Brick after deleting Google Data A12 - Blackscreen - OnePlus 8T Questions & Answers

Hi Guys,
I guess i ****ed up - i tried getting Google Pay to work with Magisk. Deleted Google Play Services - Google Play Store and Google Pay Data with Titanium Backup (stupid)...
Now after reboot I only get a black screen, system doesnt start. I can get the Power Menu but nothing else. ADB unauthorized - Safe Mode not booting.
Anything else i could try or is it wipe time?
Thanks!

You should have cleared storage of those apps in Settings>Apps, not deleted them.
You can try doing a factory reset using fastboot -w
And if that doesn't work, use MSM.

[Q] Nexus 5 slower after factory reset

Hi i dont know if its just me but i was doing somethin with system app but for some reason i gets wrong and i dont have a nandroid backup yet so i decide to factory reset all goes ok but when i finishes setting up the account and language i got an error its says unfortunately setup wizard has stopped, but lucky i enter playstore and install apex and all its ok so the app wich let me do that was google search but after factory reset i didnt have it so i installed from play store and make it a system app with titanium, is this ok or not, i fell a bit slower the device jeje or nothing happens with this conversion of a user app to a system app? sorry for my english
Well, actually a factory reset is nothing more than deleting the user's data. Files which are stored in the system partition stay untouched. So your modification is still present even after "factory resetting".
Best thing you can do to totally reset it: Download the latest (4.4.2) factory image for "hammerhead" (=Nexus 5 codename) from Google and flash it. It contains all partitions and resets them to it's original state There are tutorials out there on how to flash a factory image
Oh but thats all i did just uninstalled google search and backup with TB but for some reason it doesnt let me to restore it so i have to do the factory reset! but now i installed as a system app is there a big problem with touching that app?=?
Okay, let me summarize what you did:
1) You messed around with system apps.
2) You don't have a Nandroid-Backup - so you choose to factory reset your phone <- Which actually doesn't revert your modifications since the "system" partition remains untouched.
3) You set up your phone again but the system wizard keeps crashing.
4) You installed Apex Launcher and it fixed this problem.
5) Google Search isn't available after the factory reset, so you download it from Play Store and make it a system app.
6) Now your system feels slower in general.
--> Is that correct?
If yes, what exactly do you want to have now? Reset your phone like it was on the first day?
And why did you touch system apps at all? What did you want to modify?
Greets,

Google now stopped working thats why i touch google search jeje

I can only recommend to completely reset your phone by factory image. Trust me, it will remove all your problems!

Play Store acting strange, need help!

Ok so this is a little weird, i have an LG Optimus G on sprint and the other day i restored my stock backup just like iv'e done before but when i went to open the play store to do all the updates it kept closing on me. The strange thing is that the app works fine as long as i don't try to open up the menu to access settings or my apps, i can search for apps just fine but whenever i press on the menu lines it closes and brings up the "unfortunately, google play store has stopped". I tried clearing cache and data, uninstalled updates and uninstalled the app and re installed, made sure downloads and download manager apps are enabled, removed my google account then added it back again but i haven't found anything that has fixed it yet. I tried to go into titanium and restore from there but for some reason it says i have no backups of the play store. Any ideas would be helpful at this point!

Play Store "Download Pending"

Hey all. Recently got a Urbane 2 updated manually to AW2.0. I can't seem to get any Play Store apps to download. They are stuck on "Download Pending".
I tried all the usual quick fixes (clear app data, wipe dalvik/art cache (and cache partition)).
Problem is, I use a Ting SIM card, so I had to root the watch to manually insert APN values using ADB, which also means I have TWRP installed instead of the original recovery.
Should I just try to factory reset? That would take some time for me to reset the APN values and such (I work full time, no free time lol).
Or does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks!
I had the same problem twice,
first check your apps. do you have apps, that are standalone, but have a counterpart on your phone? If yes, try to delete from phone, restart phone and watch and try update again. (I had this with my email, installed later on phone, but choosed standalone earlier on the watch. store not updated anything anymore)
If this not works I had another strange error earlier:
As i flashed my watch, something must have gone wrong, while later in system setting under 'Device Name" there was not the usual "LG Watch 2669"
but something like "pyry0750"
a reflash fixed that.
Both problems casue the play store to "trip".

Clearing the system cache partition

Hi all, something I've been doing for many years after any sort of system update, is I clear the system cache partition - just for tidyness, maybe some placebo effect that it helps battery life.
Anyway, it's not where I would expect it to be, any know how to do it?
Non-root, locked bootloader Xperia 5ii.
It should be on the boot menu but on some phones it's oddly found in settings I believe.
Google it.

I did Google it but it keeps bringing me to older Sony devices. I'm used to it being in recovery boot (Vol - + Power) but I can only see option for a full wipe/system restore.

Yeah I see what you're saying. Call Sony or your carrier.
Hopefully someone knows what going on with this.
Try sd maid pro, It can clean apps cache. Or Twrp wipe.

SD Maid can't touch the system cache and normally has a default value it ignores when cleaning app caches. Best to manually clean suspect ones.
When clearing apk data doing it in Settings can leave what I presume to be nulls behind.
I had an a Android system apk that in Settings I couldn't completely clear it but this app could.

It saved me from a factory reset. Another reason this app is a useful, versatile and powerful tool that I value.
