Question WhatsApp calls not working - Xiaomi 12S Ultra

Hello,
I noticed last time that WhatsApp inbound and outbound calls (voice & video) are not working. If I try to call someone, it will go to the call screen and starts ringing but the person on the other end never receives any notification of the call. Same thing when someone calls me, no notification and no missed call history. Messaging, including voice messages, pictures, and videos are working fine.
I looked online and tried clearing cache and data, enabled all permissions + auto start + disabled battery settings, etc,.
Any suggestions?

Calls (audio and video) work for me but I had to enable all required permissions AND then Force Close the app before making calls

Never mind. I tried inbound and outbound calls with other contacts and it works, so most likely the issue is with the other contact's phone and not mine.

Call forward to voice mail- no ring

Anyone have this problem?
After few days of normal use, the incoming call will forward to voicemail if my phone is in sleep/ON mode. And if I am on outbound call, the incoming call will so as "waiting". The outbound call always work.
If I power cycle the phone, incoming call will work.
I think something not sync up between the phone and the ATT network.
Therefore, ATT think my phone is offline and forward the call to voice mail.
I use Dual. V3
Is this related to the Reg/power save tweak?
Thanks,

VoIP calls dropping

I've set up VoIP with my TISP using this template:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299950
It works and I can see I'm connected to my TISP.
However, whenever I make calls, it will ring and the recipient will receive the call, but as soon as the recipient picks up, the call will end on both sides.
If I dial my voicemail for example, it will ring and pick up. I'll hear the start of the voicemail automatic menu for a split (less than half a second) second before the call cuts itself.
The same thing happens when I dail out to another number. I'll hear the other party for a split second after pickup and the call will end.
I can't try incoming calls though as my TISP only offers outgoing but no incoming calls (incoming calls are routed to my cell phone).
Anyone know how to fix this?
The ROM I'm using is this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=551642
My TISP works with my Trinity before I switched to this phone.

GrooVeIP Google voice problem

For almost a year I never had a problem but yesterday i don't what happened. I use GrooVeIP as my primary way to make phone calls. I do not have cell phone service. Most of the time I'm on a WiFi network. Since yesterday GrooVeIP will let me make phone calls but i cant receive them it will go straight to voice mail without a single ring. All voice mails go into the spam folder in Google voice even though i have no filters set up. All calls are check marked to be forwarded to Google chat. There is no call screening in place. Do not disturb is set to off. Global Spam Filtering is off. On GrooVeIP settings on the app i have tried, Partial wake lock and High pref WiFi lock but has no effect. I have tried most settings but with no resolve. Wondering if other people are having this problem or somebody has a fix? Please feel free to ask any questions...Thanks!!
After playing around with google voice i found that it was marking everything as spam. I have to go threw all contacts and mark them as not spam and it seems to be working.

Google Voice Incoming Call Alerts - what do you use?

For those that use Google Voice as their primary number and one of the 3rd party apps for calls (Groove IP, Spare Phone, Talkatone, etc.) how do you get alerts for incoming calls on your watch? Specifically I've got an SW2 and use Spare Phone.
There seem to be plenty of apps that provide notifications for incoming calls to the dialer, but Spare Phone only provides a notification when a call is missed. I'd like to get the alert while the call is still ringing so that I can answer it. I'm assuming I may have to find some way to use Tasker to force a notification that will pop up on my watch, but I'm hoping there is already something out there.
TIA

With the recent integration of Google Voice into Hangouts the notification I was seeking is no longer needed as Hangouts sends a notification during incoming call.

S7 lacks notifications during phone calls

Hi everyone. Got a weird one here. If I'm actively in a phone call, my T-Mobile s7 will not notify me of texts. There's no sound or vibration while I'm on a call. I checked the phone apps settings and call alerts is set to on. I also completely wiped and it didn't work. I've tried the Google SMS app and hangouts SMS and still doesn't work.
Any good ideas?
Tried another wipe and even safe mode.
