So is Good Lock never getting fixed? Specifically theme park?
The white circles for notification icons are occurring because the inside color is not tied to the text in the notification panel. So if you have white text, it will be a white circle.
You can get around this by making that text gray. But making it gray isn't fantastic because it's hard to see. They broke something in how the colors are tied together, and it seems like there needs to be another option added for the border around the logo inside the notification icon.
Explaining this is even difficult because it's a very detailed thing. Has anyone found a solution for this?
If you want to test this, an easy way is to make the notification panel text green. The text or icon on the left is white and is seemingly unchangeable.

That looks horrible. Just use Quickstar instead.
It's has almost complete color control for notifications.

how do i get rid of the areas circled in red? or make them black? I think i read somewhere on this forum that it has something to do with basehue but you cant fully make them black or something with it, but ive seen other themes where these havee just been really thin black lines...
is there a registry entry for them?
this is my last step in creating the ultimate all black theme!!! (thats not mine in the screenshot above however, just similar with the white bars im referring to...
shade
See this link for info on BaseHue:

I don't think it will solve your problem though, since the highlight is a WM5 feature.
The theme you saw with a thin black line, was it WM2003 by chance?
VJBaseHue won't have any influence over that. However, read ZeBoxx's posts on BaseHue and the wiki - I think he may have found the keys to address this bit, but I'm not sure. I haven't heard from him in a while

A few days back I started noticing this mysterious holo blue circular ring moving near my unlock circle on my Android 4.2 lockscreen.

I did not give much attention to that but now I notice a small development in that. At the center of the circle a dot has also appeared.
Any Idea about why this is happening??

I have it too on my THL W200 device (4.2.1). Dunno what is it, I'm going to start removing apps one-by-one and see the result.
Edit: Found the solution.
Turn off the Data meter on lock screen switch in the settings. (Wifi/Data usage part)
I have this icon on the extreme left of my notification bar but don't know what it is. If I pull down the notification bar it disappears so I cannot click on it to see what it is.
It is the one that looks like a cross on a white background, just left of the "31" date. Does anyone recognize it?

It means you have more notifications than can fit on the status bar.
Thank you. That makes sense.
Can I disable it?
When I go landscape, it disappears but no other icons appear. So it's not useful. Besides, I frequently pull down my notification bar anyway.

Clear your notifications more often?
I do but it remains there. ?
Edit
Got rid of some automatic notifications some apps were putting there and now the + icon is gone!
Hello to everyone!
While I like some things about the Nougat update, I really dislike the interface update that they did on the Gallery app. Why on Earth would you make the background of a photo WHITE ?(that is, the part of the screen not actually occupied by the photo) Sure, I get it, maybe it is to be able to see the icons which are black, but in the Marshmallow gallery app, you had white icons with their background being transparent. And the picture background was black.
Now, in Nougat, it's sh!t, honestly. Distracting. Sure, you can tap once and the white background disappears, being replaced with the black one, but having to do an extra tap just to see my photo they way I want it to is really dumb.
I asked Samsung if they could change it, still awaiting the answer.
However, just in case they don't give me the option to change the background, I asked here.
Thank you in advance.
P.s. using a black theme does not work. It's the same.

With Adnroid 7 the color of the screen during calls, changes according to the photo of the contact. I do not like this option because the screen is almost always a horrible salmon that really makes me crap. Is there a way or trick to turn off this useless option? Thanks to those who will help me!
no one can help me?
I think that themes changes the color, so you could have a look into that
I've just tried to change theme, but the orrible color don't change
But is possible that i must have this "cocktail sauce" color when i call someone or when someone call me?

Remove the contact photo. See if that makes a difference, with the new theme.
Yes, when I call a number that has no photos, the background is dark (like the color of the theme). I would like to find a way to make the screen dark even when I call (or I'm called) a contact that has the photo in the phonebook.
