Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Thanks a ton @LuK1337.
Installed from latest android 12 stock ROM just now. Few observations after playing around for 20 mins.
No issues with installations [ROM+Gapps] using instructions.
Haptic feedback is similar to stock ROM and much improved from LOS 18.1 since I last used it.
Sound via headphone/speakers is similar to stock ROM.
GPay is working fine for UPI with just stock + Gapps [India].
Overall super smooth/fluid animations and everything is working as expected. Love it.
Bugs I observed:
- Fingerprint icon is overlapping with charging message [PFA Screenshot]
- Ok Google hotword detection is not working. Will appreciate any recommendations on making it work. [UPDATE: It works after installing 10/25 nightly, Thanks @LuK1337]

Installed it on US version and noticed the baseband changed, having connection problems with Visible ( prepaid from Verizon ), signal drops after minutes, will come back after cycling airplane mode and then just disconnects again , not sure is safe to revert back to older baseband, any tips appreciated.
PS I upgraded from Lineage 18.1

Hi, so happy that LOS 19 is out for hotdogb! Before installing, I'd like to know if the prox sensor is working? (eg if you cover the prox sensor on lockscreen and double tap to wake, does it wake the phone up?) and if the game Summoners War works? last time I tried on a A12 based rom the game would crash immediately after launch.
Thx in advance

Mind The Gapps mentioned in the official guide.

Sound from earpiece is very high during calls. It's like loudspeaker is enabled by default. Minimum value is way to high.

Yes ... Baseband version Q_V1_P14 and Vendor security patch = 5 August 2022 ... (see screenshot)
Note: Official builds ship firmware files, so no need to update firmware. You can install LOS 19.1 from OOS 10 and 11 blobs via LOS 18.1 recovery.
Clean flash and dirty flash from Official LOS 18.1 or unofficial LOS 19.1 work fine ... see official instructions.

good to hear no need to do firmware update before 18 => 19 upgrade... saves a ton of fiddling, thank you dev!

How come 18.1 to 19.1 migration patches vendor security but a 18.1 OTA updates don't do that? Is it a new Mainline module that fixes it?

Hello. I installed the rom yesterday and evrything seems to work fine. Except few things. Below I'm listing the bugs that I've found/encountered yet.
1) When on call, it seems like it by default on loudspeaker. The call volume is too high and there's no way to reduce/turn it off.
2) There's no dynamic theming in Wallpapers and styles section. Please find attachment.
3) Battery sometimes drops very rapidly. Like it shows that it's on 23% for like 10 minutes and drops straight to 20%. Maybe visual bug.
Rest all seems great. The idle time is outstanding. Overall a good ROM. Thank you.

Hi!
My question is whether a change from OOS11 (11.0.9.1 EU) to LOS19.1 is possible directly?
According to the wiki, the Android 12 firmware is required before installation. In return, you can switch from LOS 18.1 to 19.1 without firmware....
The "big" problem for me is that only Indian version of OOS12 is available so far and I don't want to have a brick due to a bug.

You can flash 19.1 from 18.1 recovery while it's still available for download.
Also, you might want to wait like for https://mirrorbits.lineageos.org/fu...eage-19.1-20221024-nightly-hotdogb-signed.zip to become available.

Maybe these issues are solved by latest build. Give it a try.

Has it been confirmed that 7T/Pro/5G won't get OOS13(A13)? There is always rumors but was it just a mistake by TMO? Obviously the phone isn't a S10lite or Pixel 4 but stuff can theoretically ported.

Yeah Yeah just reading the bug list (already ) confirm SMS, recording issues.
device is not heating, not laggy, MTP works (go in developer options)
Any estimate as to whether or not this could work with the Canadian variant (SM-G903W)? Or a guess as to what contribution might be required to create something that would work?

I'm testing the compatibility of the ROM on a G903W Canadian variant and can confirm it's operational with just the same bugs everyone else has. I'd really like to get to the bottom of the mic issue though, mine just outright doesn't pick up anything, even if I attach a Bluetooth headset with a mic on it.
Edit: Performed another test as I had some issues earlier, and now it's just audio that sounds like it's being recorded in slow motion. It's understandable but it isn't quite right. I would take a look at the sources but after downloading a number of them I only have 6GB free on my partition. I may have to move it all over to an external hard drive first before I can do anything.

Mic bug still present
Thank you Stricted for the hard work and for continuing and releasing YOUR 16.0 version.
Unfortunately in you latest built I still experience the microphone issue.
Any audio recorded (i.e. speech messages) with the phone is too silent.
I suspect the bug is related to the fact that there is a second noise cancellation mic built into the device.

Man. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this. Everything works just fine for me. The system feels a bit sluggish but I knew it was going to be like that. Also, The first 10 minutes while I was charging my phone, the battery was going down. And then out of nowhere it started going up again. weird. But anyways, it works great! Keep up the work! And is there a kernel that overclock the system to have less lags? Thanks again Stricted.

Yeah sorry i was on rush earlier so i had to reflash the first one cause i needed it immediatly working; i'm going to re-downlaod it and re-try and let u know.
But one question: is there a way to enable the WPS connect (for the WiFi) or it has been removed on los16?
EDIT: Well, funny thing, when i had that error i was making a clean flash, now with a dirty flash, no error...
I think it was error 7 btw.
Just to be sure.
This is fine to just update (flash) from Lineage 15.1?
Data/settings remain?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Frequently Asked Questions!
Q : I get error 255/7 while flashing from recovery
A : Flash using correct TWRP.
Q : How do i flash rom?
A : No rocket science Just wipe /system /cache /dalvik's cache & internal storage from twrp, Then simply flash the rom package and reboot.
Q : Can I dirty flash the next build?
A : If you are upgrading from previous builds of this rom to the current builds then O'course you can dirty flash by just flashing the new rom package , gapps package and wiping both the cache partition however i advice you to refrain from doing dirty flash. Follow the instructions if posted after a build drop and flash the package accordingly if instructions explicitly mention about clean flashing.
Q : Where do i get compatible gapps/ I can't signIn into google play?
A : Get your Gapps from OpenGapps.org, only use Pico or nano! If you want my support.
Q : Is root access included in this Rom?
A : No it is not. Some testers have had success with Magisk though.
Q : Can I flash ABC mod? Does the ROM support it?
A : Yeah sure, but I will not support you. And no, the ROM probably does not support it.
Q : Android go, when?
A : Decided to disable it for now for good
Q : Livedisplay broken/not working ?
A : Don't touch that section, The support was removed from the kernel because Lenovo's mdss don't go quite well with live display implementation and won't be supported.
Q : Is VOLTE supported ?
A : No.
Q : Is the ROM suited for daily usage ?
A : Yes, Looks like all basic daily usage stuff is functional.
Q : WHEN UPDATE?? GIB UPDATE PL0X.
A : I only post updates when there's a decent list of changes. I'm a college student and there's only so much I can do. Please do not spam my PM regarding this.
I will not respond to any messages demanding ETAs
Thanks Dev, aka har**** bhai
No bugs found at far. Good rom as pie. A6000 rocks. ❤
Thanks to the dev for bringing Android 10 to A6000
Clean installed the ROM a couple of hours ago. Everything seems to be stable and pretty. Love it. The phone was not laggy or slow even after the very first boot. Excited about exploring all the features of Android 10.
Two issues that I have noticed so far -
1. The phone is not latching on to the network. Tried both SIMs and both Automatic and Manual setting. It latches on - full five bars, then drops it, then latches on, then drops it. So on.
2. The 'Live Display' setting crashes the settings app - the settings within the 'Live Display' section cannot be changed apparently?
Thanks for any help in resolving the above two.
Cheers,
S

Network depends upon area to area, If problem is genuine please drop "adb shell logcat -b radio logcat.txt" here so that I can look to it.
LiveDisplay was removed from A6000's builds since Los-15.1's last build because lenovo's changes to mdss don't seem to go well with the kernel implementation of livedisplay, So the feature had to be dropped and since there's no live display driver it crashes when one tries to poke it from settings, Thanks for reminding me, I'll add it to faq
I'm facing audio cracking problem.. What should I do now? I tried previous ROMs also like lineageos 16 , aospex all besed on android 9

Audio works perfectly fine in los-17.1 & the prior mentioned pie roms, If you are facing such issues it could prolly be cause of damaged hardware or because you might have overlooked flashing hex firmware patch and if it persists even after that then it can't be helped. Make sure you are flashing it on mentioned variants only and follow the instructions carefully, Drop the logs so that we can see them if its genuine and is not caused by any third party apps or by flashing mods.

Thanks for the prompt response. I have verified with multiple SIMs and multiple locations - it will not latch on to any network.
I ran the command you mentioned but the command appears to run indefinitely and no .txt file is output. I exported the CMD log anyway and is attached. I only let the command run for a few seconds as the log file was quickly exceeding the forum limit of 512KB for txt files.
Help, please?
Thanks, dev.

Somehow the telephony is failing and it looses connection again and again that don't happen for others could you again flash hex firmware patch and pull the logs again if the issue persists

Once again, many thanks for the prompt response. Is this still the most recent version of the Hex Firmware Patch? https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120747542
And should I perform a clean install once again? Or simply flash the zip with what I have now?
Thanks,
S
So far so good everything works fine, performance is smooth and battery backup is also good.
Thanks for this awesome rom Dev.....
Great work bro... Downloaded wil install it tomorrow..
Launched on Kitkat, runs on Android 10? secondary smartphone
Thanks so much
I thought we would stop at Android Pie
but here we are going to a new era with our superhero @dev_harsh1998
I started researching on a6000's Custom Roms for my friend's phone and I'm amazed by this community. I wish i had an a6000.?
Can we use banking apps without any security issue?
Amazing work dev_harsh1998, thank you so much!
I am running on your 16.0 version now and I am going to upgrade to this 17.1.
Going to download nano gapps and want to ask you which version to install 32 or 64 bit?
Hex and twrp not required to upgrade right? (already did that for 16.0)
:good: thanks brother for this rom ?

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg.

Thank you Stricted for this ROM.
Quick question, does your adaptation properly adjust the status bar for the camera cutout on the left?
The last Lineage GSI I installed ended up hiding the clock behind the camera.
unfortunately the cutout overlay is not working currently
Thank you for letting me know! I'll try your ROM next weekend.
How about the action cam, did you get to implement the wide angle access or just the regular camera?

I installed the ROM yesterday with stock Gapps. Everything seems to work well out of the box, only one freeze crash shortly after setup.
Minor issues I discovered:
The overlay and status bar position does not seem to work on the lock screen, time and icons are too far up and partially covered by the corners (maybe implementing the Phh corner radius could help?)
landscape mode produced black bars and sometimes freezes
ROM did not boot with root implemented from the other thread of this forum for the One Action
Google Search app would randomly crash
Overall, a great first ROM for this phone!

Did you face any random bootloops while flashing custom rom and any low signal coverage problem and Which camera does it has ?
How is the battery backup and performance ?
Do you recommend to install it ?
Please post some screenshots (+_+)

Unfortunately, I did not get to take any screenshots and I had to revert back to stock today because I needed the action camera. But overall it looked like complete stock Lineage OS, so you can find screenshots on their website. No modifications that I found.
As for your questions:
no random boot loops, just one restart after the initial install.
no signal coverage loss noticed, same as with stock.
battery was good, definitely not worse than the stock ROM.
I can recommend it :good:

No problem. I reinstalled it again, this time totally de-googled, and it works well. The only little issue that is a bit of a bummer besides a few UI elements not being perfect is the lack of access to the action cam. But I hope more people will install this so we can propel the development, I think this device deserves more developer attention than it is currently getting.
Good day, I'm looking for a sincere recommendation...
Should I get this Moto One Action or for $100usd more I can get a Redmi Note 9s ...
I really want to like the action form factor, is it smooth? Can it run emulators flawlessly? Apps? Gps? ...
Hope you can help me decide guys

Then hotspot bug (hotspot is not working)
When you connect your Bluetooth headphone you can't hear sound on discord.. it automatically converts sound/audio to speaker
Equalizer not working
Battery backup is good
Play protect Certificate is not certified even gsf I'd is sending to framework authority link
That's all but it's the first rom soo it's fine
Good work stricted

If you want Dust inside camera lens and better Custom Roms support and you are an extreme gammer and need a faster charging battery then Redmi note 9s
If you need clean and bloat free ui and timely updates and a better display with 435ppi LCD and a dolby speaker with best sound in call and while playing music then Moto One Action is better
But i think waiting for Redmi Note 10 is the best option
From past 3 months i am using Moto One Action and till now i didn't find any issues , whatever be the category weather camera, speaker, display, battery, charging speed,UI.
Camera With plenty lightning it can capture the best shots than MI A3
Speaker absolutely better than others its dolby
Display it's 435ppi IPS LCD screen is best with extreme dim mode and also has good colours and enough brightness
Battery it generally gives a SOT(screen on time) of 9-10hrs(100% - 0%) YouTube, whatsapp, little bit of games, entertainment apps, with location, wifi ON
Charging speed i didn't test it
UI nothing new Clean no bloat
Performance
I found a bit of heating while playing games and nothing yet , it can easily handle anything whatever you throw on it.
If you need extreme test of mobile then go to notebook check website it's best for technical persons
Hit thanks

I purchased this terminal 10 days ago and as a person that comes from a degoogled leeco le pro 3 (5yo) terminal i feel it is a subpar device. I cant stand the stock google android, all the time draining the allready small batery with trackers and spying on me. So as you can imagine when i saw your a atempt to port LOS to it i recovered some hope of having a degoogled experience for this terminal and for that i must thank you. As it is my main and only phone i need a solid dayly use experience so i will be checking this place for more news.

After looking into the problem with the NFC not working, I have found a Workaround!
This allows you to have fully working NFC functionality on any ROM including DotOS, Project Lighthouse, Havoc OS and LineageOS. It is a permanent fix as long as you don't go back to stock, If you do go back to stock you have to repeat the steps again.
1. Download LineageOS 15.1, The ROM of your choice and any extras.
2. Reboot to Recovery
3. Format Data
4. Reboot to Recovery
5. Wipe Dalvik, System, Data, Internal and Cache
6. Flash Lineage 15.1
7. Boot and setup LineageOS
8. Check NFC is Working
9. Reboot Recovery
10. Format Data
11. Reboot to Recovery
12. Wipe Dalvik, System, Data, Internal and Cache
13. Flash the ROM you want and any extras.
14. Boot and Setup
15. You Should have working NFC!
LineageOS 15.1 can be found here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-h830-h850-rs988-unofficial-lineageos-15-1-for-g5.3806842/
I am not sure why this works but @etmatrix believes that flashing from the Stock ROM (8.0.0) to anything higher without using a ROM of the same android version first locks the NFC functionality.
LineageOS 15.1 runs Android version 8 which is why we are using it.

My theory is little different. LG G5 has a hardware lock when the device is encrypted. If you remove the encryption with format, the hardware lock is not removed, is still configured.
I think but I can't verify, because requite many time to restore and try, which the hardware lock locks also the download firmware for security reason.
When I installed for the first time LOS 17.1 in logcat I have an error while nfc service try to download the firmware in chip.
I tried the long procedure start from android 7, install LOS 15, 16 and 17 and I resolved, but in this procedure, when I restored android 7, I removed the hardware lock, for this I think it is the hardware lock to broke NFC in LOS.
A day when I will have spare time and a new device, I'll try.
IR is working? On LOS 17.1 and 18.1 after the first command the chip stuck in slow blinking.
I opened an issue

Just tested and it's not working.
How about Location GPS Satellites Only Fix on this ROM? Havoc and LOS18.1 are missing out on this.

I don't know if this is also your case. When my device was in stock rom, I discovered this bad issue after some months. I never found a permanent fix, for me in LOS 18.1 GPS is working.

DotOS uses the Lineage Device Tree so it will share the same issues unfortunately.

LOS 17.1 Summer 2020 builds
I'm aware of HW issues on g5.
I'm sure mine is fine, since I've opened and fixed it by myself and satellite were working fine on those builds.
Also pattern of how satellites are showing in view is weird Some time no satellites in view at all and then one shows up with ≈25ish signal in GPS Test app.

Thanks, I will try and take a look into that. It's difficult for me to test as I have just found out my GPS doesn't work at all on stock ROM. It was finding 0 satellites but cleaned the pins inside and straightened them up a bit and it's now finding 35 but it's not connecting to them.

Maybe the better solution is this but I've never tried it.

My gps is now working fine on all ROMs including DotOS and LOS 18.1
I have attatched some images to show that its using GPS Satellite only as well.
Maybe its a hardware issue?

Thank you. That's valuable info for me. I'm on havoc ATM, might consider moving to DOT even though I'm not a fond of it's ui.
How about Bluetooth media buttons?
On LOS and havoc I can press pause while music is at play, but I can't unpause it with the same button without unlocking phone first.

No Problem. I have just tested this by connecting my "Xiaomi Air 2s" Bluetooth earphones to the phone and I can play and pause music while the phone is locked from the earphones and the lockscreen.
