sure, but it looks like your system/mcu is pretty brand new. app is older, but that matters a bit less.
read up https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...unisoc-ums512-q-a-mods-tips-firmware.4396339/
especially the 2nd post.
really, the largest improvements were wireless android auto (available late summer last year), and widevine l3 support (april this year). Bunch of various bugfixes along the way, but you should have them all, except for the allappupdate from last october

Hello thanks for getting back to me.
That's good to hear, I currently have wired android auto and would like the wireless version. Would it be as simple as updating the apk file, or is it possible to flash the allappupdate package?
Thank you

I'm looking to buy one tomorrow but I'd like to know if the updates are coming straight from Google or from Motorola?
I dont want to have the same frustrating experience as with my Milestone so this is definitely a deal breaker for me.
I searched on google and all I found were old january posts speculating about this subject.
Thanks!

i think today google announced..or something that you will have like 18months of updates on all honeycomb +, i guess its a good bet on the xoom. Sorry about my english
It is absolutely a Google Experience tablet. It is the device which Android developers are developing the platform on. The update 3.1 was released by Google today and I'm already running it on my WiFi Xoom.
seeem to be on their website http://www.google.com/phone/detail/motorola-xoom-with-wi-fi with the

Yeah it's the honeycomb tester.. can't get much more google xp than that.
and theres definitely no moto bloat to worry about
US version ONLY. Non-US version will be different story.at least for UK version, They have different firmware and even have some kind of MotoBulr service on it.Also the Android Build number look like totally differnet than vanilla HC.
Check your updates. Let's see if it improves anything!

On Edge of Galaxy
original battery is model HE323. This one spotted on chinese market is HE360 and has different elongated shape:

Since I've never opened my Essential, I'm not sure of the original battery size. I do remember seeing just the shorter version (HE323) in most videos. There's a seller who's selling HE360 on AliExpress as for the Essential, though.
https://www.aliexpress.com/i/33038838118.html
according to ifixit
https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Essential+Phone+Teardown/96764
original battery is smaller and different shape, with code HE323.
So the elongated HE360 might be for new essential model. However that would be still small battery with<3200mah capacity. It means the form factor and screen probably would stay small ( thats good, i like the size ). I'm waiting patiently and using PH-1 since 2 years
There are 2 (possibly 3) dates on that - all of which pre-date the announcement that the PH-2 had been canceled.
Well, let's see what Rubin's mystery "announcement" later this year (next month?) is all about.
Just started to rollout in Poland few minutes ago
https://xpericheck.com/device/J9110
But still I do not have it.
Just got it, US model. Downloading now
UPDATE: It's Android 10
New update released for RU region too
US model, Android 10 confirmed
Is there finally 21:9 mode in main camera? 4k stabilisation fix? Vivid mode? How's battery life? Can u select main home screen? Volume rocker controls phone loudness instead of media? Anything new added from Sony or just copy paste from Google?

I do not have it either. Moreover I am still on October security patch and we are in December. The software treatment of this device is horrible...
Last update was almost 2 months ago. And we are talking just about security patch that is nothing but copy paste from google as security patches are made by google, not sony itself...this device has no software support from sony. No new features and improvements. Probably my last sony device after they removed sony album app.

I switched to another thread
Does anyone know what RAM Plus is?
The answer is here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/october-update-and-ram-plus.4359995/
Yeah the update is great! Phone feels just a tad smoother. Battery life seems to be a bit better too!

Its supposed to, doesn't have a reason to not work.
I had an unusual experience ... I wrote about it here:
October update India CSC, not certified from Google?
A strange thing happened to me: I received an automatic update yesterday. Everything went normally, everything worked normally. Later in the store I saw that Google Pay does not allow payment because firmware is Root (it is not) or illegal...

I went back to the September update and everything works normally ...
