Question Google apps working but what about the ability to create a Work Profile? - Huawei P50 Pro

Hi, I read quite some posts about how people are making all google apps work on the P50 pro (eg via GSPACE or Lighthouse or other similar apps) but does anyone know whether its alos possible to work work with a 'Work Profile' (enterprise usage). The company I work for creates a secure Work Profile via the Maas360 and I assume this apps checks whether this is a genuine GMS based phone... so would this work also?

How can I get rid from Xiaomi and Google trackers?

Hello everybody,
I was curious about which server my apps on mi Xiaomi Red Mi 6A get connected since a recent report said Xiaomi was tracking users. I've installed: NetGuard and TrackerControl and there are a few apps which I should not remove but are still connecting to the following directions:
Google:
firebaseremoteconfig.googlrapis.com
infinitedata-pa.googleapis.com
play.googleapis.com
Xiaomi:
api.ad.intl.xiaomi.com
data.mistat.intl.xiaomi.com
globalapi.ad.xiaomi.com
sdkconfig.ad.intl.xiaomi.com
My question: Is there a way to block all that addresses instead blocking the entire app?
I know I can remove bloatware rooting the phone or with the adb console, but these are system apps the phone needs to work properly. I also understand some apps may need to get connected to the Google api servers in order to work, but (I think) Xiaomi doesn't have anything to do here.
Regards!

I'm willing to bet that if you did remove them, it will break things on your device and certain features/functions will no longer work, or worse yet, it may cause your device to not work properly.

I see these tracking sites getting blocked on my Adguard home filter and the phone still works fine.
api.ad.intl.xiaomi.com
tracking.intl.miui.com
app-measurement.com
ssl.google-analytics.com
googleads.g.doubleclick.net
I've also tried Netguard and TrackerControl but I still see these tracking and ad sites leaking through. I've tried different hosts files on Netguard too.
Is there a better solution without rooting/custom rom? It would be exposed once I leave the home network. I've already debloated the MIUI 13.0.13.

Remove COVID-19 contact tracing

If you go into settings and search for 'covid', you'll see settings implying that contact tracing functionality is installed.
How far does it go? It needs bluetooth but will it enable bluetooth regardless if you enable your antenna or not?
Will it show your bluetooth to be on or not?
I don't need answers to these questions. I want to remove this stuff from my phone.
My understanding is that the functionality was installed 'as a part of' and 'in an update of' Google Play-Services.
To remove it, I guess we would need a modified Google Play-Services package
or
remove Google Play-Services altogether.
I don't know to what lengths Google Play-Services is required by OxygenOS or other distros for that matter.
Google Apps won't work anymore without it. That definitely suck for Translate and Maps but I guess there are alternatives for that.
Google bought Waze. I wonder if Waze needs Google Play-Services..
I never was a fan of custom ROMs and rooting. I was perfectly happy with OxygenOS (OnePlus 7).
Now I really don't care, I want this garbage off my phone. Kr,

I am interested in this approach, as Aurora Store isn't able to fully replace google play at this time (no app purchasing)
So I have 2. questions to the community at large:
Would OpenGapps be the way forward? would this prevent googleplayserevices from be update by google thus preventing unauthorised/non-consented changes that facilitate state-level tracking.
And regard9ing the existing google services is there anyway to disable the covid19 toast notification appearing everytime time you enabled/disable bluetooth and or gps. The xposed module 'EnhancedToast' is able to do this, but only works on Andoird 6/7 or below.

Covid-19 contact tracing requires installing an app, if you, yourself, the user, have not installed some form of Covid-19 contact tracing app, then you "should" be in the clear unless you somehow agreed to/allowed/gave permission to something without knowing what you were agreeing to/allowing/giving permission to .

Google admitting they installed this on your phone without your permission
youtube video titled "Exposure Notifications System: Helping Health Authorities fight COVID-19"
check your android - settings/general/google->COVID-19 Exposure Notifications
I'm assuming being rooted is required to do anything towards removing/disabling it?

The only way to get rid of it is to delete Google Play Services. That's how they snuck it in. On Android Pie it's simple. Just debloat via ADB using pm list packages prompt and voila! it's gone. On Android 10 it works the same EXCEPT none of the google apps, firefox, instacart, or anything like that will WORK. So you can de-google all you want - they've baked it into everything. It's something I'm struggling with now since I was forced to upgrade.

N26 Banking App on Google-free Custom ROMs (unlocked, microG, etc.)

I usually prefer the cleanest Custom ROMs with signature spoofing since I use GCam and occasionally Google Photos, so I have microG installed. Usually I do not need to fiddle with microG, UnifiedNlp, etc. because I have no demanding Apps that need that. I do not use/need rooted or Magisk, so I have no experience with them and would like to avoid them.
Now however I would like to open a N26 account which only works trough an App and had hope because 3 months ago MicroG v0.2.16.204713 seems to have worked with N26 app v3.55.
But I'm struggling.
My System: Xiaomi RN7, crDroid 6.3 (Android 10), microG Services Core 0.2.17.204714 (all self check work except Phonesky and Battery optimization, no Google Account connected).
The N26 App v 3.60.2021115000 allows to setup account, verify e-mail, select account type, bind smartphone (with SMS verification).
But then at the end of the identity verification (taking pics of ID-docs and a selfie) the app ask for access to the geolocation and this fails with an error message (translated by me) "To use N26 the Google-Play-Services are necessary, which are not supported by your device"
I tried to verify the installed Location modules (GSM Location Service, Mozilla Location Service) which seem ok (have no experience) and then looked into UnifiedNlp Settings: in the Self Check the registration to the system (system did not bind the UnifiedNlp service) and the Network-based location are not enabled and I was not able to change that. However I'm not sure if the N26 App complains about that or a more basic Google Service feature?
Has someone a similar configuration running? Maybe downgrading the N26 App is of help for a limited time? Or other advises what to try?
I gave up on registering with N26 and are now evaluating two other online banking/card solutions, for which the App runs on crDroid or even a Desktop Browser solution is available.

Service keeps getting disabled

Hi everybody
I'm running a virtual android 7 - app name vphonegaga (faster better then vmos - in my opinion).
The host machine is LG G8S running android 11.
In the virtual machine - a certain service (within google play services) called "LocationAccuracyInjectorService" keeps getting disabled, even when being enabled manualy (using service disabler app).
has anyone encountered similar issue?
Any suggestions?
Thanx
Hey there
Same problem here GPS extremly laggy.
Didn't know about that specific service getting shut down. What I have found out, using the app GPS essentials, is that google location provider doesn't get a GPS fix at all. Further more, even when you get a fix using the GPS directly the satellites positions doesn't make sense they are positioned in a perfectly 12 clock like shape.
However after downloading the app you mentioned service disabler and enabling LocationAccuracyInjectorService and then checking GPS essentials app again google location provider will get a fix but will not update the location after that.
Hope this info will help a little.
Please inform if you found a solution
Forgot to mention that I'm using a huawei device.
Further more I've installed both chinese version (of vphonegaga app) and english version - that was installed via huawei app gallery - which means that the app was tested and found suitable for my device.
I thing it is safe to say that the problem is not with the host device.
Hope that this info will help too.
Hey there
The fake positions of the GPS satellites, that the GPS essentials app is showing, is reaffirming my susspision that something is tampering with the GPS feedback.
The vphonegaga app is aimed mainly towards gamers and there's a good chance that the developers of the app made sure that, this service will keep getting disabled for the sake of GPS spoofing.
There's also a possiblity that google play services themselves are detecting that the GPS sattelites locations are fake, and therefore disabling the LocationAccuracyInjectorService.
Either way, something keeps disabling that service. If we knew what it is, maybe we could find a way to work around it or simply prevent it from disabling the service.
I've been searching for an app or a way that will allow me to monitor and log the activity of that specific service, and see what keeps disabling it, but so far found nothing.
Don't blame this sleeping satellite - blame google!!!
Tasmin archers words, not mine...
Well the google part is mine
Jokes aside... The problem, that both of you are describing exists in VMOS as well.
Now VMOS is a virtual enviorment app that allows you to run different, various ROMs.
Therefore, VMOS itself, will not mess up your GPS, and it's very unlikly that all the VMOS ROMs that come with google services, have been tampered alike.
Therefore, the chances are - that google services themselves are disabling that specific service.
BTW - like I said I personly prefer VMOS, cause it is a much more sophisticated app with various (and editable) ROMS.
But I must say, that after checking vphonegaga, it does seem to run faster and better - for that specific android version 7.1.2

I'm not sure what you're trying to get at as there isn't much information in your question, but I will try to help where I can.
If I assume you simply want to REPLACE the default phone dialer, I have a Samsung where I NEVER use the default Google apps and it works just fine WITHOUT those Google apps (I've disabled most of them).
As for the phone app, it gets confusing what people "mean" as things changed since Android 10 in terms of separation of the parts that people often mix together.
Specifically, in later Androids, AFAIK, there is a "Dialer" and a separate "Contacts" app (yet which often are combined) and there is even the concept that the "SMS/MMS" messaging app also can often dial out and use the contacts - but there is no longer a default "Dialer" as of Android 10 (AFAIK).
Me?
I don't keep a contacts file (for privacy reasons) in the default sqlite location (because Google/Facebook/Microsoft/etc. motherships upload that database, that's why!) so I use only {dialer,contacts,sms/mms} apps which can work both with and WITHOUT a default contacts sqlite database).
Note that Simple Mobile Tools has a lot of related privacy-aware free useful apps which don't necessarily need the default sqlite contacts database, which is a boon to your privacy (if you care about such things).
Here is a screenshot of what I use in my dock for phone apps on my Samsung, none of which are the default apps by Samsung or Google.
Thank you for your reply. I am actually looking for a way to record phone calls on phone. Phone by Google is the app I was referring to, as you may know it has a call recorder and I was wondering if anyone were able to enable it on their A32 5G.
There's a lot of information about call recording for this phone in this Galaxy A32 5G thread over here...
Anyone know a working call recorder app for this phone?
There's also a generic thread about call recording issues after May 11th when Google made their most recent changes over here...
Is there any way to get 3rd-party call recording (ACR) apps working after tomorrow, May 11th, 2022?
If you're rooted, you probably have more options though.
