Please check software update notes before posting.
One UI 5 has not yet been released for that model, so is there no "slow update" happening. You are already updated to the newest current version. When a new update is released, I'm sure you'll get it

When I said "please check notes", checking does not mean posting here in the thread every single day. It means use Google or other means to find the information on the internet yourself.
The update will likely not be released until next year

Probably the same thing Verizon users saw. I forget all the specifics. Better fingerprint scanning. Louder speaker. Other bug fixes.

That seems right. I wonder if it could be IP triggered. Have you tried using a proxy server for LG Bridge to detect your phone with, i.e. Hong Kong IP?

Isn't that SEA stands for South East Asia, that means Singapore version?
I got 5.1.1 same as you. I asked from LG Singapore and they inform me that the update will roll out in this month.
No OTA update in Hong Kong but there are an MM update on the Bridge.
OTA update for Singapore version is available now.

If you don't root the phone, OTA works.
New update: 15.1630.1811.32
At the moment it is OTA only.
ROG LED now can be used for notifications. I don't know of the other fixes.
Just downloaded it and extracted the boot.img, this evening I will flash it and root
My current version is Version WW_ZS600KL_15.1630.1811.32_0 (19/12/2018) this took a few manual scans to automatically download this. While browsing the site today i see a newer update version WW.15.1618.1810.77 (20/12/2018) however the version number is lower than the one i already have . I guess im currently up to date based on version but based on date am i out? also does anyone know how long it takes for the phone to receive the updates without manually scanning?

Hi,

[emoji1] in Europe we are still on december 2017 ...
HTC doesn't deserve our support anymore...
At least in Europe.
I got that update here in the states but I'm wondering when will give us 9.0 pie
This is the reason why I convert my European model to TW device...
Cheers
I'm still on December 2017(EU). My last phone from HTC, that's for sure. Next year i will buy an One Plus.

Short story before I get to my question.
I have a U11+ bought direct off HTC in Hong Kong.
I have had no updates since Dec 2017.
Wrote to HTC in Europe about the lack of updates and got this amazing reply:
------------------
Thank you for contacting HTC.
In regards to your enquiry about updates, kindly note that after running the serial number provided, your device ship country is Hong Kong.
Which means, it is not from EU region, and devices from the Asian region most of them cannot be updated and have no option to update.
------------------
Soo I checked through the XDA forums seems the TW version of the phone is the only one that gets regular updates.
Then I unlocked bootloader and downloaded HTC_U11+_TW_1.24.709.93_Images_OTA from nene bear.
I didn't install TWRP as I was going to return to stock and just be happy with the updates hopefully coming from the TW version.
all went smooth thanks to all the excellent posts and help on the forum.
378 fastboot flash -S 1G system system.img
379 fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
380 fastboot flash boot boot.img
oh and I relocked my bootloader
Yesterday I got a message about new update (I'm currently on Vodafone in Ireland)
I downloaded but it wouldn't install see the 2 screenshots.
ahh can't post the screenshots because i'm a new guy
its says:
cant update cause i may be running a modified version of system software....
I wonder is that because i turned of the boot lock once?
Or is this because of my CID is still HKG ??
I'm going to fire up fasboot and try and side load the update I downloaded from nene bear as I don't have root access and i couldn't find the update on the phone
I saw an interesting thread from handsome_hell about changing cid
Would the TW version or the WWE version the best for updates.
RGDS W
I have both TW and EU version of HTC-U11+ (both rooted with Magisk 18.0) and will apply OTA on TW only when RUU will be available (as I had - probably self-caused - problems during previous update of TW version).
I am not too advanced but AFAIK the phone needs to be "s-off" to change the CID to apply other region version updates smoothly, which is not available yet for HTC-U11+ (maybe I am wrong).
I hope for the EU version updates a "shortcut" directly to Android 9.0 (which was announced for HTC-U11+), otherwise the neglect of EU updates is really weired.
Today I got an answer from HTC support why European version U11+ did not get security updates ...
Sorry for for the answer but we can't say why 11+ is not getting security updates.
That's all [emoji1787]
Okay. I switched to a Pixel 3, great device and just the right size compared to the U11+ for me.
Bye HTC. Great devices wasted by a poor support...

Ah Thanks for the reply
I did have further conversations with HTC customer service regarding updates they said this:
------------------------------------
note that your phone is due to receive Android Pie very soon and this will be communicated via system notification message on your phone once the update is available for your phone, we are sorry for any inconvenience.
------------------------------------
It still doesn't explain the lack of regular security updates on the U11+ but my friends U11 has had 2 or 3 updates bought the same time as my U11+
I tried to get into recovery last night but got a red triangle Ill try it again later, got into the bootloader and download mode fine.
Think Ill end up going down the TWRP and Magisk route and change the CID just a bit more reading up to do.
Rgds
u11 + model is selling in taiwan because the small updates take that region. I think he's looking at the sales figures. But if it's just Taiwan for the update, it won't be able to sell anywhere except Taiwan. International brand, will be the domestic brand.

Finally, Global ROM Update ENCommon_V2.15

Hello fellas,
This morning I received a pop up notification on my phone screen stated there is a new update. Then I clicked on both Update now and Install now.
After the phone reboot, I go to Settings > System > System Update to check what the patch notes are but it is empty.
Afterwards, I tried to play PUBG mobile and launch the app, then there was ask for permission to access storage photos/videos etc and this tells me that this is for Redmagic time update.
And voila... Redmagic time is working perfectly now. For you who have issue with Redmagic time before like I do, go ahead and update your phone.
The update name is NX629J_ENCommon_V2.15
Anyone else got the update? Did you see the changelog?
I got the update yesterday. New security patch, some camera improvements, some new wallpapers.. Nothing to impressive..
Honestly, I was hoping for the dark mode...
I have global Rom, but I didn't receive any notification about software update. So can you tell us if YouTube L & R buttons was fixed in this update?! Tks

Hi.. yes L and R (youtube) is fixed on this update. I think this update fix redmagic time and youtube L R.
My country is Indonesia at SEA region and the only drawback in this update is that, it removes the setting "Deep process clean"
It is nowhere to be found in the phone, even with search, i typed deep and it listed Deep process clean under System, when I clicked it, it is not there, i guess it is hidden or remove. Tho I really love this setting because it does not hold any RAM or process running in the background/task manager.
I have raised this to support and waiting for their confirmation.
I have the 1.18 pop up. Still downloading for now.
Still no update... Such a bummer
Same no update yet. "global"
Can someone upload the package?
Maybe try to update your phone to below version first then check for the update again after reboot and see if the V2.15 pop up.
http://rom.download.nubia.com/Europe/NX629J/NX629J_Z69_EN_WPJ0O_V210.zip
Above link was given to me by redmagic support when I report that redmagic time is not working. Then after successfully install the WPJ0O update the redmagic time also not working and I report back to them, they said just be patient, the devs team are releasing a newer version to fix the issue and they did (ENCommon_V2.15)
Note: after you apply the WPJ0O update, your build number shown on the phone will always remain ENCommon_V2.10.
Only when you update to ENCommon_V2.15 it will show ENCommon_V2.15
Hope this helps
Attaching the changelog.
hello, I have the Europe version on my device. I have not received an update for a long time and wonder if this may be due to root? Does anyone have the Europe version. At the moment it should be at 3.0V.
My phone does not show that changelog haha
Anyway, im happy with this update, they fix redmagic time and youtube L R.
I got this update after buying this phone.. and after install the update I still have v2.10 not 2.15 I don't know why and YouTube L R button bug is still there.

Try email the support and explain your problem and ask for the package file.
You have to be very very patient when explaining to them cause some of them are so dumb.

Galaxy Note 8 Update Question

Hey everyone, I'm relatively new here, so I'm hoping this is the proper section to post my question regarding my Note 8's inability to find an update. It's model number is SM-N950U, and baseband version N950USQS3BRB2 (AT&T). It has the stock 7.1.1 firmware, and it absolutely will not find any firmware updates when I search. It's driving me crazy because my other note 8 is updated to 9, however its screen is cracked to ****. And my old Note 8 is in perfect condition. Any info or tips would be great help. And again, I've tried looking through the forums at firmware links and lists, but I can't find any update files for my specific baseband version. I don't know if that matters or not. Anyways, thanks for anyone's time that helps.

You cannot update from the N950USQS3BRB2 firmware version that's why it's not finding anything. You need to manually update it yourself to the next update version which I think is N950USQU3CRC2 using Odin and then it'll be able to do it on it's own.
Hey Mike whats up bro. My Note 9 does this same thing. Seems that a lot of people with At&t have this issue. My 8 is still on BRK2 rooted, and will stay that way..lol.

Hey what's up brother!! I noticed that too and I think they're messing something up and then when they push the update out it's supposed to see a certain version to update from and if they mess up the version it's supposed to see by typos or something then it just doesn't update and then keeps saying you're on the latest firmware version even though you know you're not lol.. Usually when I run into that problem if you update it yourself to the next version it seems to clear the problem. Personally I don't like updating either because we all know that they're just putting a bunch of junk on the phone in order to make it get slower and slower to make us get annoyed with it and buy a new phone..

Thank you so much for your response. I manually updated it to CRC2 yesterday using ADB. Now it's at version 8. The whole reason I was wanting to update it was because of the PIP feature in 8. Now i just have to get it updated to 9. But it's still not finding an update when I search. So I may have to manually do it again.

You are right Mike, sometimes you have to get device on right path before it will process an OTA. Now me I am a little OCD and I would rather use Odin or firmware Science method to update. It's just something about OTA vs connection when updating that gets my OCD...lol
