Question Locked phone - Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3

I bought a Samsung Z flip 3 on eBay. Changed out all the parts on it. When turning on the phone it is locked. Phone will not go into recovery mode tried everything possible. Is there a way to flash a different firmware on the device to bypass everything. I cannot get into the phone since it is locked any help would be great.

Have fun with your "bought" z flip 3

Flash back latest firmware thru Odin

┤Mod Edit├┤Quoted post removed├
It's locked which means flashing through Odin will just frp lock your phone, so once again enjoy your "bought" z flip 3
If you really bought it through eBay you'd have returned it by now and given how hostile you're being I'd say I hit the nail on the head with that one
Want real advice? maybe buy your own stuff instead of stealing it from others then trying to trick other people into helping you commit a crime. I don't really care if what you're describing is actually what's happening, given your reaction and how many holes can be picked into your story just at face value, I'd be spamming X right now

Security steps to sell g1 (noob warning)

Caveat: I am a noob and tried to search first but got too many conflicting threads which did not entirely apply to my phone as far as I could understand. Please no flaming if I am beating a dead horse. I swear the horse died before I started beating it.
You may have read my recent thread where I had asked about how to fix my g1 which was sold to me and the rom crashed leaving it "soft bricked".
Since it was taking so long and I got a good deal on it, I went ahead and bought the Samsung Galaxy S. While waiting for this phone to ship, I have fixed the G1 through the unlocker website's guide for one click rooting.
I started to begin the sign in process after re-rooting the phone with unlocker's generic mod but then thought better since my phone would sync.
My question is since I have gone through the unlocker website's process to re-root the phone, is there any personal info left on the phone that I should remove and how would I do that?
Would it be better, if by re-rooting the phone it wipes all info, to sell it as is?
Should I jail break it and sell it and therefore get more for it?
Should I keep the the sd card?
The phone is in good condition with only minor damage to the sides from dropping it, a screen protector and worked perfectly when I signed in on the original platform.img and I have two batteries for it; the double size and original and two backs and one protective case which I could not put on the larger backing of the larger battery which I should have looked harder for one to fit it eliminating the aesthetic scuffs on the side.
All advice is appreciated; thanks guys.
P.S. I will resist messing with the Samsung or at least backup more often b/c I lost a lot of buisness info when the G1 crashed. Although, I have already applied the GPS fix...it was on cnet for goodness sakes, how could I resist?

Three UK ROM? Dust under screen and other concerns

I bought this phone second hand literally YESTERDAY and am having a number of concerns already.
First off I found dust under the screen. Not just subtle dust. Irrittating sprinkles of dust under the screen. I am not on Network 3, I am on T-Mobile but unlocking the phone seemed simple enough. HOWEVER. The HTC guy I spoke to whilst arranging a warranty repair informed me that they are VERY strict about people tampering with software, and that even an unofficial unlock code could somehow void the warranty. Not only does there appear to be no Three ROM to flash back onto this device but there is seemingly no way to lock it back to Three in the not unlikely event of dust reappearing when the device comes back from HTC. My question really is - is there any way I've overlooked to get this phone back to EXACTLY as it is now for warranty purposes should I ever choose to unlock and debrand it, or should I just cut my losses and sell the thing on as soon as it comes back from repair?
My Galaxy S2 seems like so much less hassle. Ironically I've come to the Sensation because of the supposedly better build quality of the HTC device but I'm a bit disappointed with that and the long-winded techniques required to actually do any Modding to the device.

[Q] Selling my VZW SG3 ideas for listing?

I have an SG3 that is stock, rooted running 4.3 that I am going to sell on ebay. I am open to ideas on how to list it to attract the most buyers. Here are the details:
A. Works...
B. ...Most of the time--I replaced it today because I think there is something wrong with the power button. It was doing strange unlock stuff like waking up and going to sleep on its own, powering on by itself, and the power off menu kept popping up.
C. It has a small crack on the lower right front. Usually a case covers it and you don't really see it.
D. I just installed Xposed on it.
E. Will include wall adapter, two cases, the original box, and the flip cover back door.
F. Pebble Blue 16 GB
Can you think of other things I should include in the listing? I've never sold anything on Swappa, so I don't know how it works. I try to avoid CL.
Thanks in advance.

The camera quality is terrible on my new Z3

Hey everyone,
After a long wait I finally received my Z3 (Dual) today. My last Android phone was an S2 back in the day, I have used a lot of Android phones since, but I haven't owned one. After the S2 I was on the iPhone 5, then recently a Lumia 930 for two weeks until I realised every app I needed was a) on windows phone but a terrible app, or b) 'in development'. I decided to head back to Android and the Z3 caught my eye, specifically the dual. I'm loving it so far, the only issue I'm having is the camera. It's beyond terrible.
The pictures are so bad that I am now starting to think that the online retailer (grey import) that I purchased this from may have sold me a refurbished phone with an unlocked bootloader. When I opened the box, the protective plastic on the phone had air bubbles all over the front and back which is a bit odd but that doesn't guarantee anything. I went to the service menu and checked there, it says the bootloader is allowed to be unlocked which implies that it hasn't actually been unlocked. If somebody did unlock it, can it be locked again?
I'm not sure what to do. If the camera really is this bad I need to get a different phone. I've been looking at the waterproof feature too and I've seen several posts about Sony refusing to honour the warranty on phones that have been exposed to salt water which is a bit stupid - what kind of pool doesn't have salt? (In Australia anyway). The grey importer I purchased this from will definitely not honour any warranty for water damage, I'm sure they'll go out of their way to find how you yourself voided the warranty. Unfortunately this model isn't available to purchase directly from Sony yet.
In saying that though, the waterproof + dual sim features were the reason I purchased the phone to begin with so if I can find a solution to this, that would be ideal. Out of all the new Android phones I've used this one is by far the snappiest, I really like it
Any help would be appreciated. And I apologise for the long post, I just needed to get my day 1 issues with this phone out there
Edit: I also just noticed, the box of the phone itself was a bit odd in that the cover just came right off. The cover wasn't taped down with a sticker to the box. For example when I opened my Lumia box I had to remove the sticker, which left a permanent mark on the box to indicate that it had been opened. Is this normal with Sony mobiles?
So when I submitted this post I realised that you can't share links on this forum if you have less than 10 posts. I'm not sure how to get my images across then without doing this dropbox/sh/5o72xpbc6ip3g7e/AACXyG80777D3foAVXNOkZdda?dl=0#/
I hope that doesn't cause any issues. I just didn't want to go spam 10 posts which I think would be worse than ^
Also I just noticed in this thread OP mentions that he unlocked/relocked his bootloader. So it is possible?
the out of the box camera quality wasn't that great for me, at least until I switched to manual within the camera settings and opted for 21 megapixels - I'd say the camera is reasonably good but not excellent, as long as you know how to use it - as an aside, if the bootloader had been unlocked before it was sold on to you wouldn't this cripple the bravia image enhancement within the display settings - might be worth a look?
Stick to manual, for better pics. 8MP seems better than 20MP which is darker.
If it helps at all my service menu says "Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes" and my phone was definitely factory new (sealed) when I got it. If the bootloader on your phone has been unlocked in the past apparently that removes the DRM keys which hits the camera quality.
Send us a picture from ur device in differents lighting

frp

I find myself a little overwhelmed by all the firmware #s and what is ok and isn't. So...lol
I found this galaxy s7 edge on the side of the road. Its beat up pretty bad. I mean, it looks wrecked, but surprisingly the screen is in almost perfect shape. Anyway, there was a screen lock on it so I factory reset it..and you know the rest so..
Its at 7.0 (g935vvru4bqf2) from what i've read I need to downgrade and then it will allow side sync to pop up on frp on phone.. Correct?
I'm confused which firmware to download and flash with Odin ttyl put the phone back to where that will happen. I've also heard it has to have ph1 or something. Dunno. Hope someone gets this..lol
