Bluetooth Connected to Your Car - OnePlus 8T Questions & Answers

When my phone is connected to my car through bluetooth the volume is too low even when maxed out. Just wondering if others have this issue. Is it just my specific device? or a known issue with the 8t?
I have a few more days where I can return/replace my 8t. So if others dont experience this too, i can just swap my 8t for another and hope it doesnt have this problem.
TIA

[Q] Problems with Bluetooth

Anyone else having problems with the bluetooth not discovering devices, i cant seem to get my one x to discover my cars bluetooth for anything, then i take my other phone and it discovers it in one shot. Anyone have any ideas?
You're making the phone "Visible to all nearby Bluetooth devices" right?
What brand car stereo? If factory stereo, what car make?
yes i have that switched on, its a mitsubishi factory stereo.
Don't see anything in the systems files that would indicate Mitsubishi stereos being blacklisted. Have you tried any other Bluetooth devices? Maybe go to a stereo store and see if you can pair to other car head units. Could be a defect with the phone. Maybe others can chime in on whether they were able to get the phone paired with their Mitsubishi head units or not.
Can't connect anymore
I was able to connect with my One X with 1.73. Then I swapped my phone out at Best Buy and got a new one with 1.85. Now I can't anymore. I have a Kenwood in-dash nav.
I was having the same issues. It ended up being that there was too much interference in the area that I was (my garage) I tried it again in a open parking lot and it paired just fine. I had to search for devices from my phone while my unit was looking for my phone also.

Anyone using Rocketfish RF-MAB2 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones?

My One X (Rogers) gives constant crackles and pops when I listen to audio over Bluetooth with these headphones, and I experience the same with an older pair of Jabra BT-620s.
I'm trying to figure out whether it could be a BT chipset incompatibility or a hardware problem with the One X.
I'm aware of the WiFi and Bluetooth issues some units have, but that does not appear to be what I'm experiencing: my range is very good and the crackles occur even if I hold the phone at 2 inches from the headphones.
Anyone else have the Rocketfish headphones? Can you comment on your experience?
Thanks!

Thank you very much for your reply. That pretty much confirms that it is a hardware problem with my phone.
Bizarrely, the problem seems to be worse with CM10 than with Sense-based ROMS including stock, but it is present regardless.
I hope HTC will honour the warranty it if is clearly hardware-related, despite the bootloader being unlocked. They were quite helpful on the phone but said that the repair center would make that decision.

Anyone else developing bluetooth issues?

I've noticed that lately my bluetooth connection has been spotty. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting in my car, or not connecting at all. Most times when it connects to my bluetooth speakers or car audio the connection displays "connected(no audio)". Has anyone else experienced similar problems with bluetooth?

I've had no bluetooth issues at all. It's been rock solid for me (paired with 3 cars, a Denon receiver, and 2 bluetooth speakers).
My FitBit connection would drop after a while and couldn't reconnect until the phone is restarted. Restarting Bluetooth alone does not resolve the issue.

I've got an Xiaomi mi Band and car stereo. I've problems too, have to restart phone to solve the problem.
Could it be that there is a problem with Bluetooth low energy?

No idea whats going on, but herein lies the issue with Blu not being consistent with device updates. If this was a Samsung phone, I would know that an update is coming to address this issue. With Blu, we might be stuck dealing with this for the life of the phone. I still have 4 days to decide whether or not Ill take that chance.
I'm still having an issue with my Bluetooth connection, regardless of whether it's my Fitbit syncing or connecting to my car radio.
When the phone is booted it'll work as normal then at some point is no longer able to my devices, restarting Bluetooth doesn't fix this and the only solution I'm aware of is to reboot the phone.

USB-C headphone adapter inline mic issue?

I've had a consistent issue with my Pixel2's headphone adapter.
When on a phone call with headphones and an inline mic, I hear the headphone mic fed into the headphones, but ONLY when on a call in the phone app. (Mute button still feeds audio)
Does anyone else have this problem? I have a thread of users on a google forum all with the same problem, new Dongle replacements and even replacement phones doesn't seem to fix it.
Is this a known issue? Should I return my phone and try again?
My inline mic on my headphones doesn't work. I don't know if the standards changed or what is the cause.

This is the thread listing other people with the same issue. I'm surprised this hasn't surfaced on XDA yet.
I've tried numerous headphones, confirmed they work on other devices (worked on my nexus 6p and lg g3, and laptop), and it isn't even an issue when using VOIP / skype / slack.
The problem only occurs when on a phone call, and persists even when on "mute". There is almost no delay in the sound feeding back into the headphones, it isn't a carrier issue (as google tech support already suggested, SMH), so it must be isolated to the adapter AND/OR phone app.

Issue with USB-C audio

Hi everyone, I posted this on the OP7T Pro forum but just thought I checked here as well.
I was trying to use the USB-C pixel buds as well as USB-C to 3.5mm converter with the OP7T Pro.
Initially it didn't work as when I plugged in the earphones, there was no sound. But after rebooting the device, the earphones started working and there's a notification icon at the top that the earphone was detected.
Fast forward half a day later, it stopped working again. Just wondering if anyone had this issue before? Thanks in advance everyone!
same issue
i have a same issue i cant solve that.
Confirmed the issue is due to charging of the phone on my Pixel 3XL's charger. When I charge using my Pocophone's charger or the one that comes in the box, the issue does not occur. Leaving this here in case anyone else faces the same issue in the future.
I'm seeing the same issue
