Browers then search engine - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Questions & Answers

Has anyone found a way to search for something without using google or the 2 ducks or bling?
The apps at store that don't use these 3 have basiclly ads and no results. Try installing lightning browers and you will see tons of nothing for a search result.

Problem watching youtube videos

I deleted the Youtube application on my phone, and i can't watch youtube videos anymore or other videos online.
Anyone hwo could help me?
Go to the Market, download it again. Just search for Youtube.
I found mny YouTube applications, but non of them is the same as i got on my phone. I tried to download a couple of the applications i found, but i still got the message "No applications can perform this action".
If you had the old version of the YouTube app, you wont find it on the market. The new one is slightly different but maintains the same functionality. It'll say Google as the developer.

Maybe I'm stupid but I could not find any youtube apps by google when I searched for "youtube"
I'm fairly sure it's only available if you have 2.2.
Are you rooted?
Yes, i'm rooted
I got android 2.1 (x10 mini pro), does that mean that I cant install it again?
It should still come up. Google made it modular like Gmail so that different versions of Android could run it. For now you can play Youtube videos from the youtube mobile website. Those will play with the Android's built-in video player.
EDIT: This is the app. http://www.appbrain.com/app/youtube/com.google.android.youtube
Either use AppBrain or search the Market for "com.google.android.youtube"
When I click the link "download directly from the android market" in the page you linked to, I get the message "the requested item could not be found".
Try this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=817528
Well, should never uninstalled it in the first place.
I tried the method you linked to, but when i was going to install the application I got the message "Application not installed".

Market Issue

To this forum and those that work hard I first want to say thank you very much. From rooting my Droid 1 and now my Droid 2 I came to find this site and love it.
I now have a Gtablet and followed the detailed directions for rooting. I installed Vegan 5.1 and loving my tablet. Followed the market fix and was just wondering will all the apps in the market show up? When I go to the market only certain apps show up. I have done the market fix 3 times and still the same apps.
I was able to get most of the apps to show up - Launcher Pro, Titanium Backup, Dolphin HD and a lot more. Some would only show up for me before the market fix - Firefox, Samurai 2, Vendetta Online, and some other Tegra games. I didn't look before I did the fix but I can't find Google Earth after the fix either.
I personally tried doing the Titanium Backup market fix as well as the one by clearing market cache and google services framework manually, stopping both, etc. - neither helped no matter how many times I did them to get any more apps to show up.
Not sure if anyone can help get more apps to show up on the market regularly like Firefox and Samurai 2.

This whole Market thing is driving me nuts

I'm running the stock "Woot" ROM (which is probably vanilla 3588 with some pre-installed apps, but I can't be certain) and have installed the Market and done the standard "market fix."
I'm able to browse the market, but the website insists I don't have any device. However, the website *does* show things I've installed as "installed." I believe that may be from when I was fiddling with TnT Lite earlier, but can't be sure.
I noticed in a thread about editing build.prop that doing so may break website updating, but I've never had that in the first place. That means that any time I do a market fix or switch ROM's that the Market doesn't know about any previously-purchased apps. I might try risking $1.98 and purchasing something then seeing what happens if I try purchasing it later.
Like others, I'm frustrated by what doesn't appear in the Market that I think should: Firefox and Google Earth in particular.
I think ive found that clicking on a link to an app will open it even if its not found in the search. there was an app i couldnt find earlier but it was there when i clicked a market link to it. installed just fine
If you want Firefox to show up after the market fix is applied you need to edit the build.prop - discussed a bit in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1017368
It also will show up before the market fix is applied. I am also having web market problems - no luck there so far.
Regarding Google Earth... never been able to see it in the market. I went as far as searching for the APK to sideload and it simply wouldn't work. Not sure why - it just froze when opening. I am guessing there is some sort of incompatibility with the gTablet...
I recently put cm7 on my moms gtab, and I found google earth in the market and it runs just fine

I never tried to find Google Earth after editing the build.prop. Just did and it was not only in the market but worked great. Maybe CM7 uses a different build.prop by default than vegan 5.1.1. I must have side loaded an old copy before when it didn't work.

Wrong! Paid applications are tied to your Google Account. As long as you log in to your Google account, all your paid apps are available to you in the Market application. However, if you are using a fingerprint in build.prop that Google does not recognize, your paid Google DRM protected apps will not show up; however I believe all ROM's are using a recognized fingerprint (Nexus 1 on TnT-Lite) so we don't have to worry about that.

Play store weird bug

I'm running insanity ii rom on a Galaxy II I9100, and have the weirdest Play store bug.
When I search for anything on playstore it won't show the results i want. If I search for facebook, anything but facebook pops up. If i search for Endomondo, anything but endomondo shows up. This makes it impossible to find and download the apps I really need. Been searching around for a while, but couldn't find anything about it. Ideas?

MIUI 2.10.26 - google search

Has anyone had trouble with the recent MIUI updates for google search? I have looked around quite a bit but found nothing of use on this.
When I try using the search, it doesn't pull up the usual style of search results. Instead, it takes me to the actual google search website, and as soon as I try to scroll, it force closes.
