While OxygenUpdater is pretty useful, compensating for OnePlus' support pages forgetting to share OTA downloads, it only shows the most recent version. Which can be a pain, so perhaps we should keep track. Maybe if you want to downgrade (when possible) or just see what's inside.

For the Oneplus Nord2T this stock rom A.15 can they be used to downgrade from Android 13 to Android 12 through local updates?

If you have an MSI windpad 7 or 10 and want to update its firmware, here is the link to the latest : http://event.msi.com/nb/enjoy/enjoy7.html#/?div=Firmware
Fair warning : This 2.3 gingerbread update doesn't improve performance much, it looks better than android 2.2 but people report different bugs that I didn't experience myself.
A bug I am experiencing with it is that its bluetooth and wifi are going crazy, not detecting devices like they used to do on android 2.2. be warned if you use this tablet with your car's bluetooth, it probably will stop connecting to it after the 2.3 update.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE : if anyone just bought this tablet and still has android 2.2 on it, please be cool and catch an image of it to share with us who updated to the buggy firmware. MSI customer support sucks, they don't keep old firmware on their website!
Here's how you can make an "image" of your firmware : http://www.androidpolice.com/2010/0...nandroid-backup-and-clockworkmod-rom-manager/
You should end up with a .img file that you can reinstall later if you find out the update is buggy for you.
Don't hesitate to post or PM me if you need help.
Hi adilator, just found this post via a google search. I have a windpad 7 that I havent updated yet. Am happy to do an image of it when I get home later.
Was hoping to find a way to get Skype video working on the damn thing but guessing this firmware update doesnt help so wont put myself through it
Hi leemako.
The normal skype you download from android play (market) doesn't work on this tablet, you need to use the one bundled with its original firmware. if you updated skype and it's not working, you can easily revert the update and go back to the original installation by going to the applications management page and click on "unistall updates".
is your tab on android 2.2 or did it come with 2.3 preinstalled?
I'd really appreciate your help if you can share the img with us.
Btw, if you must root the tab, don't do the root img available on a thread in this forum, it will install a new version of the firmware with the bug I'm trying to avoid. You should test the various froyo root tools available such as Z4root or gingerbreak, look here : http://www.itsmyiphoneworld.com/android-device/howtorootandroidversionfroyo222
ah sorry, I just checked and it was bundled with 2.3.1.
Hey it's ok leemako.
For anyone landing on this page after a search, if you're looking for the best custom rom for this tablet, here's where you should look : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1668786
It's a great rom based on the latest official rom but with an ICS skin that makes it look a million times better.
Hi all,
I decided to have a go a making my own custom firmware for the Ployer Momo8 IPS with the following goals.
Objectives
Pre-rooted.
Removal of pre-installed Chinese apps.
Removal of bloatware.
Extend /data partition.
Make it a "Google Experience" device.
ClockWorkMod Recovery (for donors)
I think I've been fairly successful. My firmware includes Android 4.1.2 features and even some Android 4.2 features. Until someone succesfully ports Cyanogenmod to the Ployer Momo8 IPS or Ployer release a 4.2.x update then my firmware is the most complete "Google Experience" you'll find for the device.
Downloads
You can find downloads, full change log, FAQs, instructions and more from my blog.

Donations
Please consider donating to this project. It is nice to have the effort I've put into this custom firmware recognised. Donors will be given access to a version of the custom firmware with ClockWorkMod Recovery integrated. I don't ask for much, it is at your discretion, but just think how happy I'll look when I am sipping the beer you bought me :victory:
Why is the ClockWorkMod Recovery version only available to donors? Several reasons:
The CWM version is not a "must have", it's a "nice to have".
When STOCK and CWM ROMs were available, most people downloaded both. This uses lots of bandwidth that I pay for.
People kind enough to donate get something in return and I get a beer.
I hope that sounds fair to you? Please consider donating, even if you don't want the CMW version.
New builds available. Some have reported that WiFi works best with firmware based on 20121120, so I'm now making 4 versions of my custom firmware

Hi, I have one question; do you think this firmware could work with the Momo7 tablet? t seems to have the same specs, just a smaller size screen (the version I'm gonna get even has 1280x800 IPs screen).
Thanks!

Hello I need stock rom or driver for Momo8w in windows 10
Hi to all!!
Which is the Pie's ROM more complete & stable for OPO actually?
All the pie ROM ( POSP, Pixys , ArrowOS and Tuga) available are stable now. And a thread is already available on your same topic. Kindly search thru forum before starting a unwanted thread. Pleade delete this thread.
The question was for a Version 9 In this moment, the most of customer version are still beta (with version 9) or didn't start / released a bind public. From my personal view : try one of the first version which is available or still stay on Oreo and read the comments, where you can get an overview if the version ok for you or not.
Which an older phone, I was living with a GPS Bug several years... It's your choise
i would say use Arrow for this reasons:
1- it's the stablest
2- doesn't have Video playback issue as some users have got on other roms
3- gives a good SOT
Hi, which rom are you using for oneplus 9?
Unfortunately, the rom support for this model is very bad and many developers have stopped developing roms for op9. I'm looking for a rom that can get continuous updates. Best regards
JaguarOs for Android 11
NamelessOs for Android !2
These two roms are getting regular monthly updates and both are great.

For Op 9 and 9 pro finish
"Evolution X" I love the customization it has. Which is why I haven't updated to 12 yet lol. I will sometime. Love the rom though
Personally, DerpOS, which has both OP9/Pro support. Make sure to check out the pro XDA forums, as you'll be able to find many new ROMs outside of just on here.
I used to run EvoX, which is a very good A12 ROM, but when compared to others, isn't updated as much (I believe it's still on the Feb patch). I haven't heard much of when it's planned to be updated, as it's still migrating between maintainers at the moment.
A12.1 builds for the OP9 are limited unfortunately, as LineageOS 19, at the time of writing, is the only "official" one I know of, which you're able to do if you're happy flashing GAPPs.
However, many ROMs have A12.1 working in testing, though not officially released yet. Hopefully you'll see them pop up within the next few weeks, once they've passed their maintainer's QA checks, though I can't speak on their behalf (they'll be ready when they're ready). I'd personally be comfortable in flashing either one of these, as their developers seem very dedicated to supporting the device into the future:
StagOS, DerpOS, DotOS
StagOS in particular is also the only ROM I know of that are working on OOSCam. It seems their progress is coming along well, but you won't find it in any of their public builds as of yet.
As mentioned by a couple of people earlier, though I'd love to recommend Nameless as it's a fantastic ROM, it isn't being maintained at the moment. CrDroid for the Op9, though on paper is maintained, hasn't been updated for a while and the developer has been somewhat MIA. Love to see either come back though.
Personally, I'm still undecided. I saw that someone had problems with the Evox and with the derp very draining of battery. I would be tempted for StageOs ... but I'm still on oxygen 11.2.10.10 even if my device offered me the update to Android 12 C47. However if I do it I cannot flash rom!

Personally haven't had any issues with derp, though I did notice evox had a few weird bugs with material you in the latest update. To each their own, I suppose! OOS11 is still quite good, although I really do like the theaming in a12.
I have flashed all the roms possible. Stag and Evo are pretty gnarly, but I keep it stock OS rooted on 10AA because for some Reason, PuBG is not as smooth on any roms as it is on Oxygen, plus its like the Read-Ahead is way better. Everything Renders in much faster. Like its almost already all there. The Roms arent like that.
I kinda wish someone would make a Gaming Specific rom.
Bone-Dry nothing to it.

Thanks for this. I am so fed up with the bugs on OOS 12 and the app performance throttling. I have been holding off on unlocking the bootloader but I just can't deal with the issues anymore. Would be nice to see what this device can actually do... Sometimes it feels slower than my LG G8 with an 855...
I am waiting for official Pixel Experience so still OOS 12 for me
has anybody here tried lineageos on oneplus 9?

I realize! I'm relatively sure it's not being maintained though since then, and support for it has been dropped.
Hey~
So its been a while since I've updated my device to android 12, build number IN2013_11_C.16
and its just buggy in basically any aspect, making the phone very annoying to use
When I was on android 11, the phone was perfect and everything worked fine.
What would be the best approach? I use banking apps and Gpay daily in my everyday life so its very important
Rolling back to android 11 - if that's possible (?) would be my best option original rom will keep the google pay and banking apps working right>?
If rolling back to previous firmware is not possible then
Using a custom rom with Gapps could work? - I think I've seen somewhere lineage os with Gmicro apps, will it work with Gpay since its not an "original" rom ?
Really appreciate the help guys, its been a few years since I've played with phones firmware and as I can see stuff' changed.
If you've never flashed a custom ROM, I would recommend you just roll back to Android 11.
Luckily, Oneplus offers an official package that let's you downgrade back to Android 11 from C.16.
THIS is the official Oneplus thread for the C.16 update. On that page, there is a .zip package you can install to rollback to Android 11. The page also includes pretty detailed instructions, pretty easy to follow.
On that forum post, look for the section "Rollback guide—via Local OTA update"
If you want to try a custom ROM though, I recommend HavocOS for Android 11, or Nameless AOSP for Android 12. Those are the best ROMs in their respective category in my opinion. AICP also looks promising it needs a few fixes but I believe in our savior semdoc
