
is there a a custom rom out there for olivelite (redmi 8A standard not dual camera) that supports VoLTE preferably one based out of MIUI itself but with all the other things de bloated. GSI ROMs which I was using all this time since about two years do not support VoLTE neither do specific Bluetooth devices work .

Here's my question. Since the 9A and 10A both have equivalent hardware and even the same codename "Dandelion", is it possible for recoveries, ROMs and kernels developed for the 9A to work seamlessly on the 10A or are their underlying compatibility issues? Thanks.
They can be flashed and may be run successfully but compatibility issues and other serious bugs will also there which can brick your device so flash the correct file at your own risk
Hi, apparently the Redmi 10A is DANDELION_C3L2 so it's different for the ROMs built for DANDELION. I have a Redmi 10A too and it's getting difficult to find a ROM for it.
I wonder after many exploration that why there is not a single custom kernel available for our Redmi 9A (Dandelion) even there is itʼs latest stock kernelʼs source is also unavailabe
