So i have a Verizon Pixel 2 (Even though its on sprint) i can not unlock the Bootloader. So when the OTA update program starts for the second wave of Betas will i be able to flash back to 8.0 from 9.0 beta with the bootloader locked?

I got the update and Even my Bootloader unlock review is approved too....Whats next..?? Pls Explain in detail.. actually theres a problem while connecting my phone to laptop..i think Drivers problem.. yep its Mediatek Device

I have oppo f7 which have the exact same specs as realme 1
Unfortunately , the update didn't roll out for my phone ,and I don't think I will really get it since oppo doesn't seem to want anyone to root the f series
Can I download the OTA for the realme 1 and flash it on my phone ?
Or will I brick it ?
I wish someone would give me insights as I really want to unlock my oppo f7

in this .ozip file, please see that it has sytem folder and etc. or system.new.dat.br etc. Please tell me because I want full software

Yes it is possible. Kernel sources are needed to make a stable custom rom. But custom recoveries like TWRP can be made if bootloader is unlocked. You can go as far as rooting your phone and maybe install GSI roms. But those roms may not be stable.

I guess we do need to device source code to compile the TWRP. My bad I forgot. We need the source code so we can go somewhere otherwise just an unlocked bootloader is useless.

Looking at LG track record, I am not sure they will give us update by June end. But hope is high

Thought update is there finally, anyway uodate will show up first with lg bridge pc app

LG G8 is soon going to be launched in India..maybe that's y they are not releasing pie in India yet for G7.
HK, TWN, SEA even Australia (EAW) versions received their respective PIE beta builds..while IND version still don't have a beta build..
Maybe after launch of G8 in India in July or August, we may hopefully receive the pie..(sigh)

As Mentioned HK EMW/EAW received pie. Indian variant should receive update soon. Let me know if anyone flash HK variant kdz in Indian versions.

I think Indian version will get update by August. Since they are releasing lg g8 in July or August.

hi,
i've got g710 emw unlocked bootloader running pie with root. as of now to get root you have to unlock boot loader. search on the web on how to unlock bootloader unofficially for lg g7... lg gonna do it for eu models..ie g710em only
once thats done you can flash EU open version of pie or keep oreo and get root with magisk. there are links to the kdz's boot images and guides on how to. fairly straight forward. root your phone ,debloat it ,watch it fly.

Hi, How did you get the bootloader unlocked? I could not find anything on google. Did you use the Octopus way then?

Yep.... Octoplus...look up 4pda.... Its in Russian... Use a translator...

T-mobile op 9 android 12 is out... i even reveived the security and bugs update back in aug. Try checking for update manually from the settings

I currently have "11.2.22.2.LE54CB" and apparently for some reason it doesn't update even to newer security patches the last update it had was in august of 2021.

Download the Update From the OnePlus Website, Make sure it's the version for your device model, use Local Update to flash ROM manually, if you're rooted flash magisk within the app after OTA has completed -Reboot..

Can you check the app in the playstore under Oxygen Updater. Report back if no update download...
You may have to switch to global firmware as far as I can tell T-Mobile hasn't released the OnePlus 9 android 12L update at all.

Oxygen Updater is Not updating as well. It says that the Devices is Locked By its Carrier and they cant do anything about it.

This is the same version you got after reflashing via MSM tool for t-mobile. Your local vender turned off its updates via adb to protect the patch if you are from Pk

Yes, Exactly I am from PK. But at least I should be able to get updates to newer security patches even tho i won't shift to android 12.

T-mobile give very few security updates. Even on android update they are almost 3~4 months late to release the new android
