Question How to avoid the error touch not working when installing twrp in 2201116Si ? - Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G (peux)/POCO X4 Pro 5G (veux)

I tried the twrp when i flashed it
the first command i used are in this order

[Q] Broken boot and recovery image adb and fastboot can not see my device

Hi there,
Long story short, I flashed the latest CWM recovery via the rom manager app, then tried to boot to recovery - but it just went into the bootloader.
Rebooted and tried flashing several recoveries form rom manager to no avail.
did some googling and there was a suggestion to flash the recovery to the boot partition - tried it and now I am stuck. I should have thought before I did this.
No I am stuck with a phone that will not boot into the android OS, I can get into the bootloader and if i select recovery I just get the "google" screen. adb and fastboot do not recoginse the phone when I use the devices command.
do you have any suggestions? I am already in android withdrawal
Hi All,
I am an idiot - I forgot to run fastboot as root (running linux) - I feel like such a noob. At least I had it plugged in
Anyhow Flashed CWM - doing a backup and will be flashing a rom to get back up to speed.
next thing to do is move the fast boot out of ~/bin/ to /usr/bin/ so I can easily run fastboot as root.

Can't flash twrp need help!

Okay so I received my opo today and wanted to unlock and root etc.. I managed to install drivers and download a toolkit which managed to unlock my bootloader but wouldn't flash the recovery so I attempted it manually via fastboot and after flashing it would reboot to a back screen then vibrate and reboot to system.. Been doing that all night? Any ideas? many thanks in advance new to this phone
Exactly what recovery version are you trying to flash? What OS is on the phone? Get rid of the toolkit, they're nothing but trouble.
Twrp 2.8.1. And its running android 4.4.4 cyanogen mod.. I have mate haha. I take it fastboot and adb are installed correctly as it shows my opo after typing fastboot devices and it unlocked my boot loader soo I'm confused

Try flashing the recovery again, followed by this command
Code:
fastboot erase cache
Then:
Code:
fastboot reboot
Then try booting into recovery.
PS. You've unchecked the "update CM recovery" option in Developer Options, right?
same problem for me. tried manually installing any custom recovery, tried two different toolkits. it flashes and reboots, but then you can never enter the recovery app. even attempting to put stock back fails. i attempted the format the cache and that didn't do a thing for me. basically had to enable cm recovery updates and reset to factory in the os. after that i was back to scratch at least.
I was able to figure it out. Appears the version of TWRP is quite particular for some reason. Once I tried the latest build from here dl dot twrp dot me/bacon/ the problem was solved. Thanks for the tip @snickler

Huawei P9 stuck in bootloop TWRP doesnt work properly and EMUI recovery doesnt aswell

Hey guys, I'm new to this board bc I can solve my problems mostly on my own but this time... I have no clue what I'm supposed to do.
I tried using ADB and Fastboot to flash TWRP and everything worked fine. When I rebooted my phone I couldn't get into recovery and I was trying different commands to access recovery but I got "command not allowed".
Then, by accident, I typed:
-fastboot flash boot twrp.img
and since then I'm unable to boot my phone (bootloop), can't reach recovery and I have no idea what to do.
I'm always stuck in the "Your device is booting now..." screen for a few minutes, then my phone just reboots.

Mi Mix 3 stuck in bootloader after twrp update

Hello friends,
i wanted to update my twrp from the very first on to the latest 3.3. I did this in the recovery itself. after i could not boot into twrp anymore. Neither through Updater app, nor through Button Combo.
It all sent me to bootloader. So i tried flashing the twrp img through fastboot.
First: always in cmd fastboot flash recovery twrp.img; but result was that cmd gave no answer at all or failure
Second: i tried fastboot boot twrp.img.; Result was a successful flash, but no boot into recovery afterwards
AND AFTER THAT I cant boot into system anmyore
Edit:
on another pc I got Miflash running and installed latest global rom. Now im stuck till mi recovery. Phone is still unlocked
Edit2:
Got TWRP installed and after newest xiaomi eu rom. Still lost all my data, because everything was still encrypted..

anyhelp ? ive tried to do the fastboot rom flash but my pc doesnt detect my phone
i tried almost every solution i found but nothing works
Your bootloader needs to be unlocked to use a fastboot ROM.
Is it unlocked?

Yes it’s unlocked , any help
Search on the fast boot rom thread for the fast boot rom version you were last on, i have used this many times and it worked.
One thing to note, after it flashed everything , I ended up in crash dump error. I went into stock recovery and wiped/formatted my device and it boot up great.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/msm-tool-guac-for-all.3934691/ - just follow this guide
One thing that worked for me is when your phone is plugged into your pc open a command prompt and type fastboot boot twrp-*.img (make sure it is the .img not .zip), and from there download the twrp installer .zip and flash that, reboot to recovery, and install the OTA for your device (OTAs can be found at this thread).
If it fails to boot and gives you an error, try fastboot getvar all to see which slot is currently active then do fastboot --set-active=*inactive slot letter* then fastboot --set-active=*original active slot letter* then try to boot to the twrp .img from fastboot again. If fastboot doesn't detect your device at all, try seeing if adb devices outputs anything, and if it does type adb reboot bootloader
