I have run Treble Info on my phone (in various roms) and it reports that this device is A/B and supports System-as Root.

I think. Because all a12 gsis are a/b
All a12 GSI are a/b? AFAIK you can flash GSI ROMs to slot a and/or of course to slot b, too, but you can also flash a gsi rom to slot a only, if you dont have slot b. What should you do else if you have only slot a? Maybe im wrong, but i learned that slot B ist a "rescue thing" if you flashoholic flashed an error or something wrong into slot a: In this case you switch to slot b via adb and yout device ist running like new again. Please correct me if i am wrong. My english is very ****ty, i know, but i hope you can understand my english "kauderwelshing" ...

The "easiest" way is to see the installation instructions of the custom recovery such as TWRP if in the "guide" there is no step that involves slot A and B then your smartphone may support Treble but you do NOT have the option "activated " default

Actually I don't know, however there are some device specific bugs on the treble roms and if you encounter a problem with a port it's more likely that it'll be fixed faster

What do you mean by "crack into a vendor image", what did you do there (if any changes)............please elaborate.
Also this work is of @Lyuu not yours.
Lyuu has been developing Treble for athene since quite some time now.
Q) Why do you think she didn't release treble here on XDA? Was she dumb or does she not know how to make a thread?
A) No, because it's not ready to use yet. Lyuu once hard bricked her device while working on treble and that's the reason it has been paused now till Official Oreo comes out.
Please take this down or consider yourself reported as this treble is not stable for use (its still developing) and can hard brick the device too.

I have oneplus 8T KB2000 , when Flash Global ROM for this phone
use MSMTOOL kebab_15_O.12_201110
after flash ROM reboot dispay QUALCOMM CrashDump Mode
now , only entered to fastboot mode . EDL mode,
try Unbrick MSMtool other version kebab_15_O.12_210201 cant solve this problen also

I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. Does anybody know of how to bypass settings keys for adb. I have a OnePlus 8t T-Mobile that I had unlocked by T-Mobile but still converted to global and since then has been nothing but problems.
Currently I have lineage installed and phone boots fine. The problem is that even though it boots I think it's still bricked. I have no touch once lineage boots... On top of that I have no recovery, I have no fastboot and no edl and adb needs the keys set to do anything with adb.
I've had numerous other OnePlus phones and never experienced issues like this. My guess is converting to the 9r lemonade broke something. Since porting that rom I have been unable to convert back to TMobile. I know my drivers are installed correctly. I not only know how to check drivers but I also tested drivers since I have 2 computers and also a 6t and a 7t to test. Msm tool fails since converting device.
Any ideas or leads on where to look and read is much appreciated. Thanks Sam

Everything can be installed with command lines, the Twrp/O.F simplifies this.
The TWRP or O.F does not require a pc to install roms.
Not all roms only have img files to flash (AOSP/GSI).
A PC+a cable=2 additional errors possible.
Xiaomi EU rom provides roms in Fastboot.zip because either there is no TWRP yet or it is not 100% functional.
From the moment there is a functional TWRP, the roms will be in Zip and installable via OTA / TWRP.

Thanks for your answer, but rn, the only unofficial TWRP available for this device has no source code released, so we can't know what's inside the image.

That's why all Xiaomi Eu roms (VEUXG/VEUX) are in Fastboot.zip.
I tried to use dsu loader but it failed (my bootloader is unlocked)

Are you on Android 13? Because you could try A14 GSI only with preview or A13 as I know.

Forget about load latest custom or update GSI on Android 11 so.
If you would like to try, use DSU Sideloader

I have custom rom, awaken os 3.0, and have tried dsu sideloader too... Everything is failing at this point
Any other tips?
