Anyone got a RUU for 2.33.401.19 or 3.xx (uhl) - HTC U11 Questions & Answers

Hey there..
want to go back to stock to update to Android 9.
Or does anyone even have a RUU for Pie?
Wasn't here for a long time and all usual links are down, since AFH went offline?
Thanks, Jan

Hey together.

I Would like to deodex my JB Stock Rom to coustomize my self with Mods and other but for almost everything i used a deodexed Rom. I tried xUltima and the Android Kitchen, v0.223 by dsixda and both doesn't work.
On the Android Kitchen, v0.223 by dsixda i can't find my TWRP Backup and i don't know how i convert it or somthig else.
On xUltima i become instantly an Error. When i delete the odex file which caused the error i become instantly a another error.
Here is a Picture from xUltima:

i have no idee how i fix this.
no one an idea?
Make a imitation ROM:
Create a dump.
Download Rhythm Manager's version of file manager.
Now go to / (self explanatory) and copy system.
It'll take a while, but copy it to sdcard.
Now copy the file onto computer. Find a ROM and copy the META_INF.
Make a empty boot.img.
Put the boot.img, system, and meta_inf into a zip folder. THis would be your ROM.
You can take it from there.

1) Yes. Any ROM is okay. Just get it from an actual ROM.
2) Step 1: unhide extension by going explorer.exe --> organize --> Folder and search options --> view --> uncheck Hide extension ... --> click apply to folders--> Apply. Now simply make a .txt file on desktop and rename the extension as img, and the file name make it boot.

Can anyone please help me with this error..I tried the TAB to search for the recovery.img..but it did not work
if I hit Tab after 'fastboot flash' then I am not getting first 'recovery' option.

Navigate to your platform tools folder in command prompt. The path you have specified in the screenshot is not where your recovery.img is located... so keep typing ''cd.. enter'' until you're back at C:\ in the window, then type cd android-sdk-windows and hit enter, then cd platform-tools, and it should be able to find the recovery image.

was having the same problem and this actually fixed it, thank you sir
All, please have a read of my "adb and fastboot. What is it?" thread. It can be reached via the sticky roll up link in my signature.
You shouldn't need to put recover where you put it. My thread explains how to use it properly.

[GUIDE] Real Guide! Recover Yur LG Intuition From Bricked Stage

As the tittle says, now i'm gonna show you the real way to recover your lg intuition from bricked and at the same time, upgrade it to android 4.1 jelly bean, if you haven't. There are various tutorials about this, in various forums, but any of them work or do something relevant.
Just follow my instructions step by step and you'll get your intuition unbricked and/or upgraded. Well, LET'S START! :fingers-crossed:
1-Download the firmware (.cab file) from here:http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FW706685432109876543213/VS95022B_10.S22B_10.P58019.R5.cab
2-Download this both tools: https://my.pcloud.com/publink/show?code=XZje57ZOU5Fm68zqW7g8i2nEdqOFjtMcuuk
3-Unzip the archive with the tools inside in a folder, move the firmware already downloaded in this same folder.
4-Download lg drivers from here: http://faq.scs.lge.com/common/FileDownload.do?fileId=BD-1374141705928
5- In the folder created, open the folder named "FlashTool.1.0.54", execute the "Windows Enable.exe" program with administrato rigths.Then execute "UpTestEX.exe"
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
In the 1 you're gonna search for the folder you previously created, just select the folder, don' open it. In the 2 select the .cab firmware downloaded for converting in a .kdz file. Select it and press" Encrypt cab -> kdz" then i will start to convert it and the .kdz file will appear in the folder you selected in work directory.
6-When that is done, get your intuition on "Download Mode",hold Volume up and down at the same time, the connect it to your pc and will promt "Download mode". Go to the folder and open "LG Flash Tool 2014" in this folder execute "LGFlashTool2014.exe" in PhoneMode choose CS_EMERGENCY.Then, look for the .kdz file created and select it.
7-Click on"CSE flash" when a new window is promtep just click on "START" windows will ask you to confirm, just hit Yes. In the next window just change the language for english.
8- The program will start analyzing your phone, extracting the firmware and finally installing it.
If you have followed all the steps, you will safe your phone! Enjoy it :highfive:

[THEME][TWRP] Change TWRP Splash Screen

Weak Intro :
Well, I find few people who're curious to change their TWRP splash screen and even the themes. Don't know how to do this weird stuff? You're at the right place! . I know few of them might be bored with staring at the same splash screen for a long time. How about trying something crazy? :silly:.
Prerequisites:
1. Knowledge of how to repack/unpack img. If you don't know how to do this, Just follow this thread by @osm0sis: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2073775
2. A TWRP recovery image for our device which can be found here: https://eu.dl.twrp.me/x3/
3. A splash screen image(format in PNG) of your choice.
4. Notepad++ for XML editing. You can get it from here: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v7.5.2.html
5. PATIENCE! :silly:
Procedure:
Ok now that you're happy with the prerequisites, Let's start being crazy!
I assume that you know how to use the Android Image Kitchen by @osm0sis and thereby I'll proceed without any AIK instructions.
Let's start!
1. Extract the TWRP image you wish using the AIK. To do this, Just drag the TWRP image file onto unpackimg.bat file
2. Now you'll find 2 folders.
-> ramdisk
-> spllit_img
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
3. Leave the "split_img" folder aside.(We don't need anything to do with it) and open the "ramdisk" folder.
4. Open the "twres" folder and then right-click on the "splash.xml" file. Then choose Edit with Notepadd++ in the context menu.
5. Scroll down till you find the page XML tag.
6. Now, delete the lines as shown below.
7. Add this line shown below
8. All done! Now you need to get your PNG image of resolution 1920 x 1080(height x width) of your choice.
9. Go to this directory: ramdisk/twres/images. You'll find a file "splashlogo.png". Just Overwrite it with your PNG image and you're done!
10. Finally, you need to pack the modified stuff to make TWRP image. To do this, head onto the AIK folder and then click repackimg.bat. You'll find a a new file in the same folder called "image-new.img". This file is your modified TWRP img. Just flash it and you're good to go.
