Boot.img for OP8 Verizon 11.IN67CD - OnePlus 8 Questions & Answers

I unlocked my bootloader successfully for my IN2019 Verizon edition listed here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-unlock-verizon-oneplus-8-5g-uw-in2019-bootloader.4409377/
But I can't find the Boot.img for my build number 11.IN67CD - Does anyone know where I can find this? I could boot any of the TWRP versions successfully.

Do you need to root it? Sideload a Magisk .zip instead.

Help with root access for Nokia 3 running Android Pie

Could anyone please help with a guide for rooting Nokia 3 and flashing TWRP that works for Android 9.0?
Thanks.
It's very easy if you have the bootloader already unlocked.
1.- Download magisk apk from github
2.- Install and download the zip
3.- Move the zip to a sd card
4.- Flash twrp using Sp Flash Tools
5.- Boot into recovery and flash magisk zip
That's all
I tried yesterday

Thank you for your answer.
What if you don't have your bootloader unlocked ? Do you just need to check the "Unlock Bootloader" switch in the developers options ? Thank you

Hey. How to downgrade nokia 3 from pie to nogaut ? I want to root my device
before you do this just remember this wipes your phone
you can unlock your nokia 3 on 9.0 just make sure bootloader is unlocked in dev settings and boot into fastboot.
then run the following commands
fastboot -i 0x2e04 oem key [MD5-key]
fastboot flashing unlock_critical
fastboot flash boot [path to whatever you're flashing e.g. magisk]
then run
fastboot reboot
and your phone will be rooted and the bootloader unlocked

How can I remove the orange state?
I mean, currently, if I lock the bootloader again, I get a red state.
and I can only skip it, if I connect it to the usb.
and start normally, without any status warning, if it is connected to the usb

get the twrp recovery image file from unofficialtwrp.com/nokia-3-root-twrp-3-2-3 ....
rename the file to recovery.img and put the file in adb directory.....also put the magisk.zip file in the sd card (don't put it in the internal memory)
then get into fastboot mode....then enter the following commands....
fastboot oem key [md5 hash]
fastboot flashing unlock
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot reboot
while rebooting, instantly press vol up+power to go into recovery mode( dont let the phone to boot normally or you will have to flash twrp again and your phone might be in orange state but ignore that)....if it shows "no command" press the same buttons at the same time to get into recovery mode.....then install the magisk.zip and reboot....then install magisk.apk and you are done.... tried and tested on nokia 3 ta- 1032 android pie just today and it worked...

Don't do it !!! After rooting TA-1032 Pie 9, camera does not work !!!
Hier is what I did:
$ adb devices
$ adb reboot bootloader
$ fastboot devices
$ echo -n "NE1GXXXXXXXXXXXX" | md5sum | tr a-z A-Z | awk '{print $1}'
$ fastboot oem key YOUR-KEY
# the first time did not accepted
$ fastboot -i 0x2e04 oem key YOUR-KEY
$ fastboot oem key YOUR-KEY
$ fastboot flashing unlock
$ fastboot reboot
# Installed magisk v23.apk
$ fastboot flash boot magisk_patched-23000_7R099.img
$ fastboot reboot
I can confirm that this works on Nokia3 TA-1032, but the problem is the camera.
All you get is green background, if anyone knows hot to fix the green
background, please let me/us know.
Thank you,

Road to the unlock Verizon device.

If you are referring to a Magisk patched kernel, do the following. The name of the img file now has some random letters appended to it.
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash boot magisk_patched.img
fastboot reboot

Question Proper Rooting for OnePlus 9?

Would anyone be able to direct me or send me the proper information on how to root my OnePlus 9 global LE2115? Because their are to many threads and Im getting confused
You can either use boot.img or you can boot into twrp and flash magisk.apk. 2 options for A11
I have issues rooting LE2115_11_C.44 (Lastest update android 12)
I try patched with Magisk:
fastboot boot boot.img
and that's ok, device is rooted, but when reboot my device don't keep root, so I try:
fastboot flash boot_a boot.img
fastboot flash boot_b boot.img
and device go into loop in bootloader then I rolled back flashing stock boot.img
I tried install TWRP from https://dl.twrp.me/lemonadep/ using
fastboot boot twrp.img
The TWRP logo appear and next show "Qualcomm crush dump mode"
I need help

A12 root method is different. Not like A11 where you flash the patched boot.img,it won't work. VBmeta and a vendor.img is used also. Also, TWRP is for A11. If you want root,Use the tool here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...xyysds-root-toolbox-coloros-oxygenos.4341167/
Use option 5 and then 6 and reboot. Magisk will be installed. Click the magisk app and update it.
Note: use your phone to download and extract file with password that OP provides in the link

Stock boot.img is required for ota. Flash stock boot image then update.
To root again, get the boot.img for the software version your phone is running on and patch with magisk. Flash the patched boot.img and voila you have rooted.
Glad that you did. Any idea about custom rom on Narzo 30 Pro? as Realme excluded this device in her Android 14 update.
I am using Realme 3.0. Any good way to root and unlock bootloader without getting bricked?

First,
Find the boot.img of your firmware
Patch it using magisk app
Find a patched vbmeta of your phone's version
Move those to your pc and into the folder where fastboot is found
Reboot to fastboot mode and connect it to your pc
Type fastboot devices to check if it is connected
Type fastboot flash boot nameoffile.img(the boot file name)
Type fastboot flash vbmeta nameoffile.img(the vbmeta file name)
Restart the phone either manually or using fastboot reboot
you should also put this command to avoid bootloop or any problem with booting your phone
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta nameoffile.img(vbmeta file name)
The easiest method is by downloading magisk latest apk from the github and rename it to Magisk.zip and flash it with your custom recovery
