Hey everyone,
this app was published and sold for years on Google Play, until Google got too annoying with their permission restrictions and their bot removed the app. I didn't want to remove functionality so I just called it a day. Now, inspired from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, I decided to work on the app again, mainly for myself but there has been a constant stream of Mails asking me where it has gone, so I decided to republish it on some alternative App store for free (just as it once started). Long story short, I haven't found any useful alternative Appstore which is not abandoned or worse than Google Play, so here we are, trying to use this board as release home base.
Is it really me, the same developer? Yes and my updates use the same APK-Signature as on Google Play so you can check it (or just update an old version with these new ones). One note: I'm using the package name of the prior free/test version (which is now the full version). If you have bought the pro version years ago, you need to uninstall it and grab this one instead.
Red AlertGo to Red Alert with this wallpaper!
A live wallpaper showing the Red Alert signal. But it's not just some eye candy, true to its original purpose it will help you to monitor your device and alert you about any important events. Missed a call from your friend without noticing? You won't ever again when the Red Alert flashes on your screen and the klaxon calls for your attention
Currently the following events can be set to trigger the yellow or red alert:
Messages: SMS, MMS, GMail, Skype, WhatsApp, Kik, Snapchat, Telegram
Any other Notifications
Missed Calls: Phone, Skype, Viber
Alarm Clock
Battery Level and charging state
Phone Temperature
Failed Unlock Attempts
Signal Loss (WiFi or Mobile)
This app is free, complete and contains no ads. It does offer an option to donate.

Changelogv3.6
Fixed the Alarm Clock functionality (which got broken by newer Android Versions)
Added the option to show an alert indicator on Always-On-Displays (which many OLED phones have, but I tested it with my Pixel 6 mostly)
Fixed the LCARS picture alert animation which was messed up on phones with a narrow display
Added Telegram implementation for third-party alerts
Some minor fixes
v3.5
It's been a while For now the full version of Red Alert is free and without any ads. Consider leaving a tip if you enjoy it.
Battery alerts now offer different battery source to monitor. For now the one additional option besides the phone battery is Daly BMS Bluetooth, which is used in some (and mine) lithium batteries you can find in RVs and so on
Removed the old voice command implementation due to its subpar recognition rate. For future versions support of google assistant is planned
Fixed the alert on snapchat implementation (more fixes coming)
Added a new alert trigger for all notifications not handled already by a third-party trigger
Advanced users: Turn on the Always-On-Display on alerts (mostly for Pixel 6), more stuff for the AoD to planned
Additional Instructions:If you want to enable the "Always-on-Display on Alert" functionality, which allows you to turn off the Always-On-Display usually but only enable it when there is an alert, you will have to use the following line in the Android Debug Tools to grant the required permission:
adb shell pm grant com.oldplanets.redalertwallpaper android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS

I'm not sure which phones support this function other than Pixel 6, but it requires at least Android 12.

An app to make calls and record voice memos without having to unlock the screen or look at it.
After years of shying away from the new OS (WP, android, iOS) because of lack of control, I decided to give up my WM6.5 phone and write an app myself.

Vcustomize lets you make calls, record and listen to voice memo, turn on flash light, and tell time while the phone stays in its cover. Since Android does not allow keypress access to background services, I use proximity sensor to know when the phone is in cover and only then I bring the actual app up. This way it's almost invisible to the user. The sensor can be overridden though.
It's not perfect, but I am working with whatever resources android provides. I use it daily and could not live without it, despite the shortcomings. So I decided others should be able to benefit from it as well. I have tried to make the description as simple as possible, have uploaded a demo video, and made the app free with ad-support.
I hope to add more customizing options if there is enough interest.
Please send feedback and suggestions at [email protected]
I have released version 2.01. It includes many features available on the screen when phone is locked.
----------------------------------------------
2.01
- added flashlight
- added review calls (need directory configured in /sdcard0/vcustomize/callrecordings.txt)
-----------------------------------------------
update history
2.00 - fixed force close problem. App runs without crashing.
- added options on touchscreen to
- make calls (need directory configured in /sdcard0/vcustomize/contacts.txt. format is "name|number")
- record voice memos
- interval shooting ( can be termed spy cam)
- backup files (need backup script configured in /sdcard0/vcustomize/backup.txt. format is "source|destination|delete-source-after-copying-flag")
Going to give this a go thanks for this!
Release version 2.02. I have added timers and alarms (you lose them if phone reboots), full screen postview, and some general stability improvements
It took me two hours to add option to turn off data and wifi when screen is turned off. My android reported 4% battery loss in 6 hours, that's 150 hrs or 6 days of idle time! This was with a bunch of apps and messengers running in background (obviously deprived of data).
The only downside is you will not get any updates from network based apps (gtalk, messenger, email, whatsapp etc) when screen is turned off. but they will get updated in seconds after turning on the screen.

DISCLAIMER
If you have been a part of the Don't Pause thread, or seen the Floating Censor thread, then you have seen my previous work. I really enjoy building apps, but I am terrible at graphic design. You know this if you saw the original UI of Don't Pause. Franco Colomba aka SystemErrorOne redesigned the icons and UI for both of those apps. He has been an invaluable resource since I started making my projects public. Last year he paid a developer to bring his idea to life. Some of you may remember when he released "AddMeNow". Unfortunately that developer never provided him a signature file so he was unable to make any updates. He was left with bugs and dead code everywhere. To say thanks for all the graphics he has provided, I offered to remaster AddMeNow. I deleted the battery hogging parts. I cleaned out all the dead code. I completely changed many of the activities and I added the popups. There is barely anything left from the original AddMeNow, but SuperContact is much better in all aspects. We decided to rename it to SuperContact because this app is really nothing like AddMeNow. I just wanted to put this out there to clear things up. I developed the app, but it was his concept. You will download it from his Google Play account. If you choose to download it from Google Drive then it will be from my Google Drive. I will also attach an Apk to this post so you can download it directly.
Features***The simple yet intuitive way to add contacts to your device***
***Automatically scans incoming and outgoing numbers and gives you a popup to add unknown numbers as a new contact***
***Will not drain your battery***
***No unnecessary permissions***
Introduction
I have never used anything other than the default system contact manager to add contacts. It can be a bit cumbersome at times, but I rarely need to add a new number. Instead of adding a new number, I find myself regularly dialing a number that I have memorized instead of taking the extra 30 seconds to add this person to my contacts. This is a terrible habit for organization. SuperContact was created to simplify adding new contacts. SuperContact creates a popup to let you know when you should add a contact.
Let me explain this in detail. Like I said before, I regularly find myself dialing a number from memory that I was too lazy to add to my contacts. After installing SuperContact, whenever a call is sent or received on your phone the number will be checked against your contacts. If the number is already in your contacts then everything runs normal as it always has. If SuperContact detects an unknown number, it will show a toast that says "Check your screen after this call". After your call, just take a look at the screen and you will have a simple alert dialog asking if you would like to add that number as a contact. You can easily add the first and last name of that person in the alert dialog and then submit them to your contacts.
This saves you the time of going into your contacts and perusing through the various menus. This saves you from having to think about it at all, because SuperContact only shows the message when it detects an unknown number. I'm sure your next concern is battery life. There is no drain to your battery AT ALL. I used broadcast receivers to detect the incoming and outgoing calls. The popup activity is only triggered when a call is placed or received and it will close itself after it finishes. I also made these receivers optional. You can simply go into the settings and disable the incoming receiver, or the outgoing receiver, or both. If you disable both, then you can still use the actual SuperContact App to quickly add a new contact on the go.

I just sent out a minor update to fix a few bugs that were reported today. The OP has been updated. Thanks to everyone who has tried the app.
The current version of Parallel Space, which was updated on April 24, 2016, adds a new feature—INVISIBLE INSTALLATION. It enables private and isolated installation of selected Apps, thus hides those apps from mobile.
This new feature is warmly welcomed by many users’ upon its shortly release. It significantly strengthens users’ privacy-protection.

In addition, this version is modified in these ways:
Fixed some crash issues
Fixed an issue of battery draining
Fixed the issue that WhatsApp and BBM don't function well under Android 4.3 and below.
Older versions’ features are still kept, which are:
Login to multiple social networking or gaming accounts at the same time.
• Balance your life and work easily.
• Double your gaming experience and have more fun.
• Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale…Almost all apps are supported.
Notes:
• Permissions: the permissions required by Parallel Space are applied by all the apps running inside. For example, if the location permission is rejected, then you can’t send your location to your friends from WhatsApp in Parallel Space.
• Memory, battery and network traffic consumed by Parallel Space are used by the various apps running inside of it. You can check them in Storage or Task Manager in Control Center in Parallel Space.
• Please add Parallel Space to white list or exceptional list in booster apps to allow social networking apps like Facebook and WhatsApp receive messages in time.
There are supposed to be a different phone number from the main account while trying to login WhatsApp in Parallel Space for the first time, and it should be available to get a verification code. Please note that two WhatsApp of the same phone number can’t be online at the same time.

Great. Hope Whatsapp sleeping problem fixed for LG G4 android 6.
if I could suggest something, I seen a similar app to this and currently trying both of them. I would like suggest making a database of app that work with what android versions. I say this since I've had some apps not work on 5.1.1 and work just fine on 4.4.2.
can you share with us which similar app?

Same here.
LINE and Wechat work fine but Whatsapp is in sleep or killed inside Parallel Space.
Whatsapp woke up sometime when switch wifi.
In fact email client like bluemail didn't connect some times after being used the first time which leads no push notification.
I don't use any task killer or booster app but when checking the task manager inside Parallel Space (P.S. in short) from time to time I found out most of the apps added inside P.S. (Whatsapp and Bluemail for example) get killed. But the original apps work perfectly fine outside P.S.
I really like the idea of P.S. and how it implements that I think most of the members here do as well. I could be a volunteer to be a beta tester if OP has beta version to test out and perfect P.S. further more.
They have beta test

How can I install an invisible app that is not from play store ???
From several apps, I can only clone WhatsApp, Facebook, FB Messenger, Instagram, Snapchat, Chrome, Telegram, Youtube and Chrome. Is this just it? I was expecting more apps, like Uber, Free Fall games, Skype and other games.

Hey,
I developed this app because I'm really an expert in forgetting stuff. I need notifications, that remind me. I know there are some of such apps in the Play Store but there are always some features missing, I'd like to have. With this app you can create Android notifications with title, description, icon, color, ...
Notify me
Here are all the features:
Set title and description of notification
Numerous settings to individualize the notification (Icon, Color, Alarm, App,...)
Daily or weekly repeating alarm
Light and Dark Theme
Numerous Action Buttons for the notification
Material Design
Share notifications
Heads-Up notifications (Android >= 21)
Notifications will be displayed on your Android Wear Smartwatch
Totally free and ad-free
Frequent app improvements based on your feedback

Where is the link man, at least provide the link as a text, when I search for the name, there seems to be a lot of apps like this.
Edit: It took me near to 10 minutes to find the app, I went through a number of notify apps, the app customization is what forced me to look into this.
Thanks anyway.
Oh damn I'm so sorry. Added the link.

If you tried this app with Android 4.1.x and you uninstalled it because it crashed, I would be very happy if you try it out now again. There was a bug only existing for Android 4.1.x, which I did not recognized before.
I released an update because the alarm setting got used way more than expected. It is now possible to set an interval. That means if you want the notification to appear every second monday you can set the first alarm, choose "repeat daily" and instead of "every" you select "Every 14". Furthermore it is now possible to repeat the notification monthly. And if you have a greek phone you can now use this app in your language, too.
Version 1.0.16: - Advanced alarm settings (repeat monthly, intervals)
- Greek added
With the new update it is now possible to change the sound of a notification. You can set it individually for every notification or set the default in the settings.
Version 1.1.2: - You can now change the sound of a notification
Your app is very usefull. I use the notification panel a lot and I can always see my note with this application. It also has everything you need. Thank you.
Thank you! Yes that was the reason why I developed this app. I need to remember a lot of things and ToDo-Lists aren't good enough for me. I always forget to look at them.
So, due to firebase phone may not sleep affecting battery life:
Code:
- Prevent phone from sleeping: Used by Firebase Crash Tool
- Full Internet access: Used by Firebase Crash Reporting Tool
- View Network status / WiFi state: Used by Firebase Crash Reporting Tool
You are right. I never thought about that, thank you! I just removed this permission. I'll test it a bit, if everything still works (it seems so). Then I'll release the update in the next hours/days.
Thanks again for your hint m0d. I've released the update now. The WAKE_LOCK permission is not there anymore and everything still works as expected. Furthermore I changed the icon for the "permanent notification" because it looked weird on some Samsung devices.
Version 1.1.5: - Removed unnecessary permission
- changed icon in status bar
After changig the sound and the color it is now possible to change the LED color (if you have Android >= Lollipop and your device supports changing the LED color). You can decide if the LED should have the same color as the notification.
Version 1.2.5: - You can now choose in the settings, if the LED should have the same color as the background color (only for Android >= Lollipop and not every device supports this setting)
I know the color picker is not the best. I'll try to improve it in one of the next updates.
For all spanish people here. You can now use your app in your language. If you find a wrong translation you can send me an email or fix it on GitHub: https://github.com/Lars3n95/Notify-me
Or if you can speak a language fluently which is not yet existing on GitHub you can add a translation too.
Version 1.2.8: - Added spanish translation
The new color picker is available now. And you can change the snooze duration via keyboard now.
Version 1.2.14: - New color picker
- Snooze duration can now be entered as text (settings) Version
Got some new updates for you:
Version 1.2.19: - You can choose in the settings if you want to see your notifications immediately after creation, before the set alarm
Version 1.2.16: - Removed notifications are ordered differently now. Recently deleted notifications are on top
- Dialog if you want to remove all notifications

For parents: text a code word to your child's mobile phone to find out where they are;
For senior citizens: If you’re lost in the forest, you can easily communicate your coordinates to the rescue services, even if you are out of mobile internet coverage;
For hikers, hunters and extreme sports lovers: in case of injury, your friends or family may quickly locate your phone and call the ambulance;
Even if you drop your mobile phone out in the wild, you can easily locate it!
★ It is free of charge and doesn't require an online login.
★ Three modes of operation:
- automatic reply with the coordinates to a code word text message;
- automatic texting of current coordinates on a regular interval (for instance, every hour);
- automatic texting of current coordinates to a trusted contact by pressing a hotkey.
★ It's easy: just enter your trusted contact number and a code word (such as "1234"). If your phone receives a message containing your code word ("1234"), the application will automatically reply to the sender with a text message containing your current coordinates.
★ It's safe: the two phones communicate directly via SMS, without going online, and avoiding services of third parties.
★ It's thrifty: the application saves your battery life. It runs in the background and activates when it's time to send a message with coordinates.
★ It's informative: a message contains phone's current coordinates, their accuracy (in meters), exact time of locating and the battery power.
★ Localized to two languages (Russian and English, depending on your phone's OS language)
☞ Note:
You will be charged for a standard text message according to your current mobile phone plan.
It is a new version. Please, do not hesitate to report bugs!

Hi.
This icon will hide automatically after sending coordinates. We designed it this way, because our app not a "spy-ware'.
