I'm looking to get my mom on a framily group on sprint but when I went to look at the phones available I didn't see the moto g. This would be the perfect phone for her because she wont be doing much on it. Anyone know if there is a moto g compatible with the sprint network. I guess my next question would be is there anything like the moto g(droid mini, razr i) that would work on the sprint network.

They have a boost Mobile version of the moto g.
Sent from my XT1053 using Tapatalk
Are you sayingI can use the boost mobile moto g on sprint?
Ok so I bought this phone online without knowing much about frequencies and such.
Now I have it and I'm unable to use anything other than edge service! I freaking love this phone but the poor connection leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
The phone supports bands 1, 3, 5, 7, & 17. And LTE 1800mah & 2600mah frequencies.
Is it possible to get my phone to accept USA frequencies?
Thanks for all input in advance!
It would be of help if you could post the device details so we could point you in the right direction.
Thanks
Thanks a lot for your response.
I'm not sure what specific info you need and this site won't let me post a link of the specs.
I have an LG g pro 2, the D838 Hong Kong model.
Thanks for any assistance you can provide..

Please post the question in G Pro 2 General so that the right experts may be of help answering your question.
Hi, if you are ordering a Moto G 2015 US edition (XT1540 / Single-SIM), then I could really use your help!
I'd like to upgrade to the 2015 edition (I have the 2014 edition Boost Mobile version), but I use the Freedompop network. All I need to know is if their system will accept the phone, it will take you < 5 minutes:
- Visit this URL: https://www.freedompop.com/byod
- Enter zip code: 85041
- Enter an email address (AFAIK they don't email you)
- Enter address: 1499 W Roeser Rd
- Enter MEID of your 2015 Moto G (it won't do anything, it'll just check eligibility)
It will say whether it is eligable for FreedomPop service or not -- that's all I need to know so I can purchase one! I would appreciate it more than you can imagine!
(hope this is the right area, I'm kinda new to these forums -- but a long-time lurker)
Um, the CDMA version of the Moto G isn't out yet. The GSM one is, but even if someone put in their IMEI, it's an unlocked phone that doesn't support CDMA, and doesn't have the bands Sprint uses for LTE, so it might not be the best test case. You'll need to wait for a Sprint or Virgin Mobile Moto G to come out.
Hello I'm new to this forum. Nice to meet everyone. Please forgive me if I posted this in the wrong section, if I did please feel free to move this thread. My question is, I currently have a Samsung galaxy S6 on Sprint. I'm looking for another phone, my galaxy s6 battery is not lasting very long any more, 4 hours if I'm lucky, I'm not a heavy user at all, and the touch screen is starting to go as well. I have been looking at the moto G5 plus, and it looks like a good phone. Is it as good or better than the S6 that I currently own? Is there any other phones that you guys would recommend other than the G5 that I can buy outright at a similar price on the sprint network? I don't want to do a contract anymore. What attracted me to the G5 is that I can buy it outright for only $229.00 and that I can use it on the sprint network, most unlocked phones only work on GSM networks. I heard that the Moto G5 plus doesn't have a compass, does the GPS on it still work Ok? Thanks for all the help.
