Question How can I get call recorder mod for my unlocked USA version pixel pro 7? - Google Pixel 7 Pro

I actually had it working from an old 6 pro module, but stopped shortly after and then I got a message saying it's not supported. I assume it's bc of the csc or whatever and If so how do I change the country code? Any ideas, this is a extremely helpful thing I use to recall conversation.
And for anyone that will say it's because it's not supported in the us and other countries. But I had this working like mind in my unlocked USA pixel pro 6
Any help would be awesome

I use this on my rooted Pixel 7 Pro. (Used it on the Pixel 6 and the OnePlus 7T before that.) Has to be rooted, tho, I believe.

If you use Google Dialer, there's a module in the LSPosed repository that force enables the call recording feature.

Features Needed/Missing in NEX

Overall I love this device , it is any day better than anything else under $700 (~Rs. 50k in India). But I have the habit of nitpicking and thus I found out some camera features that are missing and should be added by Vivo in future updates.
1. 4k video recording @60fps
2. Super slow motion @480fps
3. ARcore apps support
If anyone knows any method to achieve above mentioned features by any means , then please do respond.
And let's not stop bugging Vivo to get more features .
Try modified g cam apk from oneplus 3 forum

Buy the Indian version. Its 99% (or may be even 100%) similar to global version. You can run any launcher without any verification, google assistant + google lense comes pre installed and it is certified on play store. What more will global version have ?

Does Indian version still come with Jovi installed but deactivated? Probably better that it wasn't anyway so it's less redundancy /bloat when there's Google AI.
Just got mine. Was lucky to be able to get the Indian version.
Overall it's a good device, reminds me of the s9 and note a bit in the hand.
I have gone throughany devices in the apst year or so (Note 8, S8+, S9+, iPhone X, Pixel 2Xl, xiaomi mi mix and htc u11) I still love mi mix more than all. I wish it has a better camera. I love it so much I have 2 ( one for backup as I have broken couple in the past) it's the only phone that I keep going back to.
Vivo seems to be a good phone, UI is a bit different and will take some time. I would recommend getting Indian or international version as you won't have to deal with the headache of Chinese phones.
Indian version doesn't have Jovi, it's remapped to Google Lens.
It does have Jovi but deactivated because if you go into settings, there is a sub-heading with Jovi, which I guess controls the AI function in camera & games.
PS: Just checked, no option to activate it.

Thanks. So it's pretty much dead bloatware if u can't uninstall it or activate it.
Lol. These ROM designers... Smh.
Third party button remap apps... Do they work? Can AI button be used to launch camera etc?
Got an Indian version. I miss face unlock from op6 or Ipx. I wish it'd be a WQHD+ screen like s9+ and IP certificate. What I miss the most though is NFC, as I'm using the gpay all the time.
Hopefully the software issues will be sorted.
I have a problem with AOD. It doesn't display notification icons even though the options re checked in the settings. Weird.

It does not support third party app notification, only stock dailer and sms app.
Vivo must upgrade AOD and give more customization option and functionality just like Samsung AOD offer.

Best call recorder app for Pixel 3 ?

I was using Note 9 before switching to Pixel 3 and one of the feature which I miss from Note 9 is inbuilt call recorder... If I root my Pixel 3, which is the best call recording app for Pixel 3 ( Android Pie) ?

I second that. Been using it since before it was publicly available and haven't looked back. Plus it's only a one time charge vs the others that charge a subscription.
Doesn't Android Pie require root for call recording? This app doesn't ask for root privileges.

Does seem odd. Both with the same Android updates and same carrier? Not sure what you mean by "available". It shows up on the Play Store from the XL but then what?

Yes, both are Google versions rooted with November update and both are on T-Mobile. Option to install from the Google Play page is grayed out for the 3 XL. I guess I will try from the Play app.
*Doesn't even show up in the Play app on the 3 XL (Device is Certified).

Sorry, no idea. I don't root my phones, so can't help figuring out why the Play Store would block it. Never seen that.

OnePlus Nord stock Google phone app

Can anyone who has a Nord or the stock OnePlus Google phone app from the Nord post the APK for me to try on my OnePlus 8 5G?
I'd like to use the stock Google phone app that's on the Nord and see if it'll work on my OnePlus 8 5G.
Thank you in advance!

Pretty sure it requires the framework as well for certain functions. There's plenty of patched versions floating around to try. You never know, OnePlus may push it in a future update.

Dont work for me at all, and the weird thing is dosent work on google pixel 4a either both stock - both android 11 - i did phone oneplus they said it was a software issue and google pay not compatable which lead me to buying the pixel 4a thinking it would work but it dosent - all that happens is the POS machine beeps and then just keep beeping - can add card - bank verifies card - submitted logs to google - waiting on there repsonse - thing is if i use wear os watch it works also works on s10 , realme 6pro , relame x50 5g , also pixle 3axl on lineage OS - if you do a search for gpay app and take a look atr german and russin forum its littered with app not working but nothing for the uk , tried uninsallting ,reinstalling ,clearing app cache and storgar nothing works - oneplus nord & pixel 4a both new phones no root no custom rom - so jsut dosent work for what ever reason .
It worked for me in the past on old phone. So it's not about anything outside the phone, both sim and bank cards have worked.
And like you mention everything works except for paying that fails instantly.
Works fine here.
doesn't work for me

Sent from my Nord using XDA Labs
After some time, I tested it today, and it was working fine.
The NFC antenna is at the top side of the phone, where the cameras are. So I placed that part on the terminal and it was paid.

You are right, removed all the cards. And started all over... and indeed it started to work again. Amazing. Thanks!

Question Some Qs on this phone

Hello everyone.
I'm a fresh owner of a Poco X3 Pro 8+256, EU version, up-to-date.
I have some questions and I hope someone can answer:
1. Reception is... deficient! I mean, using same operator, I have - in the same "almost blind spot", better signal with my old Huawei Mate 10 Lite rather with this. Does someone else noticed same? Is there any way to improve?
2. I miss my call recording. On my old one, stuck at Android 8, I used ACR. On this one ACR doesn't work. The only one, stupid proof, is BoldBeast Call Recorder. Do you have others to propose?
3. I don't dig much some of the default apps, like Dialer (it's stock Google Dialer) and others. Do you have some alternatives to default apps, but not requiring root?
4. Is there a cheatsheet to stuff to do before using the phone as a daily driver? Apart debloating...
5. Speaking of debloating, does it really change something in the experience? Is there a safe list for bloatware to uninstall?
6. Does this phone has the possibility of video output through USB-C? If so, how to do it?
7. Is there a list of codes to try for this phone?
Thank you in advance for taking time to read this and to reply.

It does to some point, for battery preservation and less ads.
XiaomiADBFastbootTools (Java)

The apps listed in the program are consider safe to remove. In case anything went wrong, you can re-install them back.
Some apps will still broke some functions if you debloat it. Try and error.

Some codes like factory/hidden menu,, disabling/enabling functions and so on. You know, codes to digit from the Dialer.

Change the 4G band of both phone to be using the same band to check if the signal is really not working.
4G signals have different bands. Different phones have different bands using. And even same model phones, in different countries, they have different bands.
If you buy Redmi K40 (from China), you may have signal problem in the US. Poco F3 (Global) has better signal coverage compare to Redmi K40 outside China. Even if Redmi K40 has same spec as Poco F3, it still has this problem.
Use NetMonster app to check what bands using.
