Hi all,
I came to you as a normal smartphone user to seek help, i bought new smartphone Lenovo S820, and i am unable to use IGO application on full screen mode, i am currently using the same application on HTC HD2 and it works perfectly fine, please help me with that, i have the Maps and POIs, but i think the issue with application itself, or maybe i need to do some proper modification to SYS.txt file or maybe to APK file, my new smartphone resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels, 4.7 inches, and i already attached a screenshot for the actual IGO screen size
Hi,
Unfortunately there is no section here for that device, so you'd be best served asking for help here...
> General discussion > Questions and Answers
Or contact the app developer. ?
Good luck!

in Cardboard Vr and all other VR apps, Yaw motion does pitch and Pitch motion does Yaw.
In other words, If I want to look at my left side, the phone will "look" down.
How can this issue be fixed? Kernel level? A running filter servioce?
I don't even know how to search this issue, and I am not a dev.
I just want to use the phone for VR+Head Tracking
Thank you
(the root issue might be the display's natural landscape orientation - the device is an Allview V1 Viper S - a rebranded Walton Primo S2)

Hello dear xda users.
I come to you today because after changing the screen of my xiaomi mi mix 3 phone (under miui 12) I have a problem with the display....
indeed despite having been in the display settings in order to calibrate this one as well as possible, my screen is always extremely bright (even at minimum) and the contrast seems to be very poorly adjusted (dark scenes lose a lot of detail)
What means would I have to allow myself to adjust the brightness and the contrast more finely (the adjustments allowed in the parameters being quite insufficient)?

Hello and good morning, @nevvjeff
I'm sorry, I don't have a solution for your issue as I don't know the device. But just a question: Did you intentionally ask the community here at General Q&A, or do you want me to rather move your thread to Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Questions & Answers?

I posted in general question because the solution can be an application or advanced settings which would not necessarily be linked to the phone itself (because the settings allowed by the latter are very limited). Maybe other users have had the same problem when changing the screen of other phones.
First try with twilight app, a well know app I never really use. The use of the app is not really this one, but with some tweaking and parameter I was able to find a "correction" filter what approche the original screen.
Not enough coutrast but really close.....
I'm on the lookout for your suggestions.
I've discovered that the number of camera app's that provide Clean HDMI out via USBC / a seperate monitor to be nearly non existant.
There's Filmic Pro, but at $150 a year subscription, it'd be cheaper to make my own for the 3 licenses I'd need.
I've made some basic Android apps previously, after studying at Uni, but I've not kept up with the API/scene.
Does anyone have any pointers on what the best angle of attack would be?
E.g. if there's a library recommendation with decent camera GUI functionality already, and what search terms to use to find the Android multi-screen API's for creating a second screen?
My searching resulted in finding multi-window support, and 'projecting/casting' support, which isn't what I was looking for.
