Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a launcher (preferrably free) which has the option of custom sorting or grouping in the app drawer (or as a worst case, option to hide apps). GoLauncher provides an option to add folders but i find there is a bit of lag when I open the folder and also the app drawer settings don't simmer down to the folder level, so even though I'm seeing 5x5 apps on the app drawer, it is still 3x5 on the folder lever.
thanks for any help
Try "All Apps Organizer".

Is there a way to organise apps in the app drawer? It is now just a collection of apps, but I like the idea of a totally clean homescreen (only widgets and dock), and an organised App Drawer.
It doesn't matter how the apps are organised. It can be with folders, different pages, whatever. But it has to be in the App Drawer. Is there an app/launcher/custom ROM that can do that?
Anyone? I know not many people want this, because they organise their apps on the homescreens, and the App Drawer is just a collection of all apps, but as I said, I really like the idea of a homescreen with widgets only, and an organised App Drawer with folders or different pages or whatever.
ADW Launcher has an option to create a catalog to group apps, but everytime you need to change catalogs, you have to press menu, then "choose group".
It´s nice, but it should have a better way to choose between the groups.
All apps organizer is what I use. If you use adw or launcher pro you can make it your app drawer. Works really well.

So..., that just replaces the App Drawer? That's fine to me, but I hope you can hide the 'real' App Drawer then. I still want my app drawer button in the middle + 2 icons on either side in the dockbar, but then the app drawer icon should link to that All Apps Organizer program.

You can set the option in ADW.Launcher so that there are arrows on the left and side of the bottom of the screen when you open the app drawer, then pressing those arrows you can switch the catalogs.
Just found out that Go Launcher EX has folder support. I'm starting to like this launcher more and more! Nobody knows it though, so I couldn't find much information about the folder support in app drawer.
Im currently using Go Launcher EX to create folders inside my all apps folder (app drawer, apps menu, call it what you think its best).
Is there another app that can do that? (Just create the folders, no need to change the homescreen or any other function)
Thx
No apps for this?
or place the apps on the apps and the folder will show up. i have that too.
I use "Apps Organizer" (free in the Market) to organise my apps in folders on the homescreen. Works perfectly! And I think there are more apps like this, just search for "app folder"...

Hello fellow N5 users~! I am hoping that someone out there knows the solution to my frustration.
Coming from TouchWiz and 3rd party launchers such as Apex and Hololauncher, I'm very used to having the ability to hide app icons inside the app drawer. If I have the apps as shortcuts on my homescreens, dock, and folders, I like hiding the reduntant app icons inside the drawer so that when I do enter the drawer, I don't have to filter through the apps (I have 120 apps installed).
I found some apps that promise to hide apps inside the drawer but they seem to only work by disabling the apps, which leads to app icons in the homescreens, dock, and folders to disappear as well.
So is there a way to hide apps inside the app drawer like we can with Apex?

There is no way to do this with the stock launcher.
I really like a tidy phone. I like everything in one spot. I know I can create app links on the desktop. But i typically dont create any app links on my desktop. Does anyone know of a way or a replacement app drawer that would allow me to create Web link shortcuts in the app drawer. Even apps that are available on the app store, if I could get a Web page to work the same, the less apps installed, the better battery life and performance of the phone.
Also I do know about bookmark apps, but I don't like an app to hold the bookmarks. I want the bookmarks right in the app drawer.
Nova Launcher (Might need Prime)
Nova Settings > App & Widget drawers > Drawer Groups
Open the Folders tab, Create a new folder and name it "Web Links" or whatever you want it called
Now there is a folder in the Apps drawer called "Web Links"
Long press it, and drop it on the homescreen
Fill it with all your web links, check in the app draw, it should also be receiving those links
Once you are done, delete it from the homescreen, and it should remain full of your links in the apps draw
Tested and working fine here with Nova Launcher Prime 5.0 beta 3 (Likely works with the latest stable too)
I have hunted high and low for this, but is there a way to scroll up and down in the Android One UI apps drawer? I hate going left to right etc, and for the moment don't want to install Nova Launcher (just want to run with the stock launcher for a bit).
I cannot see where (if it exists) this setting is to change.
As far as I know there is not a way to scroll through the app drawer vertically using One UI. You would have to switch to a different launcher for a vertical app drawer.
Use Jina App Drawer.
Try the extremely powerful Jina App Drawer. Works with any launcher. This is what I use with Samsung One Ui.
