Thanks for your work bro.

Downloading and flashing now... will report back later on experience and thank you!

Make a clean start, before you install your gapps. Got stuck in the start screen when I flashed all at once

Flashed o last c62 without gapps and the screen doesnt work. The touchscreen dont work.

for me only CrDroid Home is crashing, but I can switch to Pixel Launcher and it works for me now..

Successfully flashed over from Lineage 19, running C.62 both slots before that. Checking it out now. Thanks!

Yeah even crdroid is working for me after a reset of settings in system.. One thing I notice is display color bug. Whatever I chose, the colors dont seem to change. Can I manually change them? Nameless had a slider for RGB

I flashed Gapps and still had same issue with touchscreen. Used the buttons to force boot it into fastboot mode then start it and touchscreen was still not responding. Forced it into fastboot again and reflashed rom and now it's working but have no Gapps. Wondering if the Gapps is what did it or ??? Still playing around yet but holy cats I don't have to wait for Evolution X now anymore because this has just as much if not more customization options... THANK YOU!!!

Don't use full gapps or if you do, don't install pixel launcher as it replaced core crDroid home stuff resulting in crashes
Also do try crDroid home
Imo is a good launcher

If you already got a custom recovery (TWRP for example) installed, you can skip this step.
1. Download the vendor file from here and the Evolution ROM from here.
2. Boot into TWRP Recovery.
3. Flash the vendor file.
4. Wipe cache and dalvik
5. Flash the Evolution ROM.
6. Format Data, be sure you format data and not just wipe.
7. Reboot to recovery.
The step to Format Data is necessary in some cases where you come from a different ROM which does have a different file system.

The camera doesn't seem to work at all. Google Camera is installed as a system app and in the play store an update is available.
However when I try to install the update, it fails everytime. Also installing the apk fails everytime.

disable the google camera system app and install a modded version from here. most of them work but i find BSG to be the best. if you want an open source camera there are some on the play store and maybe on fdroid. i will try to include a working camera like snap cam on a future build.
After clean ROM, recovery and firmware flash, fingerprint unlock is not working, it's saying "Hold a little longer" even though I holding it all the time. Rest looks smooth and stable, SafetyNet, L1, all cameras (BSG version here) too.

1- Cameras, are both working OK?
2- Fingerprint, does it work with screen off?
3- Features, does it have "lift to wake" and "long press on volume buttons to switch music tracks"?
Thanks!

I'm very pleased with this ROM. Thank you!
I came from ArrowOS 11.0 and did a dirty flash; without wiping cache/dalvik. I installed ArrowOS with Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip and did that again on this Rom. The only thing I would like is to get rid off that horizontal line at the bottom of the screen. You can see it at the picture. Anyone an idea? Thanks!

Do you have a particular gapps that would work, tried nikgapps and mindthegapps both failed . Or it could be just my phone too, Thanks
I don't see wide angle support. Do all the cameras work?
Hell yeah! I was able to extract the boot.img from the rom and flash it and use to sideload and worked fine for me. Glad to see a LOS19 build here!!
I normally use open gapps and i tried using a few older packages and didn't work. I'll go after a few more and try if i cant find anythingt that works ill try and make some work and report back later.

it is 12l.
Mind the gapps worked for me from here: https://www.xda-developers.com/download-google-apps-gapps/
reboot recovery after sideloading rom and sideload mindthegapps
edited update: Mindthegapps flashed fine but i had some issues setting upwith adding my account and a scvreen lock right away. Ended up having to wipe again and blow through setup without adding my account or a screen lock. If you use these apps just dont set a pw or restore or sign in to your account right away.. Skip all that.. That's what i did and I added my acoount after i skipped initial setup and all is seems fine.
Its enforcing in case anyone else was wondering..
For what its worth I used Nikgapps S from
https://sourceforge.net/projects/nikgapps/files/Releases/NikGapps-S/22-Feb-2022/
So far so good,, My Install sequence below
Flash boot.img in fastboot
Boot to recovery
Format in recovery
Install ROM in recovery adb sideload
Reboot recovery
Install gapps adb sideload
Format in recovery
Boot to system
If root is needed setup ROM then boot to fastboot flash magisk patched boot.img and then reboot
How is the battery backup on this ROM? Also are there any stutters in any of the animations when Refresh rate is set to 90Hz?
Tempting. I wonder how far away the official 19.1 release is...

I haven't noticed any stutters. To me this seems even smoother than anything prior to it.. Battery seems about normal to me as other roms but my battery isn't great anyway due to wear over time and whoever owned my device before me over charging it. This is a very nice build though! Try it.

Official 19.1 is probably still a ways away i'd think. No issues on my end with this 19.1 build. Stable and all around a really good build.

So after some more time with this setup, I've found that Android Auto is broken and the Google now home screen won't open links on Rootless pixel launcher. Going to experiment with a different Gapps tomorrow.
EDIT: Android Auto is working fine now. Used NikGapps core, flashed the AA add-on, and had to manually enable permissions in AA app settings after attempting initial setup. Before that it just "disconnected" repeatedly from the car.
Google Now home screen link issues seems to be an A12 problem. I switched back to Trebuchet (which is actually a pretty decent launcher) enabled Google Feed there, and everything works fine.
Only outstanding issue is that the alert slider does not seem to work. Not a giant deal to me.
Nice job on this rom. I'm not a big fan of the A12 design choices, but that's not OP's fault.

yeah I've seen in my other threads also )
should be fixed now
I tried to sideload GoogleSearch to get hey google but now I'm getting "Check your internet connection and try again" when I press unlock more assistant features.
Edit: GoogleSearch worked fine in android 12.
Forget about it I found the problem. Don't know why google setting were disable but after enabling, everything works.
Does this oos cam support slowmotion and h265 video rec ?
"Long press on fingerprint sensor to unlock phone" seems to be broken. It's turning off automatically when I try to turn it on.
Navigation with hand gestures disappears after 1 day!
Thank you for this amazing rom! I recommend using Msm tool (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-for-indian-variant-flashing-as-well.4454357/ and see this video for further help
) if you are coming from Derp android 12 rom like I was. Everything works great, even the oos camera. Unlimited google photos upload works perfectly. I am also passing safetynet and play store settings check after following the youtube video titled SafetyNet ByPass & CTS Profile False Fix, and this is with Magisk 25.2 zip installed after first boot. I think the creator posts a lot on xda if I remember correctly.

The ROM is really smooth and stable. Big thumb up.
The only problem I ran into is that the kernel doesn't seem to support Network Signal Guru. Any idea? crDroid 8 worked fine with NSG.

It's not entirely rom based, if you're talking about an app they probably haven't Updated there app yet to 13. Lots of errors still occur on 13 based ROMs .

Thanks for the Nov 18, 2022 Build. It works fine. However, I did have a problem with the boot-20221118.img file.
It just hangs & do not boot to recovery on my LE2115. I had to go back to the Nov 11, 2022 boot-20221111.img file to boot to recovery & install the new 11/18 ROM.

Same
for anyone using the latest update... DO NOT USE SMART LOCK! when you try to unlock using the normal pattern the system crashes and resets and you are stuck in an infinite loop. if you do manage to unlock it by some miracle and you try to go to settings and undo that smart lock huge mistake or change/disable the screen lock completely settings will crash so you ll still be stuck. do not use google remote lock as i did as that locks it forever, the brain dead people working for google removed the feature of remote unlock

Is it by desgin that the cdDroid ROM defaults to Sound in Do Not Disturb mode?
It not a problem to simply toggle the sound on. I was just wondering since on all of the upgrades the sound has been set back to Do Not Disturb mode.

It might work, but stick with OP steps, those 110% WORK, but up to you. I gave up on TWRP when A/B partitions came out and chose to just stick with and use stock ROM recovery. That will always work, TWRP, maybe not so much, IDK, it might, but you wont get the same type of help if you choose your own path (TWRP).
Also, just an FYI on nomenclature, this isn't firmware, but ROM, firmware contains all partitions, drivers, ETC., this is just the OS (ROM).
Thank good bro. Please you can create a version same this version V9, but face id use camera, same same this version 7.2 so you made ( https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=333516). Because i not enough money to buy the normal 4xl, i just enough to buy one no face id. Thank you for your time

Interesting, this is new to me (unable to scan face for a PX4), what type of pixel 4 XL is it then? Or are there hardware issues I missed? I cant comment on this fix (I am not the dev here) but I might be able to help you once I know the scope of work.
@putzwon, I have used this OS (ROM) since Friday, and thoroughly testing EVERYTHING! WOW, I am literally floored at how well EVERYTHING works!!
I have NO ISSUES, NO BUGS, NO SHOWSTOPPERS, nada. Even Now Playing works, I am floored by all of this! It is amazing, and I rarely say that about a ROM (with no bugs also being reported - at the same time), and as I noted earlier, in the past, cRdroid wasn't great for me (random bugs, and/or missing features I rely on). NOT this version, this version IS GREAT FOR ME, I have EVERY SINGLE possible tweak I want/need/use, PLUS functional services / RIL (Radio Interface Layer) I.E. CALLs/TXT/MMS, PLUS no bugs, or FCs, or anything that would keep me away!
Normally, I use LOS, and LOS only (while testing all other ROMs for users and myself), but always landing back with LOS, not this time! I am STICKING WITH cRdroid for the foreseeable future, it is my DailyDriver and will remain so until something changes (but doubtful at this point)!! I have everything I need, baked right into the ROM, so I don't even need my LSPosed modules (other than SafetyNetFix once ROOT'ng)!
EXTREMELY WELL DONE and THANK YOU FOR THIS ROM!!!! For the rest of XDA users, this ROM WORKS! It works EXTREMELY WELL, is bug-free (from my extensive testing and standpoint). I haven't found any bugs yet (not a single one)!

Yes, this is a type of 4XL, it's cheaper to 20% .
Installed it yesterday and almost everything is working perfectly. The only feature that seems to be missing Soli which is a shame since it's a fun novelty.
best rom ever love you

Thanks for the rom. Perhaps anyone could advice me if there is an easy switch from LOS 20 to this rom? If possible I'd like to avoid installing all apps again ... including the "security" features for a couple of sensitiv apps like bank apps.
Perhaps someone knows if restoring a swiftbackup would work.
Thanks

it is easy
i do it everytime I flash a custom rom
you need to root your phone using magisk
then instal
Migrate - ROM backup 5.0.1from play store
open it and take a full backup of your installed apps
copie this backup to your laptop
and after flashing this perfect rom
copie the backup from the laptop to the phone
and root the phone again
and instal
Migrate flasherfrom play store
open it
and flash the file you backed up
this way you will have allll your apps including your banking apps with all your data
you will not have to instal anything twise...
good luck
it is easy
don't worry..
