Guys, my son bought to some stupid idiot a galaxy watch 4 classic and we ignorantly did not know that it was stolen and in demo mode.
¿Is it possible to remove It this demo mode?
¿Or product of our ignorance we already lost those 100 dollars?
I have thought about the idea of going to a physical Samsung store to tell about my problem, but they could take my watch away
Thanks.
Hello!
I don't really know about Galaxy Watches, but do some research on how to flash (re-install the operating system).

You might just risk it and go to a Samsung store. Make sure to tell them that you bought the device second hand + show proof.

Maybe your son bought a Live Demo Unit. In this care there is Nottingham to do: it is not a production device, only a demo version used in stores.
You can easily check looking at the model code and firmware version.
The firmware needs to be flashed remotely with NetOdin3

I really need help ,i have bought a samsung phone from a china cell phone shop with less money, they told us gear 2 can works with this phone, that`s why i bought this phone .
I can not post link now,,i bought from 234buy.com.It`s s5.(maybe it`s not real s5, i fell so sad, just wanna know can it work with gear 2)
I'm not sure, that is not a Samsung Galaxy S5, it's a cheap Chinese knock-off. Its running Android 4.2.2. You can try following the steps listed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2723862 No guarantee it will work.

It's not compatible : search "device compatibility samsung gear s2" on google and click the first link. (I can't give you the link because my account isn't old enough on this forum.)
I see that some users have found kernels and what not but i'm not extraordinary at this stuff. Could someone that has honestly, fully rooted a Gear S3 frontier with android please post a video showing how to do it. I don't understand all the terminology and when to do which steps. I'm just a guy who wants his expensive watch to run google play music and have access to the android market. Please help!
NO known Android Port exists... not for Gear S2 nor S3...
Different reasons...
On Gear S3 also bigger problems to achieve ROOT... as higher security exists.
Thanx to Samsung.
Best Regards
So anything i'm seeing where someone is claiming to have done it is fake?

You have to differ few things...
Leaked Service Firmware packages called Combination Firmware are rooted... because Samsung Service Firmware.
Example for rooted SERVICE Firmware... BQC2 for SM-R760:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s3/development/rom-samsung-gear-s3-sm-r760-t3588082
But it was NOT possible yet... to root "normal" Firmware like BQC5:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s3/development/rom-samsung-gear-s3-sm-r760-t3588062
Their are BIG differences between Combination Firmware and normal Retail Firmware for End user...
So for most users Combination Firmware is useless... as limited in Features you know...
Best Regards

Hi I'm using SM-R760 and I live in Turkey. I saw the guides on the forum as well, but they are outdated. So my question is, is it possible to install Samsung Pay on Tizen 4.0.0.7 and use it in Turkey?
I would like to know the same thing
I have the same question.
Also I'd like to know if I can upload any firmware with ODIN without to take care about original and uploaded firmware origin.
Thank you.

I cant answer for your location (turkey). but I am in USA and just got my hands on a friends used Gear 3 Tizen with version 4.0.0.7, and fully reset to factory settings, it has samsung Pay by default. so must be region dependent on if you get pay by default. I did quick search on google and found some guides that claim Samsung Pay enable in "any" location, so might be a more general guide you can follow???
