Could you maybe check for me if they have added an option to keep notifications on the lockscreen? Notifications tend to get removed after 10 - 20 minutes from the lockscreen, even though you never dismissed them. They will still appear in the notification panel when unlocked. Thanks

Thank you for checking!!
Oxygen OS 13 open beta released yesterday so I checked it on my oneplus 10 pro, they have fixed it there. Notifications remain in the lockscreen until you clear them.
I was able to use PIA VPN set to France to sign up for the beta and got it downloaded the day after the signups closed.
So far - just the known issue of Wallet not working. All good!

Hi,
Yes, it does but you'll need to turn on your device logcat in the recovery.
I don't have the device myself so I can't direct you with the menus.
It should work after that.
Let me know if it works...
Thanks

Can you report the force close in the app? or send me your logcat?
It shouldn't drain battery since it only logs when you open an app.
I'd be happy to improve it.

I understood that the device log is not on by default in those devices and the app needs it for monitoring the applications.

I think the problem is that some kernels disables the logcat of the device.
Please download aLogcat from the market and install it.

Hello all,
Today a strange icon appeared on my phone named "Feeling Lucky". It looks like the playstore icon wrapped in a present.
I tried searching on google (also the image) to find out what it is but could not find anything.

I recently updated my phone (two days ago I think), but the icon appeared this morning.
Things I found out already:
- There is a Feeling Lucky app in the playstore, but that's not it.
- I can't find an app called Feeling Lucky in the app manager.
- I uninstalled the playstore updates, but no effect.
- It is not in the widget, shortcut list
- It is part of the app list
Anyone an idea?
Thanks,
HugoBass

It might be a side effect of another app you installed, can you open the app info and look at the package name? That might give some clues. Also can you uninstall it?

Thanks for the suggestion! I looked at the app info and it appears to me part of the Apex Launcher. After searching for this on Google I found out it is adware. Apparently this is part of the Apex Launcher. So no more Apex for me

Definitely a part of apex. It's in their changelog for the most recent version.
There does not seem to be a way to disable this "feature" but since I got rid of it, it hasn't come back.

Just if anyone wants to know, I ended up just disabling the feelinglucky activity in apex launcher with myAndroidTools and that seems to have fixed it
I saw this this morning too... I dared to open it, then it said loading, and then a toast said "Lucky app not available" ... so sketchy. Hopefully Apex isn't going downhill.

Notch Pie is an app which creates an overlay on the status bar around the teardrop notch in order to show the battery status.
Important note:
The app is no longer maintained. You can find the code in the archived repository on GitHub.

After I set it up, the circle came down a few pixels below the notch when I activated it. O+6T T-mobile version.
Would be nice if I could go back and reconfigure without starting over entirely. After trying twice and failing both times upon activation, I gave up. Too much tapping for one morning!

I keep getting notifications that my Tutanota mail app is consuming battery and that it needs to be optimised. But optimisation needs to be disabled for that app in order to get mail notifications from Tutanota.

If you're rooted already it's easy to install and adds tons of customization.

Oh, I see it. I think they should relabel that lol. I thought it meant if the pin failed it would auto try it again or something? Now that I think about it that doesn't make sense. I'll apply that.
So, that's not a description of the feature @xgerryx - it's to let you know to retry, as it typically takes until the second try to work. I do the English translations for AOSPMods, so that's why I left it this way: to let users know to try again when it doesn't work the first time, as it typically doesn't. This was meant to be a reply so I tagged you instead lol.
