I think most of us are having a hard time understanding exactly what you want. Let me try to guess. You want a new ROM for your phone...like a Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM. You do not want carrier branding, thus you would like a custom cooked ROM. And by the sounds of it, you are not real sure how to use the terminology which means you probably have not flashed a ROM before.
Please go to the first thread, the sticky, and read what it says. There are links to all of the information you could possibly need in that thread. Yes, it is a lot of reading, but failure to fully understand what you are doing and how it should be done could result in bricking your phone. A bricked phone is good for one thing...being a paperweight. So unless you are prepared for that, go forth and begin your reading.

Post in that forum regarding your issue.
Make sure you read the Wiki regarding flashing, as you need to hard spl your device first before you can flash it.

I understand that English is not your primary language, neither is mine (I speak American)... But the rules of this forum require posts to be in English, or at least an English translation provided in the same post.

According to Nutritional Anthropologists Enchiladas are an American creation. They were created by a Mexican Bar owners under the request of three very astute Women from Texas. Also chili con carne I believe is Cowboy cuisine through and through.

Do you have HardSpl installed?..
if yes.. try with mtty... theres a good tutorial to use mtty in this forum.

Makes no difference to me who created them...I love enchiladas and chili. I have had enchiladas in la Ciudad de Mexico--Mexico City for the gringos among us and they are good too. A little different than the texmex in the US but good none the less. I have even had great mexican food in Tokyo.
And now the thread returns to topic. Try flashing from the SD Card. The Wiki has the info on how to do it. The Kaiser Forum is so much better organized than some of the others, thanks to dedicated mods and Alex!

Yea mtty is not for the faint of heart, you can really jack up your device doing that.

Device registry did not help. Still the same network error

Go to the ASUS website and register your tablet, but be aware that it may take up to a week for them to put your data into their system so that you can unlock. I had the same problem, but try every day and if it doesn't work within a week all I can suggest is try to unlock connected to a different Wi-Fi network, I used my home network to register, and my folks' internet to unlock.
These may be purely circumstantial, all I can really say is be patient.
And it is not a problem with your MAC Address, several people have been screwed over by sending their tablets to ASUS and receiving them back unable to unlock or root, so beware.
ASUS does not provide support for unlocking your bootloader, since this action voids your warranty

But since Bootloaderunlock went on the same day.

it is normal that you can't open the .img in the .rar from windows without ext2explorer, but it's a .rar, so you should extract it and you shouldn't rename it or do other things with it

The rar for the root was made with a recent version of winrar you need a recent version of winrar or a beta version of 7zip because the stable wasn't updated since 2012.

could you please help me i follow all the steps in the link, i even tried with two versions of the rootedsystem.img but nothing seems to work.... it goes in to download mode -i even copied-pasted the commands to save any typo- but then nothing.
Any one of you had the same problem? any help is appreciated ....
Btw mine is also 5.1.1 ver15a

hi, I follow all the steps in the link, and at step 11 I write the command for my version of LG that is " for international h995 (ver15a) / 959 V15a. But my telephone version is h955 v15a EUR-XX. After 2 minutes I saw the # and then the step 12. Then I power off the phone and when I power on there is the SUPER SU installed so the root is ok..... hope this helpful........ Sorry for my english

little bit to late but does it also work on lg g flex 2 h955 v15c? i have the rootedsystem.img for v15c? but maybe its someting in the script

One Plus 8 fingerprint reader recognized no touches after try to calibrate the Sensor !

i search yesterday and right now, i found post with similar problem but not with the one i have.
My Phone is a OnePlus8 with OxygenOs13.
My fingerprint scanner worked perfectly under os12, but after updating to os13 my phone hardly recognized any fingerprints.
Then, when I entered a new finger, I noticed that the display said that the sensor was dirty and that I should clean the display. But that was by no means correct, the display was more than clean.
I then bought a calibration tool hoping it would help. During the calibration I got an error message and since then no more touches have been detected.
I reset the phone to factory settings twice, that didn't help.
Then I did a rollback, also to no avail. If I try to save a new finger under Security, no touches are recognized. All versions were stock from OnePlus, so no costom versions.
Now im under IN2013_11_f.62
Can it be that this menu under *#899# is independent of the firmware? Because the rollback to Os12 didn't help.
I hope that I haven't forgotten any detail and that you can help me.

Hey, I haven't done anything other than try to calibrate the sensor. And what annoys me, it's 4 months after the guarantee that something like this happens. I tried this part here.

I then wrote something about the tool under the youtube video, after which they only left a cell phone number and asked to discuss everything via Whatapp. But that struck me as a bit strange.

Whilst trying to find a way to get my brightness sensor working again I accidentally calibrated my one plus 8 pros fingerprint sensor as well. Now I've got the same issue of not being able to get it back to working order (meaning recognize my fingers).
Have any of you found a solution so far?
