Has anyone tried Xposed on Oreo yet?

It works, but I use only flat style bar indicators, gravity box and dtn disabler, and only the dtn disabler works. Modules need to be updated to suit Oreo. Playstore randomly force closes (once or twice in a few hours so far), but hey it works, thats the main thing.

are others flat style's modules work perfectly fine in oreo? i wanna flash xposed for oreo, but if the modules are not supported, i will cancel to flash it for a moment.

No idea mate, PBMC (physical button music control) works too. Its an module for using the volume rocker and camera as skip and play when screen is off. Winning.

gravitybox is the most important module that adds usability to android devices.
would be extremely nice to have it work

Hide developer settings

Hi!
Just wondering can we hide Developer settings from an banking app detecting it?
So is there a way to hide the settings and still use them? If I disable the settings, USB debugging etc. won't be able...

Never heard of developer settings causing a banking app from working. Usually it's root that causes it and hiding Magisk from the banking app works. I'm using chase mobile and discover mobile apps and all I did before opening them the first time is hide Magisk from them and then they just worked.
Which apps are you having troubles with?

The Bank Of America app comes up when launching saying you have Developer Mode on and it recommends to turn it off. Saying that, you can just dismiss it and it goes away for a couple of weeks. I have Chase, Citi and American Express and they don't do anything. That's my experience anyway.

The BoA app is hidden in Magisk. I think Magisk is hiding the Root/Unlocked Bootloader from this Bank of America app. But the BoA App alerts me that I'm a Developer, so I dismiss it & continue my banking.

No no no!
It is actually the developer settings, when enabled, preventing Pivo app from starting!
Pivo is part of my banking app here in Finland.
If I am unrooted and full stock, when developer settings enabled, app is not working.

Wrong

Not sure if it'll help, but may be worth a shot. Kill bank app app and clear storage of the banking app. Before starting it back up, go to Magisk hide and hide it, then try again.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.accelf.devoptshide It just got released this app with edxposed framework will hide any forms of detection of enabled developer options, so glad it got launched.

Fortnite still detects i have usb debugging enabled ;(( also on my x3 pro

DevOptsHide shows my app as "On denylist"

Indian banks are also doing the same now. Stopping when detecting Developer options and USB Debugging etc.

Magisk modules don't work?

Hey guys,
i only installed two mods, YT Vanced and OOS (Enable Native Call Recording).
I checked in the .Magisk folder and both of them have folders.
1. for Vanced, i couldn't find the old "Delete updates" button in settings, so i disabled auto-updates in store, cleared all storage and disabled it. after enable, still normal Youtube.
2. for OOS i didn't do anything else, according to documentation the "Call recording" menu item is supposed to appear as far as i understand, but nothing.
can anyone please assist?

For problem 1) you need to go to settings->apps&notifications->app info-> scroll to youtube -> click the top right corner 3 button menu -> uninstall update -> voila! youtube vanced. For problem 2) no idea... haven't tried that module..

How To Guide How-To Enable Two-Button Navigation on the OnePlus 9 with Android 11!

Hey friends! I don't know about you guys, but I really dislike the latest implementation of Gesture Navigation and the old 3-Button Navigation bar makes me feel like I'm stuck back on Ice Cream Sandwich! It made me really sad when Google forced all the OEMs to ditch 2-Button Navigation. Fortunately, we can now get it back! Even on Android 11!!
You will need USB Debugging enabled on your phone and ADB installed on your computer. You will also need your phone to be rooted with the latest version of Magisk installed.
It's a super easy process and all it takes is installing one Magisk module and an ADB command. I've created two versions of the module, one with the standard height nav bar and another with a shorter one that takes up less space on the display. After installing the module, all you have to do is go into ADB and run this command.
adb shell cmd overlay enable com.android.internal.systemui.navbar.twobutton

It's the best! You have a Back button and a Home button. To get Recents, you swipe up on the Home button. If you want to quick switch between apps, just swipe right or left on the Nav Bar.

It was available on the Pixel 3 but the official name was "2-Button Navigation".
Some OEMs, like OnePlus, included it in their Android 9 implementations but then they were supposed to phase it out with Android 10. OnePlus left the app in place but hid the menu option to enable it, so you would enable it with ADB. With Android 11, OnePlus took it out completely. The Magisk module adds it back so you can activate it via ADB.

Question How to remove the nav bar since Immersive Magisk Module doesn't work anymore?

The only reason I root is to remove the nav bar and the wasted black space on the screen. Just got my P7P, rooted, and low and behold, the immsersive mode magisk module does not work on a 64-bit only system. Does anyone know of another magisk module (or another method) to go immersive mode? Thanks!

[Solved] OnePlus back gestures on Pixel 7 Pro?
Is there anyway to customize the back gesture for the Pixel 7 Pro? I hate the fact that by default, the back gesture is to swipe in from the left and right side of the screen. This interferes with hamburger menus in every app where swiping in...

AOSP Mods module will do the trick for you. Works great and removes the space between keyboard. Main reason I root as well

You actually can install it. Just download the module directly from the GitHub and install the zip through Magisk directly. Not sure why but that worked for me. Good workaround while they fix the regular update route.
