File manager not visible - Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC Questions & Answers

The file manager app from xiaomi is not accessible or visible from the apps vault or the launcher, the only way I have to open it is thought the Play store.
Is there a way to force create the shortcut to my launcher?

[Q] Launcher with sort

Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a launcher (preferrably free) which has the option of custom sorting or grouping in the app drawer (or as a worst case, option to hide apps). GoLauncher provides an option to add folders but i find there is a bit of lag when I open the folder and also the app drawer settings don't simmer down to the folder level, so even though I'm seeing 5x5 apps on the app drawer, it is still 3x5 on the folder lever.
thanks for any help
Try "All Apps Organizer".

[Q] Folder of apps in the apps menu

Im currently using Go Launcher EX to create folders inside my all apps folder (app drawer, apps menu, call it what you think its best).
Is there another app that can do that? (Just create the folders, no need to change the homescreen or any other function)
Thx
No apps for this?
or place the apps on the apps and the folder will show up. i have that too.
I use "Apps Organizer" (free in the Market) to organise my apps in folders on the homescreen. Works perfectly! And I think there are more apps like this, just search for "app folder"...

Handshaker apk installed, no app interface

I downloaded and installed the Handshaker apk and installed it on my Pixel 2. It shows up in my Application Manager, but there is no icon in my app drawer so I can't add it to my home screen or launch it. How do I go about creating a shortcut on my home screen, or if not that then how do I find the application to manually launch it?
Thanks in advance.

importing backup creates links to the playstore apps instead of the apps themselves

I created a backup from the Nova Launcher settings in my Xiaomi Redmi plus.
I then imported it to my new Xiaomi Redmi 7 and it did reinstall all my apps. My homescreen is populated and identical to the original. But clicking on most of the apps takes me to the play store page of the app instead of the app itself. The apps are installed but I have to open them from there.
To be clear, if I create a shortcut to the app by dragging it from the app drawer, it works as intended. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

there's a hidden "files" app?

there is "files by google" which is on the play store. then there is also a "files" app with a white folder on blue background icon. similar to icons of the stock phone and settings app. is there a way have its icon on launchers?
There has to be a better way, but I found at least a janky work around.
Download "simple shortcuts - create Shortcuts" from play store
Open it and go to all activities tab
Search for files app
Click on it and select files activities action
Click the yellow button in the bottom right.
For me this works.
ahh, thanks for the tip. it turns out that app is also not ideal for me. still had to download a 3rd party explorer.
