My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930A. I recently rooted my phone and it was causing alot of problems such as slowdown and bugs. So, I tried to put stock firmware on it and I was unsuccessful. Now my phone is stuck in a boot loop. I need to know how to properly install stock firmware into my phone because I have followed guides on XDA'S website and Odin keeps failing. I really need help with this because I don't even have a working cell phone.

Download samsung kies 3 and put the phone in download mode and try to recover the phone by flashing the default firmware that came with the phone.
Kies 3 does not support my device (SM-G930A)

Thank you for the response but when I connected my phone to Kies 3, I got a message that said "we do not support this device". I have also tried Samsung Smart Switch and that did not work either. Is there another method for restoring my phone and getting it out of the bootloop?

Yes i know you get that msg in kies but you still will be able to flash the orig fw back to the device with kies. Just put the phone in download mode before hooking up the phone to the pc then start kies
And go to the top bar and select the 4th tab where you will see recovery. Then it will ask you for the model number and some other things and after that it will flash the fw for you. I have done this a couple of times now so i can tell you 100% that it will work

I'm actually trying to do exactly this now, and have tried re-entering the correct model number and serial number into Kies numerous times.
No matter what, Kies continues to state "Please check the model name and enter it" even though all of the info entered is correct.
Any suggestions? I'm doing this with my G930A on Nougat (model "SM-G930A")
I wanted to see if computer recognize / install drivers when I connect my s7 EDGE to the computer in download mode.
since then, I cannot boot my S7..
every time I charge my phone, it automatically goes to download mode and writes "computer is not connected"
I cant boot it normally. all I can do is boot to download mode. When I select "reboot" before the download mode, it turns off and never reboot.
i didnt try to flash anything as counter says 0*0 and device status is official.. I dont even have ODIN installed ony my pc ..
I cant think of anything how I ruined android OS.. a lot of important photos are there
S7 EDGE UNLOCKED, android 8 official, not rooted
used to root and flash roms on my s1 and s4 years ago, so have some knowledge,
thanks
please help
Flash something with odin.
Flash the same stock ROM with Odin.
I have a rooted Sm-g610f and I flashed twrp using the app, and I'm kinda stuck now. when I start up the device the logo screen appears and it just stays like that until the battery runs out, I cant access recovery, I cant flash a new rom because usb debugging is off and which means the device wont get detected on odin i can ONLY access download mode. I would really appreciate any kind of help

Just because USB debugging is off doesn't mean Odin won't detect your phone. One of the biggest reasons Odin may not detect your phone is that you don't have Samsung's developer drivers, so make sure you look and install those.

Try a different port or cable too. Also, make sure you opened odin as admin and you opened it before plugging in the device. Worth a try...
Hey guys,
I am not a pro at android devices and debugging but have spent several days on tutorials on how to fix it.
The problem was as follows: My battery wasn't charging fast anymore with any adapter and cable. (i tried 3 stock poco f2 pro chargers and cables rated at 33W. It charges only full in 8 hours.
So i opened the phone and changed the USB charging port from the inside to see if this was the problem. Now it luckily charges but after installing software updates on the phone (i was on 12.0.3 and updated to 12.5.1. It worked for 10 minutes until I restarted my device. It is now stuck on MIUI logo and stays there forever.
aNow i accidentally turned off USB debugging in developer options to see if that would fix the slow charging problem. But because of this and my device is bricked and now my device is not reqognized by my laptop anymore so I can flash firmware to stock.
Does anyone know how i can actually boot it with stock firmware to unbrick my poco f2 pro?
Take it to authorized service center and let them try to fix it.

I can't, I get an error message in chinese
Update:
Hey guys,
I got a Poco f2 pro which I got an unlocked bootloader. I was running a rooted Poco phone and I don't know why but I accidentally turned off USB debugging in developers settings. When there was an operating system update it got stuck in a boot loop. The problem is I can only do a few things with this phone now which is: Turn on: It starts and gets stuck at the MIUI logo.
Turn on +volume up: Recovery mode = I can connect to WiFi and press download but it just keeps searching for updates and doesn't do anything.
Turn on + volume down: Fastboot = it shows fast boot is started but when plugged in my pc it doesn't find my phone.
Things I tried:
Install USB drivers, Xiaomi drivers - phone not showing
Installed Mi Pc Suite - Phone not showing
Installed MiFlash - Phone not showing
Tried different Pc's and laptops from Windows 10 and 11 - did not work
Tried different USB ports, 2.0,3.0 and type C - did not work
Does someone know how I can fix my phone and tell me what to do?
anyone has a clue what to do? I was able to boot to MIUI Rescue and connect to WiFi but it searches for update and then it says it couldn't find updates
MIUI-V12.5.1.0.RJKMIXM (N/A) -> ???

I did but after that nothing changes.
I think it crashed when going from android 10 to android 11 and maybe it is some sort of encrypted.

Surely due to the root or coincidence the usb port is dead.
Try the EDL mode and download the qualcomm drivers (search on google) then connect the phone and see if it is detected.

Do not short the test point for long time it may damage the resistor and your phone will auto MTK port.

Damn, I'm still stuck there with my a22 5G as well, you can probably get it out of that with unlock tool and a firmware dump from another users bin..... I nearly got mine out but if you see for first time DM, make sure you're ready to odin or else it might go back to brom

I had to unbrick the system using an BOX + ISP connection, with the latest security updates it no longer enters brom mode, only preloader, and when you force brom mode on the a22 5g it dies
