Android auto - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Questions & Answers

I factory reset my phone less than 24 hours ago and android auto was working fine prior to that. I go in to my car today and android auto is glitchy. I am able to choose android auto on my car's head unit and then it closes. I have uninstalled android auto, clear data and cache, and reset my phone. Any further advice? Thanks in advance

bluetooth will not turn on (focus s)

for some reason my bluetooth stopped working. when i turn it on, it will search then immediately turn off.
i've rebooted, pulled the battery, updated to 7740, then updated to 8107 and still no go.
any ideas short of a factory reset? i really do not want lose all my data.
this obviously is an issue with something in my data.
i did a backup, then factory reset, bluetooth worked. i restored data, bluetooth didn't work. i factory reset again, then just resynced and reinstalled apps manually, bluetooth is working.
oh well, guess i get to start over with all my games again.

[Q] Sound (Music Issues)

I recently purchased a SM-P905V. Everything was working perfectly fine, I rooted about a week ago and everything was working well after that as well. Yesterday I went to use Slacker Radio and all music and sound function stopped working. After playing around a bit I found that after I restart the tablet, whenever I try to play music in ANY music app (streaming OR mp3) all sounds would stop functioning and even the Sounds section in settings would freeze when I went to select it. Up until that point all regular sounds (system, Youtube, most apps) work perfectly fine but then they stop as well and the system becomes incredibly unstable.
Things I've already tried:
- Uninstalling every App since rooting
- Uninstalling every other app not built in
- Clearing the cache
- Factory Reset
- Unrooting and then Factory Reset
- Factory Resetting and starting with a clean/new Google account (in case it was a setting or something that was backed up to my account)
Does anyone have any clue how else I might fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Help with gps and process killing

Hi,
on my honor 6 H60-L04 C432B860 with Android 6.0 i'm experiencing two bad issues.
- google maps and other gps app (such endomondo or oruxmaps) only fix the position after that I reboot of the device (after a long stand by the don't fix the position)
- apps close automatically after 1 ore even if i tryed all the things suggested in this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/help/background-processes-killed-lollipop-t3187751)
Any advice?
thank you
Andrea
a factory reset fixed this for me. gps is inaccurate sometimes and setting protected apps in phone manager doesnt work. check around for other solutions first before the reset
I would test it with sensors multitool to see if GPS is working fine.
If not, I would backup (native Huawei backup app), factory reset and restore.
I did the factory reset twice bud didn't work!
should i try with a stock rom?
thank you

If I clear Wear OS data and cache will I unlink all paired smartwatches.

All,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that is paired with LG Watch Sport, Fossil Q Explorist, and LG Urbane 2. I recently acquired a Huawei Watch 2. Despite everything I tried (except clearing data), I cannot get it to complete set up on the Note 8. I have read that I should clear cache AND data in Wear OS app. I am hesitant to do this for fear of losing my pairing to the other smartwatches that work just fine. Does anyone know if I will mess things up if I clear the data under Wear OS app?
TIA
Well I tried this suggestion: Apps->Google Play Services->Stprage->Clear Cache->, then Manage Space->Manage Wearable Storage->Clear Now. Then went to Wear OS app under Apps and cleared cache, rebooted and tried again and it worked but unfortunately all my other smartwatches are gone from Wear OS app, but not Bluetooth under Settings. I am not home to see if they will reconnect to Wear OS, hopefully they will.

I will have to setup ALL of the other smartwatches. But I will use this link to avoid having to factory reset and lose all my settings: https://www.xda-developers.com/pair-android-wear-without-factory-reset/

No Sleep Data in July GT2

I haven't had any sleep data since July except for some incorrect nap readings for full night's sleep. The watch shows I have slept but the phone app doesn't show anything. I have the latest version and I don't want to do a factory reset. Any suggestions?
Same here. I tried with factory reset, reinstalling Health app, updating HMS, uninstalling HMS and installing Wear OS, uninstalling both, unlinking Google Fit, linking the watch to two other phones, erasing all cloud data associated to the account.
The watch itself shows sleep data. Recently it started syncing no data at all, except hearthbeats.
Sent it to Huawei support, they returned it as "cannot reproduce".
Same here. Huawei Health version 10.1.1610. Device Huawei Watch GT 2e version 1.0.3.20. Still having problem sync data at least once every week.
Most of the days they work, some day failed. Not so consistent and reliable communication between device & gsm.
