Hello friends,
i wanted to update my twrp from the very first on to the latest 3.3. I did this in the recovery itself. after i could not boot into twrp anymore. Neither through Updater app, nor through Button Combo.
It all sent me to bootloader. So i tried flashing the twrp img through fastboot.
First: always in cmd fastboot flash recovery twrp.img; but result was that cmd gave no answer at all or failure
Second: i tried fastboot boot twrp.img.; Result was a successful flash, but no boot into recovery afterwards
AND AFTER THAT I cant boot into system anmyore
Edit:
on another pc I got Miflash running and installed latest global rom. Now im stuck till mi recovery. Phone is still unlocked
Edit2:
Got TWRP installed and after newest xiaomi eu rom. Still lost all my data, because everything was still encrypted..

Hi,
I succesfully instaled TWRP on mix 2s but it won't boot into custom recovery so i used a comand:
fastboot boot twrp.img
everything was great, it boot's into system and works, later I want to instal newest magisk from official site with that twrp. I reboot into custom recovery using ADB by command:
adb reboot bootloader
next I wnt to flash official magisk by the recovery, I flashed it, no errors but now it won't boot into system, stays bootloop in twrp ;/ I try other version of twrp but same results, can't boot into system
Any ideas how to repair this ?
have u unlocked bootloader?
if anything u can flash back stock rom with miflash and keep user data.
yes, I got unlocked bootloader,
u mean mi flash from https://www.xiaomiflash.com/ ? I got errors " missing files "]when I want to run app ;/

ok, SOLVED, I flashed by FASTBOOT boot.img from last available rom in the dark from web, got working system but without root, without magisk and working payments any idea how to do that things right ?
My Redmi S2 somehow got stuck on Mi logo this morning. Everything is still stock and locked. I followed a guide somewhere to unlock bootloader through edl mode, seems like it worked (is says "unlocked" under Mi logo).
With BL unlocked, I tried flashing TWRP using fastboot. But I still can't boot into recovery, only Mi logo. Even stock recovery won't boot.
It seems flashing using Mi Flash Tool doesn't worked anymore , unless with auth. So I found another flash tool. Tried flashing Global/China rom with it(edl mode of course), all is well but "cache","cust","vendor","system","userdata", didn't finished flashing. But the tool says the whole process is completed and proceed to reboot the phone. Which still only showing "Mi Logo".
So I tried using fastboot command to flash those few files. First few time the process completed. But still nothing changes. However, when I try to flash using fastboot now, it just stuck at "erasing". Any file I tried to flash just got stuck here.
"fastboot boot recovery.img" also don't worked. Got the same result using another computer. Now I'm stuck. Would appreciate some advice and guide here.

if your bootloader still unlocked..
try reinstalling twrp via fastboot and use the volume up button and power button to enter recovery
Even in the beginning, before flashing anything, it won't enter stock recovery. I already tried flashing twrp, flash succeed, but it won't enter recovery mode, or twrp. And now, I can't flash anything through fastboot. It just stuck at "erasing..."
Hi XDA community
I'm struggling with my Mi 10 Pro after installing V12.2.1.0.RJAMIXM global verison and can't get the phone to boot up again. As already mentioned in the title, the phone stuck in an bootloop. The Mi logo is shown up for few seconds and the phone is restarting again.
Before, I was on EEA V12.0.5.0.QJAEUXM, unlocked bootloader and rooted with Magisk over fastboot with patched boot.img, so no TWRP at all. Additional task "--disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img" was done, to be able to mount system partition as r/w to remove some unwanted apps, no problems at all.
I've tried to reinstall the EEA version V12.0.5.0.QJAEUXM again, also the global version V12.0.5.0.QJAMIXM, both with Fastboot ROMs manually over flash_all.bat and over the Mi flash tool, but no success, phone is still in bootloop.
The strange thing is, over TWRP I was able to install the latest xiaomi.eu and also the stock EEA V12.0.5.0.QJAEUXM Recovery ROM, where the phone is finally booting up. But even after stock EEA V12.0.5.0.QJAEUXM Recovery ROM over TWRP, if I'm trying to install the Fastboot version over it, the phone ends again in an bootloop.
Does anybody have an idea what I've messed up and how to fix it?
Many thanks and best
Adnan
Hi guys,

I was following the guide posted on these forum but, when i tried to boot from fastboot to twrp it just display endless the twrp logo. I tried to boot with an older twrp or blu spark but nothing, they all make QUALCOMM crashdump, just the latest never go past the twrp logo. Tried to search for someone with a similar problem but i couldnt find anything about my same problem. Thanks in advance.

Which android version are you? 9 10 11?
1. Unlock Bootloader (if is already unlocked, skip this step)
2. download platform tools and unpack
3. copy twrp img and installer zip to platform tools folder location
4. open cmd
5. reboot phone to bootloader
6. write in cmd fastboot erase userdata
7. then write fastboot boot twrp-file-image-name.img
8. twrp is booted, go to advanced and choos option Flash current twrp
9. if is done, then reboot to recovery
10. go to wipe option, choose format data and type yes
11. now you can flash rom using rom flashing instructions
12. remember, after done rom flashing, FLASH twrp installer
@Noob9496 hey dude thanks, i found Someone who had my same problem and I resolved too with fastboot erase userdata so I could had finally boot into twrp cause that was my main problem.
@croperas yeah that was the problem too, cause when I had finally my sweet rom, syberia os (the only android 12 available atm for op6) I tried to go back to the recovery but can't, tried reinstall everything but I couldn't so after some research couldn't find anything, but anyone who had problems with recovery almost always had problems with incompatible versions (like twrp for android 10 but had android 11) so I then realized it isn't still available a custom recovery for android 12 for op6. So after erasing everything its all fine. Thanks a lot guys really appreciated.

I have the same problem after flashing OO 11.1.2.2. I made a mistake flashing the wrong patched image to get rooted again but doing this I lost the access to twrp and now there is no recovery anymore. If I try to boot into any older version of twrp I receive a crashdump, if I try to boot to twrp 3.6.0 it gets stuck to logo. If I use the command "fastboot erase userdata" do I lose something?

Is there another way to restore twrp?
I don't use twrp anymore. Attached is Magisk patched boot for OP6 11.1.2.2 I patched from the latest payload.
fastboot flash boot_a magisk_patched-23000_OP6_11.1.2.2.img
fastboot flash boot_b magisk_patched-23000_OP6_11.1.2.2.img

Install the twrp installer directly from magisk
What I did was trying to install Lineage OS 18.1 (the latest nightly from Jan 11 2022) with Lineage OS Recovery. Following the official wiki I always got stuck in the lineage os boot animation. Never got past that. Tried to fastboot boot twrp.img but TWRP stuck on logo. I think I never tried to boot twrp with the userdata erased. I think I will try it.
Anyone trying to install the twrp, check out SHRP recovery for OP6/t. Boot the img and flash the zip from that thread. tested works with both OP6 and OP6t in OOS 11.1.2.2.
Hi, this is my first post in XDA, so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section.
I recently got a Redmi Note 11 and today I was going to install KomodoOS in it. I did as follows:
First thing I did was to unlock the bootloader, which seems to have worked fine (I can see the open lock icon alongside the Mi logo when it powers on).
I then flashed TWRP (from here https://www.getdroidtips.com/twrp-recovery-redmi-note-11/). When I first tried the command fastboot flash recovery_a twrp.img, I got an error telling me that recovery_a_a doesn't exist, same for recovery_b (which gave me error that partition recovery_b_a didn't exist). I found on Google I could boot into twrp (fastboot boot twrp.img) and then flash twrp itself (Advanced->Flash recovery), which I did and got no error messages. I booted up the system just normal, rebooted into recovery by issuing adb reboot recovery and it got me back into TWRP. So it seems it was installed successfully.
Lastly, while the phone was on TWRP I copied the rom file into the root directory with adb push komodo-version.zip komodo.zip, clicked on Install, selected komodo.zip then confirmed the installation. It took a few minutes (file is 1.3GB) and it completed with a few errors, but at the top there was the message Install successful.
Then I wiped Dalvik and rebooted the system, but now I'm stuck at a bootloop where it goes to the "No command" screen and reboots. I tried holding volume up+power and volume up while reconnecting the USB but to no avail, can't seem to get out of the loop. Also tried spamming adb devices and fastboot devices on pc but can't connect to the phone.
I'm now a bit desperate, since there's (surprisingly?) not much about this phone out there, and I don't know anything that could be done. Is there still hope?

dont trust getdroidtip , search rom on xda instead
In Shaomi "No Command" error means system partition has been destroyed. You most likely need to Reflash MIUI using >Mi Flash Tool<.
So your issue is that you cant boot into TWRP? Also, have you tried Power + Vol(-) to get into Fastboot mode. You can also try PC softwares like >Reiboot-For-Android.exe< to boot to recovery or bootloader.
>If you have TWRP no need to use ADB push, just use USB OTG to flash ZIP<
