Hi,
Pardon me as English is not my main but, I'll try cut right in to the chase and explain more below.
Phone:
Working White Samsung S6 Edge Sprint Model: SM-G925P, locked by Pattern. Need access photos and documents, is this possible?
(Disconnected old sim and no Wifi connection)
What and why?
My wife's father passed away year and a half ago, hes personal phone contains food recipes & photos etc, that my wife really badly wants(happy wife, happy life), Hes father old iMac had gotten some water damage and nobody knows that password either so I'm trying to do everything in my power to fix this.
Attachment:
I have consulted & purchased Tenorshare & iMobie that were promising pattern unlock without data wipe, iMobie told that their application cannot do it, so i got refund.
Tenorshares application should be able do this but my G925P model is not in the list(pic) and I'm afraid to brick it and the customer service doesn't understand to ask R&D.
I don't mind purchasing any application or even pay for help, i just want to know if it is possible to gain access to this phone without wiping it?
I've been surfing the net for hours and hours, trying to find a solution and i still don't know if this is even possible.
Thank you in advance.

hi guys...i come with some sad news...the phone which i lust over for months since it came out and i recently bought was stolen this week is there anyway to recover it... i have both the IMEI # and the S\N # documented is there a company that can tell you what sim card is currently been used in the phone??
your advice would be greatly appreciated
Wow, that sucks! Good luck!
My AT&T 8525 (TYTN) was stolen in my own home during a house party (We patted down everyone, it was missing, i swear the guys who we know did it must have hid it up their @$$) - only had the phone for about 3 months before it was stolen.
I called AT&T and had them do their thing, but nothing ever came out of that. I really don't know what to say, if you have insurance on the phone, get a police report!
Otherwise, i too would like to know what can be done (at least as precaution before hand)
sorry for your lost as well...i know they are apps out that that sends SMS to another cell phone...but..suppose if the crook does a factory reset which wipes off the app...i must say thou i would like modders to create a rom thats has a security app builtin into it...
also i was thinking is there a company online that tracks phone worldwide? i mean like it they will be able to tell u what sim card is currently in the phone??
I bought a Vodafone UK network locked S7 on eBay thinking it would be as easy as installing something in the TWRP or similar to unlock it, which I think was possible with my S1. I imagined that Android unlocking was not difficult and could even be done with installing an app.
It seems this is not the case(?) and I am wondering if someone can point me to some reputable sites for this, or another way to achieve this via flashing etc?
If it is not possible to post links on here, then please PM me with the sites. Obviously, I will just ignore recommendations from members that have just joined or have 0 posts/lack of sufficient history on XDA!
Ok, well I managed to chance it and use AndroidSimUnlock which only cost me £14.10! I figured it wasn't a great amount to lose if they were dodgy...but they provided all 3 lock codes within about 4hrs!
They are over $5-15 cheaper than any other service I found online and I will have to recommend them, if only for the price and the time they took to give it to me!
Now I can use it instead of my LG G3...but tbh, I love my G3, it's a beautiful device - even more than the S7 - sleeker, more unibodied and clean looking....I am going to be sad to give it up..but I am going on a long trip and needed a smaller and water resistant device...tbh, the s7 is not really that smaller than the G3 when a case is put on!
Can you explain the warning from Google?
The certificate is not for this domain. Use

or

You're lucky. They're charging me £ 37 for my Galaxy S7!
Aren't they all unlocked anymore?
No the Sprint version which I have is not unlocked for any carrier and it sucks cause I baught it under the impression I could use it on my att plan so now I'm scrambling to try to figure out a good affective way to unlock the network
Hey guys, So I purchased a S7 on ebay after clearing the IMEI through Verizon's Fraud Department. I then made sure the Imei matched the Original Phone Box, Receipt and back glass. All was well so I was happy with the purchase. It had a broken front screen and I went through the repair and fixed it!
Was really happy to save money by repairing an S7.
Only issue is what I have no learned to be FRP. She reset the phone before sending it to me which is completely understandable.
I've emailed her in ebay about it and she said she would get back to me with the gmail account but hasn't responded regarding giving me the password.
I fully understand and don't expect her to give me their password. That's a bit ridiculous of me to expect that. All I want is the clean clear phone I bought from her and be able to use it.
So A few things, Im not just here for this. I also want to get into rooting which is why I registered, I hope to be of help in the future as I learn more and more about getting those
terrible factory apps and stuff that comes from verizon.
1. Which is the best method about doing an FRP Bypass. I see people on ebay that will do it for like 20 bucks remotely over team view. Others send a usb drive.
2. I absolutely can provide proof of purchase through screen shots on ebay, as well as the item number to show you who bought it. (Same Username of course)
I totally understand frp is to prevent theft, which is great. It just sucks that the owner didn't know she was selling me her locked phone. Shes the original owner. She didn't have insurance so when she broke the screen she had to buy a new one and thats why she sold this one on ebay. She's been super helpful and nice
as we exchange emails on ebay. But short of driving 5 hrs each way to meet in person frp bypass is my only option. I gave her the option of me driving there, I would spend the time/gas to meet at her local verizon store so i dont have to do this mess.
I did attemp a frp bypass on albviral but I must have done it wrong, and it seemed a bit complicated. Again, I can provide proof that I did not steal this phone. Whatever I need to do to
not lose even more money from the purchase and repair.
If any help, I'd be super appreciated.
thanks
Well they changed their password because she couldn't remember it so I can only assume theres a 24hr lock out period or something. It wont log in. And even using a recovery email and her sending me the verify code it wont let us into the phone.
Update:
Lady changed their google password and it still wont log in. I tried clicking forgot and it sent a code to the recovery email which she logged in, got and sent me.
After I tried that it just kept kicking me back to the start of frp by saying "Log in using an account that was synced to this device" and taking me to a screen to put in the gmail.
When I try random passwords it says wrong password. But when I try the one she made today it just kicks back. 24hr period? I really hope that's all it is.
I even put in their names to confirm account and it kicks me back saying that isnt correct. She said he can't remember anything and has to get new passwords all the time much less knowing what was used when they orginally go the phone. So I guess i'll try in 24hrs and if not then I'll try someone on ebay? idk.
Flash an older firmware with ODIN that has an FRP bypass tutorial on YT
It's been done. Now I get a security notice that unauthorized changes have been detected, restart phone to undo.
Obviously im not going to do that but will it ever go away.
I'll shortly install sim card and activate phone. I appreciate the help.
Now for me to research rooting!
Wow this is terrible. The prev. owner called verizon tech support and had the phone cleared off her account but it still won't let us activate it. They said wait 24hrs and see if that takes care of
it and if not then the phone is useless. Doesnt even make sense that the original owner contacted them, cleared her and the phone and still may not be usable.
Alrighty, all is fixed and new sim card and im activated and everything. It wants to update to 7.0 but im hesitant to do it.
Updated to 7.0 nagout. All is well. There's an additional
System update that includes some security measures.
Since updating to 7.0 went smoothly I guess I'll go ahead with the additional system update.
Glad you got it working!
Thanks! This newest security system update has me a little worried but I guess I'd the 7.0 update went fine I shouldn't be worried about it. Having done the rep bypass just has me on edge even tho the original owner is great and told tech support it was hers to clear it and let me have it and all.
I still want to look into rooting, there's just a bunch of junk on here. Even games! I don't use it for games.
Hello there,
My dad uses a LG L90 D410. He is 70+ and he has no technical info on how to use the phone except to make calls, sms and watch movies on SD card and he doesn't have gprs/3g activated as well. He wanted to upgrade the firmware phone which he purchased in 2015 and he is did it when i was not at home. And that resulted in a boot cert verify loop.
Every time he boots up the phone it ends up as
Boot certification verify
Secure booting Error!
Cause: boot certification verify
This phone is not important but the data is. It has all the photo of mom who happen to pass away 2 years back.
I can hard reset the phone.
But is there any way to recover the photos, sms and also back up the phone numbers without doing a hard reset?
I can get an decent money phone for my dad, but my mom's photo and memories who is dead? i cant.
one plus 5 8 gb/128 gb - 38,000
dual sim - airtel 600/month/card
loosing mom's photo who is dead and never going to come back? - PRICELESS.
there are some things which money cant buy for everything else there are other many things.
So can someone or anyone tell me how to recover the photos and sms and phonebook will be literally the biggest help of my life.
thanks in advance.

I repeat i am not looking for how to hard reset, i am looking for a method to extract mom's photos and sms back. She sent those to dad when she was alive. So kindly only let me know how to recover those if possible at all. Just the photos of mom and smses she sent to dad. phone book optional.

its 3 am now india time and what a bad day, i tried to fix it since 2 pm.
Good evening all, hope you are all having a happy holidays. I recently received a samsung galaxy tab active 2 (sm-t390), before I had the seller reset it, I made sure there wasnt a google account hooked up to it, he reset it and I went on my way, excited to play with my new purchase. When I get home, and try to get it through start up, when I get to the wifi screen, it tells me "Unable to sign into wifi ap An unauthorized factory Reset has been preformed on this device The sign in screen cannot be accessed. I talked to one of my friends about this, he said that I may need some kind of combination software for 7.1.2 but couldn't offer me any more advice. While I am not a professional, i used to repair smart phones and tablets and computers, and sometimes would have to reprogram a computer or ps4, so I have some general knowledge but if anyone could please explain a little better what I need to do to get this thing working again? It was supposed to be a gift for the wife and now it's late. Thank you in advance.
Sounds like you need to download kies and do an emergency recovery. I would at least start there.
