Guys. Please tell me how to fix? I put a couple of mods that I put before, but now the error comes out
One of your modules is causing problems.

Proud owner of a Samsung Galaxy S 4G. It was loaded with bloat so I rooted it. All was well until yesterday when the following issues occurred......
1- The gallery opens and says "no items" when there are pictures there. I can see the thumbnail image but clicking on that only opens a black screen.
2 - I have no audible notifications. I get an error message "process com.android.mms" has stopped and force close.
3- I cant update any of my programs. The updates/reinstall download hangs and never connects. error message " process com.android.vending" has stopped then force close
I was careful to only delete files associated with the bloatware but may have deleted something very much needed.
Any help is greatly appreciated and apologies if this is posted in an incorrect thread.
stupid question, have you tried a complete reboot? Taking battery out and putting it back in?
aside from that it sounds like if that doesnt fix it then you removed something that the system needed...if noone can come up with anything for you a hard reset may be in order..
and this should be moved to general or q&a forum.
Hope you get it fixed!
Pulled battery, sim and sd. Done reset with T-Mo on line and Samsung tech support. Thanks for the reply. Will move post.
I would do a factory reset man, Is not a big deal. Sounds like you deleted a file that shouldn't have deleted.
Try to only delete apps and not system files.
I don't recommend deleting "com.android" files unless you know what you are doing. If you didn't delete any file that begins with "com.android" or similar then it means you deleted a file that try to invoke those files.
If you want to hard reset your phone go to Setting>Privacy>Factory data reset.
Hope this helps
@Moshe22 -- I've done 3 factory and data resets with the same results. sadly that doesn't or didn't add my missing file/s that I may have deleted on accident.
Thanks for the reply.
If that is the case and you have done the 2 types of reset, the one described in my previous post and the one where you enter into recovery mode then i would advised to flash your phone with one of the ROM's in this forum. That should fix it. Make sure you research alot before you flash your phone.
1. Duplicate post
2. Wrong forum
@Toshonobu --
This was already pointed out so it was moved to the correct forum. Can't help people being polite and answering on this forum as well.
Thanks for not offering any advice and just pointing out my posting error. Cheers
Just do what Moshe22 said.
There is a stock rom and the kb5 enhanced in these forums, so take your pick.

Closed, please post in the correct section. This is not development.
Okay, I have successfully installed the latest build of xdandroid on my touch pro 2 phone.. Everything's working fine..but I am experiencing a problem, which I have never encountered before.. Every-time I try to turn on the wifi feature, I get "Error" and nothing else I have done has actually fixed this annoyance.
I've read in the correct development thread about this, and someone posted a fix.. But due to lack of information, I am not understanding what else I need to do..
"Well for one, you can do the wifi-nvram trick semi-automatically - just put the file on your SD card and symlink (ln -s) it to the correct location in /data."
Basically, I've reached the part of downloading the txt file, replaced the x's with my phone's mac address, then placed the file on the root of my sd card.. The rest, I have no idea..
Can someone please explain(IN FULL DETAIL) the rest of the steps to me?
I'm bumping this thread, and will continue to do so until someone provides me with the correct answer I seek.
Is anyone else experiencing issues with core.jar modifications with lucky patcher? Phone says "please wait..." for a couple of minutes, reboots as if it was successful, but upon reboot the patches display as "Not Patched" still. Wondering if anyone had a fix for this or is this just a known issue.
*I have the latest SU binary installed and the latest busybox as well.
This is on a Verizon S6.
Thanks!
I think that you need to use a deodexed rom, because Lucky Patcher modifies the files. Maybe try to create an odex file in lucky patcher after modifying the .jar
I just tried that and it didn't seem to work. Same thing happens - Phone completes operation, reboots, and nothing has changed.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
I have this issue too, I've tried on both deodexed and odexed roms and I have no idea how to fix it...
Any other thoughts? I really need to sort this out.
I sent an email to Chelpus about this issue, no response after a week...
Last attempt at salvation: does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Having the exact same issue regarding core.jar. Patched a game and it works perfectly, just cannot patch core.jar. Phone restarts, still says "not patched" on the first two options in "Patch to android". Doing my brain in.
same thing here!
is it the problem of KNOX?
Lucky Patcher is warez.
Warez are NOT allowed on Xda. Not even for discussion.
Thread closed.
Thank you.

After installing Movees Rom v6 (clean install) and reinstalling all the SAME apps that I had before I noticed that in my sdcard are autowriting a lot of files with the name XXXXX_beforeNS.pcm and XXXXX_afterNS.pcm (where Xxxxx are a serie of random numbers i.e. 547900132224_beforeNS.pcm ).
There are a lot of this files (with random dimensions) and even if I delete them they keep on appearing.
I can't really understand what is causing this and is driving me crazy.
Could you please help me?
Thank you very much

Not really used that rom before but .pcm files are audio files, it might be files used by default by the rom which is why may reappear, have you queries this issue on the rom thread at all?

Thank you for your reply, yes I've tried to ask also in the rom's thread but no one answered me
I upgraded from previous version of the same rom and reinstalled all the same apps, never had this issue before.
I don't know ... Why the rom should create audio files multiple times in the same day?

Hmm may be changes with the new rom version, only thing I can think of is to do a back up in twrp, do a clean wipe and reinstall rom and see if these files come back, I'd they do then it's defo something with the rom

Ok I'll try this thank you!
Sorry if I write again but I didn't solve my problem...
These damned files keep going on appear!
Is there a way to log everything my phone is writing on the sdcard for trying to know at least which app is causing this issue?
Please this is driving me nut
Thank you very much
