Hi everyone,
My company decided to use Good for Enterprise for mobile email. I am using Xiaomi developer version and I don't wanna lose developers features. I bought a Teclast X89 for it has dual OS (both Android and Windows) and tried to install GFE on it. But GFE complaints my newly bought X89 is rooted and refuses to run.
I did try numbers of methods trying to get rigid of ROOTED status but still in vain. I tried-
1. resintall from scratch with the stock ROM. Of course it failed. GFE thinks it is rooted.
2. rooted it and deleted all busybox related files, deleted su and unroot it with differen method (unroot using different root softwares, unroot using unroot feature from superclearner). It also failed. GFE still complaints it is rooted.
Every time after I rooted and unrooted the device. I have checked it with root checker software to ensure that I have UNROOTED it. But, GFE is still complaining it is ROOTED.
Anyone has good method to bypass GFE's root checking?
Or, anyone has good way to totally UNROOT my device?
Or, can I flash it with a unroot ROM?
Does anyone have experience on Good?
Hello,
I recently got the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 running Android 5.0.2 which is a phone based off the ZTE Blade S6 Lux which is known for having a secure boot loader. Anyway, I have been trying to root it for quite a while.
I managed to root it using Kingroot but it only lasts till a phone restart so it is a temporary root. I have tried the PC version and 3 different versions of Kingroot APK with no permanent root. I even tried replacing Kingroot with SuperSU but that's not working at all as it breaks the temp root. I have tried a few other tools to try root such as kingoroot but they didn't work at all. I really need a root because I want to make a Tasker profile that puts airplane mode on when a NFC tag is scanned and lots of other things, but that's irrelevant.
I don't want to flash a custom ROM as I feel very unconformable with that.
If anyone knows how to make the root stay or any other method on rooting please reply to this thread.
Thanks,
Zacy5000.
Ok, I was thinking perhaps with the temp root I could put some files in the phone which is a different root to make the root stay but I wouldn't know how to go about doing that (if that makes sense).
I apologize if this is posted elsewhere in the forums, or if it's incorrectly placed, But I figured it may be useful to some.
after hours of looking and browsing the internet, I finally found a way to root my Samsung Galaxy J1 by Verizon.
You will need the following: Samsung Galaxy SM-J100VPP non rooted
Kingoroot application OR
Kingroot application.
Step 1) Go to your dialer and enter *#*#759#*#* or install an app called Hidden Menus and look for "Rlz Debug UI..."
Step 2) turn OEM Mode ON
Step 3) Use KingoRoot or King Root and click root.
This will work on devices that have received the OTA update from VZW.

If anyone knows of a CWM Recovery or Custom Roms For this device, I would very much appreciate a link. if not, I will have to try to port it myself. Thanks in advance.

Bunk help
I've tried the king method and odin method and still can't root this J100VPP.
I even tied to brick it nothing. The king method stops at 90 percent. I'm lost, I need a new idea.
I have the exact same phone and I was able to root with kingroot.net. If I remember correctly I had to do it two times before it was successful.
Patience

I had a Samsung Galaxy J100VPP from Verizon, an I move to Guatemala, and a rooted the phone, and I need use the phone in Guatemala with the Guatemalan Companies, the companies are Tigo, Claro and Movistar, what you did to put in work your phone in Venezuela??? Help Please
Old thread but I just got root using Kingroot 4.9.5 to root SM-J100VPP with andriod 5.1.1 confirmed and working.:good:
Working for me but afraid to update it with the chainfire one want exposed on this
It worked for me with Kingroot and Hidden Menus but after optimizing with Kingroot and uninstalling a few bloatware apps, it crashed, restarted (with the open lock icon, "custom" underneath, now on startup) and no longer has root access in Root Checker, it saying "Root access is not properly installed on this device".
I think it should be noted that Kingroot originally told me root access was unavailable but below also said "Root strategy available, just try it", so I did. Now it seems that wasn't permanent. I won't attempt it again unless one of you has a lead that requires me to.
And how do I know if I got the OTA update from VZW?
Anyone else have this problem?
I am a greenhorn with this stuff. This is my first root attempt. Please be specific when directing me somewhere if needed.
I used Kingo root and after a few tries it worked. I like this better because I can use tasker with the build in Superuser (after build prob mod of course and for some reason supersu). I was not able to get tasker to work with King root.

The hidden menus is an app you can download from the play store to enable Rlz Debug UI to OEM mode. I have used Kingroot (which is the closest i get to rooting the phone) and Kingoroot. Just go to their sites and download the APK.
I've got the SM-G930UZKAXAA arriving today and after a ton of searching, I can't figure out if there's a stable root for it. Do I use the AT&T method with the engineering image for that device?
Also is there just one thread that has solutions for all the problems rooting seems to be giving it?
Honestly I don't even need root that badly, I just want to use Titanium Backup to bring over my apps from my Oneplus 3, since Helium won't work on an encrypted device.
Yes, follow AT&T root directions with EngineeringBoot for G930U. The only problem I had was the wifi saving. There's a couple different ways to fix that. I used S7_or_S7Edge_Fixes_Debloater_V15.zip from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s7/how-to/how-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039.
HI i am new in this (but very good following steps and instructions )
i have a Kyocera Duraforce e6560, I have read something about rooting and i discovered that rooting is one thing and that installing a custom rom is another thing.
In my case the only thing i want in my phone is to enable the MMI codes functions and to remove the hotspot restriction (AT&T is well known by blocking the hotspot functionality of their phone if used with another network.
My doubs and questions:
Can i do that with rooting the device?
once i modify what i need to modify in order to get those functions working back again.. can i "unroot" the system back?
and if possible to remove some bloatware
can you help me to get that?
I have install first flashed twrp recovery and i flashed android recovery thinking that twrp will be removed.....
but it causes problem my Samsung star pro does not reboot.....
I found this thread while searching for a solution for the same hotspot problem.
The solution I found was the PdaNet+ app on the Google Play store. It works fine for me with an AT&T DuraForce E6560 and my Windows 10 laptops.
