I have a asus Zenfone 4 Ze554KL that I have tried to root using many different means. even Kongo types.
The phone is unlocked . Is there any place I can send the phone to get rooted?
Android 9 - any good apps need a rooted phone.

I'd like to ask anyone for help regarding the rooting of my phone.
So far i have tried every program available like vroot,kingoroot,srsroot,framaroot and many others i dont remember,but no luck!
All of them have failed to root my phone.I ve installed the phone drivers on my pc and im running windows 8.1 on my laptop if that makes any difference.i also have usb debugging on.
The only time it worked, was with root genius but only for 5 minutes, then it unroots itself again.
So if you have any ideas please share,i only want to remove the bloatware that came with my phone.

I have just been given one of these god awful phones for work,
seems that we are stuck with 4.22 android, which is a shame because the work related apps the company bought me the phone to use, won't run on 4.22 and all the developers of the app say is that I need to upgrade to Android 5
Rooting Huawei y330 u-01
Though this problem has taken a while now, it is possible to root your Huawei Ascend y330 u-01 using the kingo root option as at 4th December, 2015 :highfive:. I am not quite sure if rooting via phone works, but the results are impressive through the PC version. Unlike before where rooting restarts the phone unexpectedly and fails, support for Huawei y330 u-01 is now available for kingo root users. However, at the time of writing this piece, though root is successful, it is easily lost when you allow an application to access the root for a couple of times. Therefore, you should use this access immediately otherwise you will have to wait again for the kingo root program to root your phone again.

I know this is really late, and you may not be using it anymore. I just recently purchased a phablet from american pumpkins, and will pass on the info I have. I just effectively rooted using IRoot from the PC. You have to watch the install from both the pc and the device, as it asks if you will allow permissions to affect your startup procedure. You then need to clean off the One Cleaner and One Locker they put on it once you have rooted completely.
I just purchased an Alcatel Onetouch Pixi 7 from Sprint (Model number is 9007T). I have seen posts about rooting the T-Mobile version (9006W IIRC). Does anyone know if this process will work for mine without bricking it?

Well, I finally got the device rooted using KingoRoot's on-device method (I installed the APK). I had to completely disable the Lookout security software that comes preinstalled and it took 3 tries, but finally, it is rooted. I still cannot find a version of recovery that works with the device, but I am still looking.
I was able to use Kingo Root PC version. A couple of tries and it worked.
Has anybody been able to boot into the bootloader? I have been unsuccessful, I've tried a few different methods and nothing seems to work for some reason.
I confirm that the only thing preventing kingo root from achieving root is lookout disable it first... Do so in settings>apps>lookout>force stop/disable...
I have recently obtained the US version of the Honor 8, I would like to root it but I have never rooted a device before and I am worried I will accidently break my phone doing this. Is there a high chance of this happening? Also, what are some easy ways to root the Honor 8 running Nougat (easiest for a noob), thanks?

There are ways of rooting your phone and there are plenty of guides on here.
Can I please ask why do you want to root your phone ??

You need to unlock your bootloader and your device will be reset, you will lose all data on your phone. Bakcup your device.
You should root your phone, Because of Viper4Android. It will make the sound in your headset so muuuch better.
Question, Can you root android 6 and above, because I'm trying to root my android 6.0 phone and it would not root on any rooting apps. even my oneplus one that i had unrooted cant not even root again, can you guys help me
I have an Android 6 device that is rooted. Be careful with many rooting apps..they can be very questionable themselves.
