How to remove the Clockface out of the 5 Pre-installed faces from Fitbit Sense updated with December OS?
For the Sense 2, clock faces can be removed and added through the Fitbit app. Just make sure the one you want to remove is not currently in use.

This is my second Android app. I develop this little app because I prefer 3rd party launcher (e.g. Apex) than existing Sense 4 Rosie. Existing hacked Sense 4 Rosie (full version) currently doesn't support non Sense widget correctly and is less feature-rich than many other launchers.
Even if you install a 3rd party launcher, Rosie still consume your precious memory as a system service. But if you freeze Rosie and thus release it from memory, you'll lose your lockscreen app shortcuts. After painstakingly reviewing the codes in HTC shortcut components, I found that Rosie actually act as a content provider to supply information of its launcher bar shortcuts to lockscreen. So without Rosie, lockscreen has no information to construct its shortcuts. Therefore I wrote this little app to replace the role of Rosie as the content provider. What's more, it allows you to select your own apps with a simple config screen and store the data separately. And it doesn't stay in the memory permanently.
Installation instructions:
Uninstall Rosie (Freezing doesn't work because Android doesn't allow two content providers of same type) ** You're reminded to make a backup first **
Install HTC Lockscreen Shortcut Provider
Run Lockscreen Shortcuts
Select your app for the 4 shortcuts
Hit back to save settings and notify HTC lockscreen

Is there a way to install HTC Sense apps such as its calendar widget, clock widget and other HTC specific apps on Nexus 5? Shouldn't require rooting the phone.

any thing is possible with a nexus device but it needs sense frame work for it to work some one would need to port them i think long hard job imo
You could always also install a theme with icon base close to what you're looking for - in the short term. Clearly it won't be the same quality as say porting from Sense UI as mentioned above but it's an option for now.
If you're just wanting the default utility apps to match Sense, that's what would be fastest/easiest
Hello all,
I wanted to share with you the version of Sense 7 Blinkfeed I created for my custom ROM for the HTC M8.
This is my own work, and has not been taken from any other developer. You can check the .smali if you want.
Noteworthy features:
Working HTC Theme Engine
Working GooglePlusPlugin, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
Sense 7 Weather Animations
Included HTC Calendar for the calendar plugin
HTC Weather Clock Widget
Notes:
Have not tested outside my M8, but there's no reason why this won't work.
You need to be rooted and have busybox for the installer to work.
Don't ask about changing DPI/resolution/grid size. This is what it is, and I'm not going to blow my head up trying to mod it more.
For weather/clock to show in main screen, you need to set the blinkfeed page as home (longpress on home screen, pick Manage Home screen pages)

I like to run stock Google apps, like Google Messages, and Google Calendar, etc.... Can those be dark themed when applying a full system theme ?
Like here are some Substratum themes, that are supposed to work on the S8, like this one;
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brit.swiftdark.substratum&hl=en
Since this Theme is made for Nexus / Pixel phones running stock Android, as well as now made to work for the Galaxy S8 / Note 8 line. Can this theme darken everything installed on the phone ? The Samsung apps, as well as any stock Google apps installed on the S8 ?
I don't own a S8+ yet, but thinking of getting one, and this Swift Dark theme is my fav theme. Just want to make sure it themes both the Samsung apps as well the Google apps.
Can I ask a big favor from someone here please? Someone install this theme and see if it themes Android messages or Google Calendar Etc
Did some YouTube searching last night, and it seems Substratum does allow theming of Google apps you install, like Google Calendar, but will also theme the phones stock Samsung Calendar as well.
Is that true ?
71 views and no replies. I guess no one here themes their phone ?
It will do that. YouTube it
