Went on a googlehunt for N1 leather cases today and finally hit on something I liked.
It's called the "Flip Down Type (Black) Ver.2" (my account is still too new to link, but carrymobile-dot-com site has cases for the N1).
I was going to ask for opinions but decided to go ahead and order it, $28 and free shipping seems inexpensive enough to make the leap-of-faith.

I got notification that it was shipped on Jan 21st, I checked the tracking number given and it wasn't actually sent to the HK post office until Jan 23rd and as of today, Feb 5th I still don't have it!
It's still early yet and the mail hasn't arrived. If the package isn't here today, I'll be contacting Carrymobile to see what the heck happened (their site states 7 to 10 business days for delivery).

I ordered my dock on 1/5/2011, so I guess that I shouldn't expect anything soon.
It looks as if they are using drop shipping for the docks. They must wait until they get enough orders to get a volume discount from the supplier. Then the supplier ships them to the individual buyer. They don't even touch the docks, but handle the sale and make a profit.
I'm with the group who got emails for the 26th. I wonder where they are now. I keep hoping to see another update.

I ordered mine dock on 1/3/11, order was processed and my card was charged on 1/5/11; got 2 emails to confirm that.
Since then, two + weeks later, their web site states: Order Processing(?)
No response to two of my emails, no one picks up their phone, goes to VM rightaway and no calls back from them.
Was anybody able to speak to a live person there or gotten a response to their emails?
I am sorry to hear about everyone's troubles with receiving the dock. It sucks when you pay for something and then having to wait for what seems like forever.
If you guys get tired of waiting for the one you've already paid for from this company, there are a couple of guys in the gTab forums that have ordered in bulk and are sitting on some right now. And, at least one of them ships the same day he gets the payment.
Just thought this was worth mentioning.

I ordered 2 docks from MeriMobiles on the 26th of December as well. I sent them an e-mail last week for an update and finally received a response today. I also finally received a tracking number that the package was shipped on the 15th but that it could take 10 - 14 days to receive.
I wonder how much business this company has lost due to its lousy customer service. I was going to file a dispute with Paypal if I hadn't heard something by tomorrow.

Thought I'd post a little seller review for CellularAccessory.com where I have placed an order for the Otterbox Commuter case for my HTC Inspire 4G.
I placed the order back on April 21st. I ran across this site while using Google's shopping link when looking for one of these. They had it for the best price at the time for $20.95 w/ $3 s/h. Thought I was getting a decent deal at the time. (Shipping via USPS, probably not the best decision in hindsight.)
Their website indicated it was in stock.
I placed the order that night, got an email the next day on April 22nd that the order went through, indicating that it had an estimated ship date of April 22nd (Friday). No tracking number in this email, I expected one the same day or possibly even the following Monday. Still haven't received an updated email with this information.
Today is May 1st and I have yet to receive the case nor an update email from them.
I obviously will be calling them tomorrow morning to inquire about my purchase, but in hindsight, I would have spent the typical extra $10 (most sites sell this case for $30) to have gotten this case in a timely fashion.
Regardless if this thing shows up from them tomorrow or not, I will not be doing business with this seller again.

The same thing happened to me. on the site it said in stock and my follow up email stated back ordered will ship in 1-2 weeks. I wrote an email back stating that if it wasn't in stock then I would like a refund. I never got a response. When I checked my paypal account the ammount had been taken out. If I don't get it this week I will be contacting them on this matter. They will take care of it.
They sent me a reply and stated that it was clearly marked as backordered. BS, I would have never ordered it. I'm done with them.

I pre-ordered one too sick of spending $1000 or more and I really do not need bleeding edge speed "and no 5G which is not going to be a big deal for years"
It will do everything say a Samsung S20 can do "maybe slower" but at a third of the price.
Also I am looking forward to 3 years of instant updates.

Nice, might actually have some good support here instead of kang roms with no source posted. I'll do what I can for device bringup and such, should be way easier on here compared to oneplus devices.
Man, this might very well be the most exciting Android (or just Google specifically) smartphone since the Nexus 4 era. Aside from the somewhat worrying battery capacity this just looks like an absolute musthave of a device

I received an email 2 days ago with an estimated arrival date of the 24th. As the OP, I ordered my phone at 6am on the 3rd so I would think I was near the front of the line. My account also shows that it has not yet shipped, but will arrive by 8pm on the 24th.
I would more than likely contact Amazon so that you know if you need to jump to the play store. Sorry to hear about the annoying Amazon shipping challenges.
I ordered from the Google Store on the 3rd and it shows my delivery date as August 18-19...

I think they'll send an email when they ship it. Just got the email they're sending the trade-in kit. I selected expedited shipping so I should get the phone by September 11th

I am living in Europe. I can't purchase the device directly from US Play store. I had only one option to order it from Amazon US. I also paid around 120 US dollars extra for AmazonGlobal Priority shipping and Import Fees deposit. I ordered my phone at 4 Aug 2020, 22:48pm. Yesterday I ordered a Spigen case for Pixel 4a arriving date is August 24 -Tuesday, September 1.
Amazon US haven't charged me yet. So I am hoping to receive something about Pixel 4a from Amazon. ?

Amazon doesn't charge until an item ships. The pre-order date in the US at the time I ordered was Aug 24. It's unclear whether that is Amazon's ship date or the date I should receive it since Google is releasing it on Aug 20. I expect to actually have the phone in hand as late as Aug 26. It doesn't matter to me when I get it. It's useless to me until TWRP is available.
So looks like there is hope if you pre-ordered from Google early it may be delivered earlier than the 20th... keeping fingers crossed.
I ordered from Amazon for the 5% credit I get on purchases with their credit card and the 30 day return policy, not that I plan on returning it, but still. I also got the 24th as a delivery date but I bet it will be before that. I think I remember Amazon shipping phones before Google in the past but not sure about that. It would be nice if they shipped early, we've been waiting for this thing for half a freakin' year! It's gonna be a good phone.
Received updated email from AMZ this morning. Delivery date of Aug 24. I suspect they may use UPS for these, and they don't deliver on weekends for 2-day.
I have heard Samsung previously shipping pre-orders earlier then release date.

Launch day is 21st August (certainly in the UK and US) they usually ship by courier the previous day, so expect a tracking number on the 20th.
Samsung used to release it a day earlier (and a week earlier in the distant past) if you ordered direct from them, but I haven't seen this being the case for a long time now.
In the USA, they use FedEx. If you create a FedEx account you can monitor inbound shipments.
Usually, you will find these pending well ahead of release. Accessories are usually 1 pound and the phone 2 pounds.
Also when reserving with a credit card there is usually a hold upon preordering. Make sure you see this AND check your order status within 24 hours. If the card rejects the hold for any reason, (Samsung) will CANCEL your order. This happened to me because I used an expired card. (duh) I did not check to find the order CANCELED until a few days later and the shipping date slipped. This was the S20 Ultra. I don't think these phones are going to sell out that fast (or at all) you know with what's going on in the world, right?
In any case, usually these FedEx shipments show up early. Typically they will start moving right around when the charge is placed on the card. When a shipper creates a shipment in their system and it posts to FedEx you will see it even though no package has been shipped. It just shows something is going on with your order. Sometimes you will see several tracking numbers with some getting canceled. Perfectly normal.
I suspect some activity by mid week (this week) and movement by the time next weekend is over. Some may get theirs a day or two early.
Apple likes to troll users by handing packages off to the courier with instructions NOT to deliver before (release date). So you see it scheduled for delivery on a Tuesday (release day Friday in this example) and when Tuesday comes the tracking is updated with instructions to hold until Friday. I hate that!
My LED wallet case already shipped and is supposed to arrive today. I had a pending charge on my CC that disappeared yesterday. I called CS and was told the order is still moving forward, but I am checking Order Status on Sammy's website every day. I'll probably see the charge back on the CC before I get the FedEx shipping notice.

My case shipped from Irving , Tx. Not sure where the Ultra will originate. Where do Canada orders originate for shipping?
Samsung ships all orders for Canada from Ontario and BC, you never know where your order will come from.

My emailed receipt is date 8/5 at 12:30 pm but it has no estimated ship date that I can see. When I check Samsung Shop on my phone, it says ships by 8/19.
i received a shipping notice from FedEx on 8/11, with an expected shipping date and delivery date of Aug 17 and Aug 19, respectively. FYI, i verified this notice is tied to my pre-order number issued by Samsung. All of this is subject to change until the device is physically shipped. (the Samsung shipping location is 8.5 miles and 16 minutes from my home. . in the past, items from that location have arrived next day and other 2 days later).
My FedEx account is now showing a shipment from Samsung to be delivered on the 19th from Coppell. 4lb box so I guess it will be with the extra items I ordered with the preorder bonus.
I just ordered mine yesterday, so my order is still "created" not processed. But it still shows an expected ship date of August 19th.
I know last year I got my Note 10+ a day early. Hopefully this one arrives a day or two early as well, but who knows. As long as I receive it on the 21st, I'll be happy.

FedEx says ship 17th, arrival on 19th. From past experience, how accurate is that? I need to juggle my schedule round to WFH that day in order to sign for the phone. Just want to make sure that will indeed be THE day before I go to the trouble! (shipping from TX, am in PA, if it matters)

You can redirect pickup to work or other places like Walgreens.
I've done that with Walgreens before, just stop by, show ID and they pull it out of a locker and had it to you.
Takes the guessing game out of it and when you get home you have it in hand.

I'm already feeling sick on Wednesday lol
For T-mobile I have pre-ordered the S series phone and this is the first note. Typically we would see cards charged Thirsday the week before release. Then Friday and Saturday they stage for shipping and let phones go to UPS on Monday. Sometimes I would get delivery on Tuesday but usually would be Wednesday before release. There shipping facility is out of Kentucky and you can pretty much map the route using flight aware to determine what flight it will take.
Just got my watch 3 delivered. I still won't be home till next weekend. Phone still shows estimated ship on 17th with delivery on 19th. Based on weight (4lbs) I am thinking the buds live, case, and UV sanitizer are with it as well.
My Ultra 5G will be delivered on or before the 29th of August 2020 as per my telco provider. This will be my second version of the Note and my second time using a Samsung mobile phone. My last Galaxy Notes were the Note 2.
