how do i get rid of the areas circled in red? or make them black? I think i read somewhere on this forum that it has something to do with basehue but you cant fully make them black or something with it, but ive seen other themes where these havee just been really thin black lines...
is there a registry entry for them?
this is my last step in creating the ultimate all black theme!!! (thats not mine in the screenshot above however, just similar with the white bars im referring to...
shade

See this link for info on BaseHue:

I don't think it will solve your problem though, since the highlight is a WM5 feature.
The theme you saw with a thin black line, was it WM2003 by chance?

VJBaseHue won't have any influence over that. However, read ZeBoxx's posts on BaseHue and the wiki - I think he may have found the keys to address this bit, but I'm not sure. I haven't heard from him in a while

I find anything else just reduces fidelity and readability.

just about any abstract things(like the default WM5 wallpaper). I find that picture of cars, girls, etc is tacky because of the line between the plugins.
yes mate i agree,
i too prefer plain one col backgrounds,im redoing my pda total wipe and reinstall and i dont know which ill go with
prob green or orange ,its been blue for ages
Black coz its matches with JAMin
purple coz its my faforite color (just on Start menu)

How to make "All Messages" Touchflo3d Style?

I'm using my all messages folder a lot, so I want it to look like the rest of TF3D, instead of the windows mobile interface. The thing is, I don't know anything about making themes/styles on my D2. I can use the registry but I'm not really good at this stuff so, here is what I would like to have:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
(no I'm not being spammed, I duplicated these in photoshop )
and I forgot a scroll bar =)
It doesn't have to look like this in the messages tab in TF3D, but I would like to have the list of all messages to look like this.
If anybody knows how to make the All Messages screen like this, help me out
I'm interested in this, too.
Good work on this mockup, it'd be cool to see it in action... if only I could program.
I wonder what changing the default background colour of Windows to black would do to making it look a little more like it belonged.. (of course I have no idea if that can even be done).. Nice mock up, though.

Maximize TF3D

Would anyone be able to tell me how to get the TouchFLO full screen program that this guy has running?
If you're confused, I'm talking about the icon positioned at bottom centre, just above the two menu keys. From my understanding, it hides the top and bottom bars, basically giving TouchFLO much more space to work with.
You'll have to excuse me. I've used every possible keyword imaginable to find any relevance to the program/cab on here, and after hours of searching I give up! I remember Pocketnow.com had a news article on it, but their search engine for news seems rather limited.
If someone could help me out, that'd be greatly appreciated!
Hi there,
The app you're looking for can be found here:

Battery and clock example

Ive come across how to activate the clock in the taskbar, but as you all know that hides/covers the battery icon. This is a major flaw in design.
Ive seen many screenshots with where people have the time then custom icons including the battery, however this seems like it would cover up the X on some applications.
Examples here.

This is how i want my taskbar to look [photoshopped]. With the original icons, with the battery and clock and room to close programmes

Im sure this tweak must be achievable.
Thanks in advance
You just need to install BattClock then configure away
Pretty sure ive tried that, and batti. Never managed to get it like i want
if i'm not wrong the so called task manager has been done away with in the new version..
i couldn't get it up too. the blank space on top left is now new taskbar or wadeva that is...?

[REQ} Text colour change?

Hello...
I've been following a lot of these threads for a while and having decided on my ROM of choice (toms) and doing as much as i understand i've hit my wall when it comes to knowledge of the system! The background i use is quite light and makes it difficult to read the text under certain tabs like the Text tab and the twitter tab. Is there a way i can simply change the colour of the text?
Is there a way i can do it? i'm a quick learner
Thank you.
Here's my background... it's a picture from a walk i did a few months back and it looks great as a background with a few transparencies added withing the tabs.

I sort of found something here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2749452
seemed a little complex, but i'll give it a go over my lunchtime..
Love having conversations with myself
I can't actually find the files on my HD2... can anyone help?
Looking through lots of threads it seems quite a difficult task!! is that why there are no other replies to this thread?
