Hi All
I had long time to use my smartwatch and "managed" to forget my unlock pattern
It's not inside my Find my device Samsung service and the only way is via offline hard reset
I can't turn it off or restart.
As I have the purchase receipt I can do at Samsung repair center but I was wondering if any flash tool or way available to avoid the cost
Thanks
If you have US LTE device... then no idea...
But if you see in Reboot Menu...
Bootloader unlock....
This makes FAC Reset.
Then you can in same menu Bootloader lock...
NOT Flashing!
Only unlock/lock...
Good Luck.
Best Regards

I have a EU non LTE version, my problem is that I cant reboot to Bootloader . still I need to put the correct pattern to turn off or restart
Only to be sure...
You can not hold both keys to enter Reboot Menu?
Btw.
Maybe if not Top Secret... why not tell complete Model Name?
Like SM-R860 or SM-R870 or?
Best Regards
Edit 1.
User with SM-R890 confirmed this as working...
Because I am not set Security crap like this. Not self tested...
Edit 2.
Visual help... look at 40 seconds... he enters Reboot Menu...
And I see at bottom:
Bootloader unlock...
This is possible with your mystiries Watch?
I did it and worked
I feel kinda stupid but on my previous attempts wasn't working
Many thanks for your support
Not forget to lock again...
Bootloader lock
This makes again FACtory Reset...
But then all "normal" settings...
Best Regards

One of my friends phone Sony Xperia C1594 is locked up as she does not remember the unlock pattern.
It was asking for mothers maiden name and she does not remember if she has put it or not. She has tried to login to google account and setting the recovery options but the recovery options are not available in google !
So it looks like option is to hard reset the phone. Searched everywhere could not find the right key combination to do it. Can anyone help me? This is not a rooted phone.
Hey buddy...
You cannot reset Sony like that..
But practically, there is a way to bypass it
Just repair your phone via pc companion
It will install a fresh copy of software in it and naturally, the lock would be gone..
Thank me if I helped you...
if its rooted, srs root program has an option to reset userlock
that's too technical. if you want to reset it, pull out the battery then turn it on. go to setting-memory. you'll see and option to reset the factory setting there. you can also try to change google's security question. you can't find recovery setting on google but you'll surely could change the security question there.

Since the phone is in locked stage(at pattern login page) you cant access the settings. Only the above method works.

how can I flash without entering into download mode

as offered by Vejuo12, as I understand the post instructions:
"1. Go to settings - lock screen and security and set a pin.
2. Then in (Secure Lock Settings) there is an unchecked option that says Auto factory reset, check it... so when you put the pin 15 times wrong the phone automatically does a factory reset.
3. You need to turn off the screen and turn it on again to put the wrong pin 15 times. Each time you input the wrong code time you will have to wait 30 seconds between each attempt, turn the phone off and then back on, for the next attempt. Once you have put the wrong password in 15 times the phone will reboot and factory reset, removing the phone from mdm mode and removing it from the famous manager of the phone, and leaving you to setup the phone normally, but you will need the pin to begin that process.
Well friends I hope you serve them.
(Thanks does not cost anything) thanks see you in the next."
Hope I got that correctly. I've seen this process somewhere in XDA land, as well.
thats correct dude i hope it can help people.

I recently discovered a way to remove the app, I have a Flight M100 that needed payjoy removal.......I put the device into safe mode then went into settings and in the apps section find payjoy app, Dlight app and work setup........Disable all three apps, force stop, disable background data and clear all data
This will temporarily remove payjoy access.....I then booted the device into normal mode and when the payjoy prompt comes up just cancel it out and the device will be usable without payjoy access.........Since ADB is not enable(depending on your device SoC) flash a ton similar to the one but without payjoy and the Dlight OEM......I know it's a little crude but this method worked for me?
I want to rove pay joy of nokia G 10 now
Thank you

How?
Got phone financed thru payjoy, it was cool until i realized how much control the app actually had, as stated in previous threads cannot change any options as a device administrator, and all developer options are grayed out except oem unlock, demo mode, Include bug report. Tried the master reset from recovery, states MDM doesnt allow... Come on already lol, HHHHHEEEEELLLLPPPPPP.
I wouldn't recommend it to be honest. It probably checks in with their servers regularly. They might come looking for it if it stops xD
Ok actually I have found a way to not only disable it but delete it, getting rid of it completely. I did it on my Note 5, message me

Why not just post the method here for everyone to use?
Pretty sure it involves setting screenlock security to reset the device after 10 wrong login attempts, then forcing those wrong attempts one after the other until the device factory resets itself
No actually it doesn't, it's been awhile see if I can refresh memory, after I figured it out, I thought wow how simple
If I remember correctly, in the security section of settings, there is a selection you can mark that forces a factory reset upon restart of device, therefore getting the pay joy as a device administrator. Then use a file manager, and find the com.app folder and delete the rest
This worked for me on a Samsung J7 Pro (G610M). Just enable OEM unlock at developer options!
1- Go to settings - lock screen and security and set a PIN lock, like 1234..
2- You will se a menu (Secure lock Settings), click on it and set "Auto factory reset". This opcion will factory reset your device after 15 wrong attempts to unlock the Screen.
3- Turn OFF the Screen and enter wrong the PIN code 15 times on your device, the the Phone automaticaly will reboot and it will perform a factory reset by it self. When it turns ON the "PLay Joy" will be erased.

"device turned off. contact IT admininstrator"
So, any solution guys ?
Have a note 8 with payjoy, none of these methods posted here has worked.
Any help with this payjoy?

why doesnt a factory firmware flash fix this? or even an unbranded flash like the U1? if the payjoy app has root/SU/admin rights and is able to make the phone a paperweight, then it should be removable with a factory flash with the regular CSC. @detection what am i missing about this? i mean after the FRP lock is bypassed that is

My GW4 recovery is broken after tried to reboot to recovery via ADB.
I tried to sideload pixel watchface apk using "adb reboot recovery sideload" to enter sideload mode as per ADB syntax guide...
It didn't work and just show big red circle with white exclamation mark.
After that, i managed to boot the watch using HW button reset method, but looks like my recovery is damaged and now i cannot update the watch anymore.
I have tinkering with ADB on phone many times before, and from my experience this kind of command is harmless (at worse it just reboot the phone).
Appreciate if anyone have experience on this and advice if there is any workaround....
Should have used simple sideloader app with debugging over wifi. Anyway damage is done but you can flash same firmware which your watch having right now and set it up as new.
If you can hold both Hardware Keys to reach Reboot Mode/Menu...
And you see:
Bootloader unlock
Then do this.
It makes some kind of Factory Reset....
Not forget lock again... in this menu:
Bootloader lock
It not kill Knox... NOT flash something...
Only unlock... lock... to do some Reset... which fixes few things...
Good Luck.
Bootloader menu not inside US LTE devices like SM-R875UUUUUUU like USA...
Best Regards

Thanks for the suggestion....
Goodnight all,
I unlocked the OEM bootloader and Rooted my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 using Magisk. It is a European model.
Now each time I start it I get warning messages that the security has changed as a result.
I reset my phone completely and I still have these warning messages on startup.
Is it possible to remove these warning messages because I will most certainly resell the phone???Is there a solution to lock the OEM bootloader again or is it irreversible???
Thank you in advance for your help and good evening to all.
This is by design. An unlocked bootloader should display the ORANGE state on boot to notify the user. This is normal, and no action is needed.
It is not possible to remove these warning messages as this is a result of the bootloader functioning as intended.
You can re-lock your bootloader if you want but make sure you have performed a clean flash with the factory firmware first. You would then follow the same process you used to unlock the bootloader (device off, hold both Volume buttons, plug in USB cable).
It's just a minor inconvenience though and does not affect device operation.
Good evening,
@V0latyle
if I understood your explanation , I download the latest firmware which is installed on my phone with the help of SamFirm or other software.
Then I use Odin in administrator mode and I select the file in the BL box, the file in the AP box, the file in the CP box and especially in the CSC box I put the CSC file (and not Home_CSC) in order to a hard reset of my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 phone. Once the flash is done, the phone reboots to factory state, I click the build number 7 times then I go to developer options and there I could finally lock my OEM development loader again??? Once I've done all of this
,will the bootloader security warning message go away???
Please tell me if I understood correctly please and above all thank you again for your help.

You don't have to do anything with Developer Options or the OEM Unlock toggle. OEM Unlocking only functions as a "safety" to permit you to unlock your bootloader.
If it is already unlocked, simply follow the instructions you used to unlock it after you enabled OEM Unlocking the first time - with the device powered off, use the key combo to boot into Download Mode, then hold Volume Up until you see the device lock warning. When you relock the bootloader, it will wipe data. Once done, no further steps are needed.
If you want to tinker with your device and enjoy the benefits of root, why not leave it unlocked? Sure the bootloader warnning is slightly annoying but again that's by design.
@V0latyle
ah ok, I understand better, I'm doing the reverse step of what I did the very first time I unlocked the OEM bootloader.
I put my phone in download mode by connecting it to my computer and then I hold the volume up key for a long time to lock the OEM bootloader. And if I understood correctly, once this is done, my phone will be factory reset and no more warning message on startup. That's right ???
In fact, I'm asking you all this because I want to sell my phone to switch to the S23 Ultra.
thank you for your help and your feedback

Yes, if the bootloader is locked and the firmware is original OEM, there should be no warning.
@V0latyle I'm testing all this to the letter tomorrow evening and in the process I'll come back for other people that it could help.
thank you for your help and keep you posted
Hello,
I did what you said and problem solved, the warning messages at startup disappeared.
Thank you again for your help @V0latyle
But u know that KNOX is triggered and u loose some of functions anyway even if you relock bootloader ?
