VoIP calls dropping - General Questions and Answers

I've set up VoIP with my TISP using this template:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299950
It works and I can see I'm connected to my TISP.
However, whenever I make calls, it will ring and the recipient will receive the call, but as soon as the recipient picks up, the call will end on both sides.
If I dial my voicemail for example, it will ring and pick up. I'll hear the start of the voicemail automatic menu for a split (less than half a second) second before the call cuts itself.
The same thing happens when I dail out to another number. I'll hear the other party for a split second after pickup and the call will end.
I can't try incoming calls though as my TISP only offers outgoing but no incoming calls (incoming calls are routed to my cell phone).
Anyone know how to fix this?
The ROM I'm using is this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=551642
My TISP works with my Trinity before I switched to this phone.

Call forward to voice mail- no ring

Anyone have this problem?
After few days of normal use, the incoming call will forward to voicemail if my phone is in sleep/ON mode. And if I am on outbound call, the incoming call will so as "waiting". The outbound call always work.
If I power cycle the phone, incoming call will work.
I think something not sync up between the phone and the ATT network.
Therefore, ATT think my phone is offline and forward the call to voice mail.
I use Dual. V3
Is this related to the Reg/power save tweak?
Thanks,

outbound call notification

Hi Guys,
When I make a call, it used to ring on my handset to inform me that it was ringing at the other end. It has now stopped doing that. (e.g. dial the number, press connect, phone rings at this end, person answers)
Is this likely to be the network not sending a notification to my phone to ring, or the phone not understanding that notification, or just not ringing.
The other person answers fine after a few seconds, and the call proceeds as per normal. Equally when someone calls me it all works fine.
wait.. did it use to notifity you thru the system or thru the phone itself? if it was a system notification it's probably the device, if it's the phone it's probably the network.

Google Voice question

I have GV installed on my N5. If I don't answer the call or decline it it sends people to my Tmobile VM instead of my GV VM. If I tell my phone to Forward unanswered calls to my GV number and I decline a call. The other persons phone rings until it puts them to GV, but on my side I have declined the call, then there is silence, then 1 second ring and then the call ends.
How can I get rid of the phone giving me a 2nd quick ring before shooting the person to GV VM?

Hello,
This is my first post so I hope it helps with the first part of your problem you are having with Google Voice.
Follow these steps to have your mobile phone use Google Voice for voicemail instead of your carrier's voicemail. You can always go back to using your carrier's voicemail later if you want, by entering another code.
Enter the following exactly as written, as if you are dialing someone:
**004* "Your Google Voice Number" #
Press "Send" or "Call" on your phone to dial that number. When you see the confirmation message on your phone, you are done!

Not receiving calls, or calls get dropped, or cannot hear anything

- Sometimes I can make incoming and outgoing calls
- Sometimes I can make or recieve calls but the person on the other end cannot hear me
- Sometimes the person trying to call me will hear 1-2 rings and then it will go straight to voicemail
- Sometimes the person will call me but the call will disconnect after a few seconds
I'm registered on my network and have a strong signal. What could the problem be? It only happens periodically which is so strange. If it was a constant issue I could better isolate the cause but at this point I'm completely lost.
I had the same problem - go to Settings - Mobile Networks Mode - Network Mode and select LTE/CDMA instead of Automatic

Incoming/Outgoing calls issue on the G7 One LM-Q910UM

I have been experiencing incoming call issues. Also outgoing call issues but not as frequent.
Incoming calls while on Android 10 are silent. I cannot hear the caller and they cannot hear me. If I enable speaker phone I hear them and they hear me fine, I then can disable speaker phone back to the ear piece and all is normal again. I am not sure if this is for carrier specific incoming calls or just a sw bug or both...
Outgoing call issue has happened a couple times. In this circumstance I made a call put it on speaker phone. It was on speaker for a while the call was fine I could hear everything so I muted my side until I needed to speak. When I un-muted they could not hear me. I took it off speaker while un-muted and still nobody could hear me. I had to hang up and switch sim cards back to my V30+ because of this issue.
I have yet to test other dialers or phone apps, to see what might be happening here. Anyone have any suggestions to check logs or is there a way to get to a service menu to troubleshoot?
