I've looked around the internet and I can't seem to find a digram for it. What is it? Is it a lidar?
Also, does anyone have his ultra wide camera (on video) stuck exposure? Mine is stuck on low ISO until I go to manual camera then it fix itself.

Hey everyone. Been lurking for a while and trying to find an answer, but I guess I'll have to post a topic.
Having had a SE K800i prior to my HTC TP, I knew the cam wouldn't be up to the same standard... but I was hoping it would be better than it is. So I have some questions.
1. Is there any software that can replace the stuff that comes with the phone (I've got the Aust. Three ROM phone). In other words is there at least some software with some different modes - ie. portrait, night shot, etc. At the moment it just seems to be a permanent night shot mode, which gives this laggy, blurry result! I don't want to have to manually set the camera each time I want to take a shot...
2. If there is such a thing, where can I find it!!
I've done the registry hack for the press and hold multi-shot but that's about all I can find floating around atm. Anybody have any ideas?
*bump*
So there's no alternative camera software for the Pro?
What are the default values?
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\ P1 - P10 -> the value "enable" 0 or 1
Hi all,
I am having a LG Quantum , after the mango update i observer the camera quality of the camera has gone worse.?
All pics seems to be very scattered and not clear at all. I tried all setting, but nothing works.
Can you please suggest a alternate APP that can be used? Or what needs to be done.?
I tried resetting the device even
Are you using it on the highest quality and enabling anti-shake? Mine seems fine.
ya, i use with the Super fine and Anti shake ON. Still my pics are of very low quality. ...
Is there any registry tweak for getting the camera back to normal state. ?
Mines ok too...
it isn't a canon or anything, but it does the trick

Hi there, I'd love to buys this phone cos of physical shutter button and battery life...
BUT!!!
The camera seems to lack full manual controls, so I've read that Manual Camera is compatible with the Z5 and brings control over shutter speed, manual focus and so on. But not RAW and I can live with that.
So, have anyone tried this app yet? Or could do me the huge favour to test the demo version to see if it fully works? A video would be great, but I would just accept a yes or no.
That's what i got.

Although it says manual ISO and shutter, I am guessing it has to use the ISO to change the shutter speed?
So, this camera phone............kind of camera phone..........is totally useless to me. Let's get a Sammy S6.
I also want to know which app can allow me to manual focus, adjust shutter speed and change ISO. I have tried Camera FV-5 but also not working.
Hey guys,
Been digging around a bit for a solution but haven't found anything so far...
Anyway, HDR is normally set to "auto" in the camera app. Over the past few days, whenever the HDR is used if auto decides to use it or if it is manually selected) it turns everything an extremely blue hue. I initially thought it was taking a negative image but green sections still appear OK.
Any ideas how to stop it doing that, while still being able to use HDR? The phone isn't rooted, so all I've been able to do without a full reset is clear settings of the camera app.
And it just seems to be Samsung's app - Snapchat and Instagram work fine.
If anyone has any ideas let me know
This is the only weak spot of the otherwise brilliant bit of kit.
I've tried all the presets + don't want to have to set manual settings every time I take a photo.
As a side question, will there be a camera update in the next firmware update?
Also, any recommended third-party apps that might help?
Thanks...
