Hello,
I'm new here and this is my first post.
I just got the Teyes CC3 and working to connect it.
I use DSP and will connect vis toslink or spdif ( I havn't decided yet).
My rear speakers don't run on an amplifier
Is it possible to run the unit with digital out ant to connect the rear speakers to the unit?
Thank you!
What happened when tried
I didn't tried yet

I have a JVC radio that works with an iPhone. Is there any SW that would allow it to work with a android?
This is the second thread you have started on the same subject. What are you expecting to do with it? As mentioned before if your phone is in disk drive mode you should be able to play mp3 files from the card. Have you tried that? Works fine on my kenwood like that.
thanks
I was actually hopping to be able to pump out audio like phone calls etc.. The iPhone can can do it. I thought the other post was removed becaues I put it in the wrong section.
My kenwood does both. But it is actually done by bluetooth. There are 2 channels, phone and AD2P that my headunit has settings for. I myself have never heard of using USB for this phone. I don't think the micro usb port is capable of handling that. If you expect your headunit to handle calls it will either have to be done by bluetooth or by auxillary headphone cable. What way are you trying to make the connection? What make and model of headunit do you have in your car?
You are correct. I was to cheap to pay the extra $ for the BT. I put a spliter on the AUX port and all works. Just had to hide a few cables. The reason I can not use BT is, I use SKYPE for long conf calls. IT works great but it does not pump out audio out of BT.
I connect one side to my XM portable and the other to the audio port on the phone. Seems to be working ok. I get a little feedback from Phone when it is plugged in to a power source. I am working on a fix for that.
Hi,
i would like to build a simple and hi-quality hi-fi, using my TF101 as digital source to feed a DAC with .flac lossless music. I wonder how to connect my tablet to the DAC :
1°) My favorite solution would be to send data to the DAC using wireless from my TF, but i seriously doubt anything like this is possible ?
2°) Then I would like to use USB audio output as many hifi DAC devices already use those connectors. Here again, not sure at all if TF101/honeycomb manages USB audio out ?
3°) Finally i could use the HDMI output but few DAC use that connector. I saw on ebay one that take "HDMI I2S" input, will our TF be able to send that kind of signal ?
Any help is welcome !
1. Honey Player. You need Airport Express as receiver. It has optical out.
2. Probably not.
3. Should work.
I had been using my unit for more than 6 months and everything was great, I got home from school during spring break and installed my rear view camera. Camera works fine, however, now there is no sound from anything. I uninstalled this unit and re-installed the original from the car and everything was fine all speaker worked as did volume and changing stations. Re-installed the Dasaita unit again no sound. I tested all the plug and play wires from plug to plug and there were no shorts and all wires passed a continuity test with my voltmeter. I tried undoing all the rear camera work that I did, this didn't change anything. I have factory reset the unit more time than I can count. I also installed the newest software and firmware updates (MTCE version: V3.45 and MAX6 Version : PX6 HA2_rk3399_9.0_ota(20200320)).
There is no sound from the radio, from Apple Car Play, not even sound from the side unit volume buttons.
My car is a 2008 Honda civic LX, and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I am currently out of ideas.
Thank you,
Austin
Same exact thing happened to me.
Are you using the RCA outputs into an amp, or the speaker-level outputs via the 20pin connector on the back of the head unit? Have your CanBus settings in the Factory Settings changed at all?
20pin connector. I had to install a new motherboard that I got from Daisata due to my wifi not working on the previous board they sent me. Now I have no wifi and no audio with this board. I tried all the CanBus settings that match my Jeep, but no audio. The steering wheel controls do work, so it seems like I have the right CanBus selected.
When all audio goes, including button beeps all you can say is it's dead Jim. How dead might make the difference between sending it back or fixing it. Of course make sure it's not on mute. You could always start by contacting your seller for warranty. Next connect an amplified speaker to the RCA line out, if you get sound that means the amplifier IC is not working and it's a fairly easy fix. Unless you had other issues with audio before it's likely bad solder joints on the amplifier pins. You could re-heat the pins with an iron but it would be better to remove the old solder and replace it with good 60/40 lead solder.

Took me a while to post the previous one and I just saw your new post. Is there another board that connects to the motherboard? Units with 2 boards have a MCU and a SoM. The USB comes from the SoM and goes to a hub on the MCU. The WiFi board is connected through USB, check if your USB ports work. The pins of the female SoM connector can get damaged, some people have fixed it with metal foil as mentioned in the warning on this thread.

In the CanBus settings in the Factory Settings, there is a selection "With Amplifier/Without Amplifier" and as far as I can see, this selects which outputs you are using (ie speaker-level outputs on the 20 pin connector, or line-level outputs via the RCA connectors). It also does some other things likes make parts of the DSP unavailable, but try flipping this selection and see if you get sound.
I think that refers to whether you have the built in amplifier that comes with some Jeep models or not. Unfortunately, I tried both options and neither work.
Were you able to get this resolved?
I have the same problem with my Honda Civic 2012 LX.
I have the same problem.
I bougth a new head unit. Everything works exept the sound.
But the System Sounds and the radio also work. I tried different can settings also without can.
Hello everyone
Wondering if somebody has tried to use an external USB Mic as the default Mic for their units. It is clear that using any electret mic (external or whatever) won't solve the audio/mic quality of the units. But I was thinking that a USB mic would solve the noise introduced by the unit board/circuit design, and even more, could be placed anywhere closer to the driver without a long audio cable (you use an USB cable extension)
Any experience on this?
@marchnz What has been your experience with mic and FYT units? Are they significatively better? Do they use the cheap electret?
Tanks !!!

Much the same - must disconnect internal when using external.
So, answering my own question... NO, at least the MTCD PX5 boards are not compatible with USB Mics (Analog mics that have a Analog-to-digital converter and a proper USB interface)
I tested multiple USB-A manufacturers, and none of them worked, even if they worked on my Pixel 6 (with the proper cable / OTG)
Leaving this here as a reference in case somebody asks the same question on the future
I have a Teyes CC2 plus and want to use both Aux (video in) inputs. I have a side camera plugged in pin A18 (CVBS_1) on harness and it works fine in front video app. I would like to use a second camera on aux in pin A17 (CVBS_2) but I get a no signal error with a cam connected to this input. My harness originally only had just pin A18 (CVBS_1) populated but I added a Rca jack from another Teyes harness to pin A17 and a shared ground. I contacted Teyes china via whatsapp number they provided but responses are slow no real answer given.
Can anyone with a CC2/ CC2 plus/ CC3 advise if they have used aux in on pin A17 (CVBS_2) or is this disabled somehow? and if so, can it be enabled? I have used both the Teyes AHD reverse cam and a generic AHD cam for testing. Both cams work on pin A18 but none are detected on pin A17.
