GPS not working with latest software
Hi.
I have reverted back from Android to Wince and flashed the Kotix version with skins. The GPS module is not working is there anyone who have had the same problem and was able to fix this?, it would be nice to have GPS working.
Hope someone can help.

What do you mean is not working?
How do you test it?

No album art in Nitrogen
I have no album art in Nitrogen.
With the stock player i do have album art . Any idea's what the problem may be ?

Nitrogen visualize for sure the folder.jpg, i don't know if it show the album embedded in the mp3 tag.

But i have more than 1500 songs on my sd card., So what is the best tool that automatic can download .jpg covers for every song ?

Has anyone here made it to connect a USB tmc transmitter? I would like to receive traffic information and that I can get alternative routes in any navi application on the S100.

Hi.
Sorry for late reply, I flashed again and then it worked. I also had to adjust the baud in the gps software to 9600.
I would like to test nitrogen player but I have not figured out how to install it. could someone point me in the right direction?, I have the extras on a sd card.

Use Kotix skin manager

Guys. I am still running kotix android on my s100. No real problems except the the igo not starting sometimes. Other issue u have is within Winamp. If I am listening to Winamp and stop somewhere and put it in park without turning car off, once I put it in reverse it changes the internal Winamp volume. Can't figure out why. Maybe someone can try to replicate it. Under the sound settings in Winamp it's the volume control on the right side. I always keep it at 3/4 but once truck goes into reverse after in park it goes back to the 1/4 setting

I just updated my skin 4 from kotix's blog it work but some button in the main menu are swapped AUDIO PLAYER with NAVI, NAVI with POP, POP with BT and BT with AUDIO PLAYER.

I tried it yesterday on my C802.
Noticed they fixed some bugs but I'm unable to change Led colors.
Maybe this is why I installed a FW not designed for C802 or maybe... they forgot something
I remember that 1.6.9 had ability to change led colors.

English TPMS app?

Hi all,
Couldn't really find a good answer for this, so before I decompile the app myself I'd like to ask here. I've bought a USB TPMS set (Tire pressure monitoring system), and it works fine. However when I start the app the notification shade is in Chinese (although the app itself is in English). I also have to manually start the app each time I start my car.
Wasn't there a TPMS app in Malay ROM? Can't find it in the 3.2.1 release, so I installed the one that came with the TPMS on a USB stick. If so, can someone send it (if it's different)?
If not, anyone else interested in this? I can decompile the app and make my own one. I haven't tried the Store version, but I believe this is the one (I got the APK): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tpms3

M8 can you tell me what device you bought and is working to you and what radio you got with which rom?

Not sure if I can post here, but the Play Store app has an Amazon link in it. If you search for USB TPMS on AliExpress you will also find the gear you need.
It should work on any MTCD/E with Android 6 or 8 I believe.

Could you make it a plugin for Torque Pro? Ill be happy to buy it

Hi, I have the same TPMS and use the app that came with it and it works perfectly except for the annoying API compatibility screen on startup.
Are you able to recompile it to suit Android 9?

According to what is written on 4PDA, the file CANBUS.UPDE on yadi.sk is for Toyota. Canbus manufacturer: "SIMPLE", customer version: 8 in factory settings.

why would you you like to do that ? it's too risky that you can brick yours with unknown models firmware. Also what would you expect to fix bu updating ?

Because there's newer software version with new features and I know that inside electronics is the same, but I have no idea how to gather data from newer canbus box and transfer it to older one.

Here's a photo of the board, the chip is stm32 f072c8t6

is it came with the head unit or you purchased separately ? either way it is very hard to find a firmware for them.. even when you found there should be a special cable to connect computer to update along with the software.

As you noted, this is a STM32 based chip, so to me this should be something you can solder some jumpers onto and copy the firmware and decompile using Ghidra or IDA...
From what I've seen these Canbus modules simply proxies the car's Canbus for the MCU and subsequently, Android. The problem is, if a Canbus message you want to receive, or need to receive is filtered by this proxy then you're out of luck. You'd have to do some sort of firmware modification to the Canbus module and whitelist that message.

I have a problem with my canbus on Fiat 500e (electric vehicle from USA). I buyed radio with canbus to Fiat 500 and not working correct. Menu in application is disabled, but show correct parameters.

360 factory camera OSD alignment.

Hi all, I have this bugging issue with the all round 360 camera on screen display and text which should all be to the right of the screen and not on the left. I have an Australian nissan 2018 Qashqai Ti with the Dasaita PX6 head unit. There is no option in the menu system to rectify this problem other than the X - mirror function only. I have contacted Dasaita and it seems not big of a problem for them to rectify. Could it be the vehicles Canbus or canbus decoder which came with the head unit that's has messed up the graphics and text alignment?

Just an update, I have successfully edited the Auto Park file and realigned all the graphics accordingly. It was a self crash course in Android Studio and in the end it was so easy.

Hi,
can you say which canbus decoder you have installed? I have a 2016 Nissan xtrail T32 with the Dasaita PX6 head unit but cannot get the PA option for Park Assist which was available on the original factory head unit.

Dasaita CB008 canbus.
It supports the factory 360 full camera and PA system (PA language only in English ), support BOSE amplifier , support original usb cable and steering wheel control.
Note: Make sure you have selected the right vehicle in the Canbus settings.

Thanks, tried those but when I go into 360 mode with the camera I still DO NOT get the "PA" option on screen. Maybe there is something else missing. Have tried contacting Dasaita and they basically pointed me back to the same settings as you mentioned.
These are my factory harnesses below, one larger than the other however I have seen in some videos, other vehicles where the 2 that are actually connected are of similar width and the larger one not used. However while the Dasaita harness has 3 connectors (2 x 20 pin and 1 x 40 pin), my vehicle only has 2 - 1 wide (40 pin) and 1 small (20pin).
Maybe i'll have to go look for the old original unit to confirm if "PA" Park Assist was actually included in my model to confirm my memory.

Hi mate, is your HU a MTCD , ie Px5,Px6?

No, it's a head unit of AliExpress from a company called Sinosmart.
I think it's a TS10 model head unit with a uis7862 processor.
But I've had a look at the overlay issue. Came to the conclusion it was the difference between LHD and RHD cars and how their 'Park assist' is shown.
My issue looks pretty identical to the YouTube video. I'll try and attach a picture.

I've found this apk and I've tried to use Android studio on it but can't get my head around it. I think it could possibly be the one that controls the OSD inpark assist?
@sandpita Could you check if possible that this would be the file? How could I go about editing it if so?

That is the correct APK to edit, use APK Editor Studio to make changes in the layout/reverse.xml to move each graphic button to the right position.

Cheers mate. I've been trying the last few days but couldn't get my head around it.
I've used the Java decompilers website to decompile it and was trying to import the whole APK into android studio so I could change it in the GUI. Just couldnt get any gui up.

Make sure you make a backup of the original file, this version is for Android 10 and you must have root access.
Delete the original file and copy my file into it's folder. Reboot you headunit and the adjustment to RHD will be updated.

apk canbus a/c

I found the following image by the forum. I would like to find that apk to extract the graphics and layout, to adapt the apk of canbus to change the graphics of air conditioning, the graphics of the stock apk do not like anything. Does anyone have the oem apk with those graphics? I think they are in some specific versions for volkswagen

Sorry but APK is not compatible because,
Isudar H53 procesor is Intel.
BOSION have different software
But I know now this APK is from isudar H53 intel procesor
