You are confusing unlocking the bootloader with rooting.
The two don't happen on their own.

Yet unlocking both was required to unlock.
Sorry but I can't understand. Before I was on htc and it's very different

Unlocking the BL allows you to flash custom software. By unlocking you just got access to partitions. Now in order to have root you need a root manager, like Magisk to manage and grant the root requests. To have this managing app you need to patch your current kernel and then flash it and only after that your root management app will work. And yes, now that you have BL unlocked your phone will fail safenet checks, but can go around that by having root

[Q] OTA Update Question [Xperia T]

Hi All,
I have an Xperia T with a locked bootloader, I've rooted it using the backup&restore method... a couple of days ago an OTA update became available, but I'm afraid to install it in case it somehow kills root then locks me out of putting it back again.
Any ideas of what this update will do?

... I'm fully aware what a software update is, and does.
My question is, will this remove root (it presumably patches the timing exploit used to gain root too, meaning no I probably cannot root it again after applying this update) and no I cannot unlock the bootloader.

Need help!!

I installed framaroot(latest) version on my device. My device is listed as compatible but when I open framaroot it says this

What should I do? Is there any other one-click app to root/unroot my device without computer and without the risk of being bricked? if there is any then please list it and give me a step by step tutorial of using it to root

It means your device cannot be rooted by this app. You have to go the official way

I know that....but what's the official way?

Rooting
First of all there will never be a official way for rooting and the word official from the above thread means find your device on the forum and search for the post about how to root.
Risk factor remains but if instructions are followed properly there will be no problems
Rooting without computer is not supported by all devices. It depends on procedures available to root the device you are using.
Well starting 3 threads for a simple question isn't gonna get you anywhere. Seriously JUST READ more before spamming this section.
Anyway I already replied to your question in your other thread.

2 quick questions please. Will I lose ROOT, TWRP, X-Posed_______________ by flashing this and, when it says "download", will it install automatically too or just stick the file somewhere so I can use Chainfire's app to install it without losing ROOT?
I appreciate the help. Thanks
You can't update it when it's rooted, it will fail when installation started.
Thanks

You can't update it, even with flashfire. But you can only flash whole updated stock firmware, and then flash root.

Twrp won't work.
1. There's no official support.
2. I can port twrp for my phone but I can't get the bootloader unlocked. The porting of twrp would be useless if we can't unlock the bootloader.
