Have you tried repairing IMEI through UMT Tool with Diagnostic Mode method?
Downgrade to 11
Can IMEI be repaired without UMT dongle?

If you want to change/repair IMEI then your only hope is UMT Pro.

I am on Android 13, and IMEI is fixed, you know. Got service from market. So the solution exists.
Anyway, I just wanna know if I have to buy UMT dongle or is there any other workaround without that stuff (just in case if the issue pops up again)?

Brother IMEI repair is only possible on android 11 but after repair you can easily update to android 12/13 without any problem but IMEI repair is only possible with UMT Pro.

Actually, I was on Android 11. Then update to Android 13 through OTA updates. Then I found out that both my IMEIs were gone. So I had to take phone to the shop and got my IMEIs fixed on Android 13. I was told if I updated phone (which is what I did from OOS 11 to OOS 13) I would lose IMEIs again.
So as you say that after IMEI repair, I can update/downgrade/whatever my phone with official firmware (say unbrick through MSM), my IMEIs will still be there? I just wanna be sure if you have tried updating phone yourself after IMEI fix?
I need imei repair 9 pro android 13.
Any one help me
Here is the link for IMEI repair, but I haven't tried this. Apparantly, you need to be on OOS11 because diag port can easily be opened on that version.

I'm guessing you never made an EFS backup? This is something you absolutely should have done.

I'm going to go ahead and close this one down. As much as I'd like to see this issue resolved, any talk of IMEI restoration is prohibited on this site.

The easiest way is Xiaomi customer service.
First check if your Xiaomi customer service has warrant coverage after bootloader unlock. (Some country does, some does not.) [ie. warrant the physical device; rom state or bootloader doesn't matter]

you wont be able to restore qcn even if you have unmodified qcn. newest 2021 xiaomi devices got RSA on both sim1 and sim2 modems. qfil will write it but after reboot it will be back to stock so you need your EFS.

qcn contains efs. efs contains carrier stuff + imei stuff.
basically you cant overwrite a qcn but dont know about efs.

might work but you need to find someone who is willingly wanting to give you his/her efs...

Yeah did told them to check, but didn't say it will be free of charge. But Xiaomi definitely will repair it or change one for you.
Even if you find someone on the net, many will charge you some dollars. And you don't even know if they actually can fix it or just a scam.
Unless there's some way to bypass, or an exploit to make EDL work, for general user, Xiaomi customer service is better and safer.

May I know if it's TA-1243 or TA-1251?
You can consider to unlock the bootloader and try to fix QCN.

do you think if you downgrade android 11 to android 10 will the imei come back?
unfortunately it wont allow me to flash any older firmware only the latest one
You should try with this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...oader-usb-vcom-and-cycling-rebooting.4322581/ the general procedure might suit for all MediaTek variants, I didn't check completely the thread, you should interchange some files for/from your model.
Probably, it requires at least the OEM unlock toggle to be switched.
Be warned that I didn´t try it on a Samsung Mediatek device because I had the Exynos/Qualcomm A10/20/30/50/70 variants, not the MediaTek, but with most of MediaTek Realme, Xiaomi, it works.
You can add also this tool to the job https://github.com/bkerler/mtkclient.
Definitely some firmwares erase the baseband becoming to null, in the theory that IMEI is not really lost, then returning to a working baseband they also have to come back, but if they have gone then returning the baseband only, it only will return the ability to make calls.

Yes Imei/Baseband works again downgrading to android 10 o the BUF9 FW
I just tried to repair the imei of my device and now I lost my network. These are the steps I followed:
Step 1: Downgrade to android 10.
Step 2: Unlock bootloader.
Step 3: Take backup of .XQCN file
Step 4: Convert into Global rom android 10
Step 5: Open diag port with *#801# and Repair IMEI.
(I used Miricle box 2.58 cracked version)
Step 6: reboot and update device.
After IMEI repair I lost my network. then I tried to restore the xqcn file It successfully restored but still there is no netwok.
I tried to update device and again used msm tool to emergency download but still there is no network.
Need help please.
