[Q] Is the display meant to do this!?!

First things first I'll explain my set up..
I have MIUI with theBLN kernel with voodoo colours v6 and the voodoo app.
I have used the settings described in the "Best settings for voodoo".
I have the BLN Pro app running and active..
I also have screen brightness on auto..
My battery seems to die very quick all of a sudden and on battery graph shows 47% by the screen..
After clicking on the screen usage I get:
Battery Useage 172972 uAh
Open Screen Power Useage 6868 uAh
Power Useage when screen is idle 7865 uAh
Power Useage with a dim lit screen 125883 uAh
Power Useage with a medium lit screen 50 uAh
Power Useage with a Bright lit screen 28340 uAh
Is there something I have messed up??

Are you on about the battery usage in the 'About Phone' menu? Either way I haven't seen any of the above you have mentioned relating the the battery.
I did try MIUI but took it off after 1 day - didn't like it and it did drain my battery compared to other ROMs

Nightmode healthy for battery / display?

So in CM 11 there is this daydream option with a dimmed clock. The background however is not fully off but glowing very lightly. I was thinking of recharging the S4 Mini over night while leaving this mode on.
1. Is this healthy for the battery when it is charged longer than needed over night? Also the nightmode is sucking always a little energy.
2. Is this healthy for the display when the background is always glowing a little. Should I search for an app which is completely dark in the background?
Thanks guys
Tom

Battery settings to prolong battery life.

Does anyone (that isn't using medium power saving mode) have settings that make your battery last at least close to 40 hrs? With it turned off, I'm on 25 hours and change.

Mysterious auto battery saver at 15%

I've recently bought my Poco X3 NFC and I'm noticing that when the battery reaches 15% the phone puts itself into a hidden battery saver mode. The standard Battery Saver and Ultra Battery Saver modes are still off, but the phone turns into a sort of Dark Mode, albeit the Dark mode switch is off, it also turns the haptics off, sync off, and the general performance lowers as well.
I've searched in the settings but I can't find the source of it. Does anyone knows how can I turn this feature off?
Their may be a third party app with a sneaky battery saver mode enabler.
Also double check all settings.
If you've enabled developer mode check there too that you haven't activated something

How to decrease brightness with Android overlay stopped working on miui 13

Hey,
Recently I noticed that screen overlay that reduce brightness further then the rom settings stopped working(screen filter, night shift, etc..)
The lowest setting on the official rom isn't low enough and my eyes hurt at nights.
Any reasonable solution?
