Just curious, and sorry, but i switched to Samsung from iOS after many years, is there a way to join BETA channel for ONEUI5 / android 13 release ?
for iOS there is developer channel and also public BETA channel available...
If there is, how can i join ?
So far i only found informations that there needs to be announced in Samsung members app but not sure how it works.

You can join the beta thought Samsung member if samsung will launch it in your country. But, since we are talking about Android, you will be able to manually flash the beta even if it's not available in your countyr.

I contacted Samsung today and they confirmed me that s7 will get new user interface just like S8.

You're welcome. I also asked them few days ago will S7 get 7 1.1 Nougat and they told me: "YES. BUT WE ARE NOT SURE WHEN". I hope that they will bring it with 7.1.1. Also they didn't say with what version will S7 get new UI. If I find out I will let you know.

Google is set to release the next iteration of its Android OS Android O on 21 August which is the day of the US total solar eclipse. While we are just a day away from the launch, most of the smartphone manufacturers are now gearing up to provide the new update to their recently launched smartphones. As such, one of the top brands Samsung is also preparing for the update and is looking forward to providing Android O for its smartphones with its Grace UI on top which will be better optimized to run the software smoothly. Looking at Nougat, Samsung got the first updates out to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in China and the UK 143 days after Google released Android 7.0. The update took a grand total of 180 days to reach US shores, landing first on T-Mobile, followed by AT&T the day after and Sprint two days after that. Verizon hobbled across the finish line a couple of weeks later. -- What the actual f(*)ck, samsung?!

Good news for s7 users. But android O is really worst than android N reported by some forums due to less root capabilites and different system structure.

The Nokia 8 is not in the Android Beta programme as it's not compliant with project treble and is not an Android One phone.
However; it's OS is as near as dammit standard Android which should make it easy for HMD/Nokia to bring it Android P quickly, and they've confirmed the phone will receive the update. The main hurdle is the lack of onscreen navigation buttons which play a large part in the UI change, as well as how the data partitions work for the OS. HMD/Nokia have said that they will still bring it Android P in spite of this though.

Hello, I thought the Nokia 8 will receive Beta Android. We received beta Oreo by signing up to it on the Nokia website. Has this changed since?
Nokia 8 had the Android 8.0 beta, am i wrong? What's changed?

yes... sure n8 already get beta android 8. But android 9 i can say "no" .
if n8 can sign use beta android 9 in website, i think hmd release with the time same n7. Not now we dont have any infomation about that.
Nokia 8 Android P/9
Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco will both receive Android 9 beta in November. HMD announced it at the last conference.
As we all know there are Alpha Builds for the Samsung Experience 10/ Android 9 leaked for the Snapdragon S9/S9+/Note9 and it is well rumoured that an alpha build wont be available for exynos devices until the Official Beta by Samsung is released.
This discussion is opened to discuss about the possibile chances to port the builds available for the snapdragon devices to the Exynos devices.

So far there has been many alpha builds released and the latest one seems to work a lot better than the previous builds ( thats how it should be lol ) .
Let's just say it will take much longer than the wait for the beta to port pie from one chip to another

Your Xfinity mobile is a snap dragon device. OP is talking about exynos version. Waiting for official beta will probably be faster.

Anyways today in the samsung+ app there was an official announcement from Samsung about Android Pie.

So I have been using Android 12 Beta since Beta 1 until Beta 3!
It has been performing well so far!
New animation, consistent colors and the experience is awesome!
But bugs do exist but really hope the final version will be great!

Not even sure it's available yet. It was just announced a couple days ago that there will be a One Ui 5 for Watch 4 and 5. The article says what follows is a beta first. Didn't say you can sign up for it yet..lol
I prob wouldn't wanna join beta if I were u.. full of bugs n frustrations.. just wait for official release + a week or two for feedback before upgrading..
