I believe you mean RW. The chinese Aurora ROM has RW in all folders, but it is a bit bugged due to being a CHN CSC. I had trouble with keys cafe, but could fix it. I couldn't make Samsung Dex work and gave up on it. You can try that.
Or wait for some good dev to make a kernel or something that makes system RW. I think @afaneh92 is the one that can do that.
EDIT: I say we should see what Aurora Rom did and do the same to get that full system RW, hahaha. But I'm no dev and not knowledgeable enough. I'm up to help and test if needed, though.

ps: why you need to delete anything? not a good idea

Why thefiredragon the publisher of VendorRW did not give me credit and deleted me from my own program while at the same time crediting himself and his friends inside my script? That's pure evil right there!
What's his xda user name? Please @Thefiredragon if you can read this contact me. I am waiting for your apology. Thanks!
I am willing to give you another chance if you do the right things from now on. You should properly give credits if you use other people's hard work! Asking for permission is even better! And you can't just delete other fellow open source programmers from their own program and put your name on it and reupload it. That's just wrong!
If only you hadn't deleted me from my own program, I would've almost liked your VendorRW copycat script.
You have potential to become a good programmer some day (if you switch from the dark side of the force to the good side of the force that is). And you should definitely work on your creativity. You seem to be lacking that. Go outside in nature and get some inspiration. Read a book or something. Who knows maybe some day you will become creative enough to come up with your own program from scratch like I did.
And you deleting all my comments and my disclaimer from my script is just inexcusable! That's usually the first thing these intellectual property thieves do...
Open source ain't what it used to be...

Idk what that was about, but I believe you can help us get full system RW as well. I sent you a PM so I can help (anyway I'm capable). Let's do this =)
@maliki it's not about the explorer. We do not have system RW, so even that root explorer says it's RW, you won't be able to edit files there. We need a kernel.

Basically I want to be able to remove all of the system apps that I would normally on a Samsung device. As well as remove sounds at it sounds edit the s pen and at the charge sound etc. Basically all the extra stuff nobody else does but I love to do.
I'm actually in the process of returning this phone to sender tomorrow just for this cause. So once this gets resolved if it does I will purchase again potentially. Really hate to send it back because I do like the phone but this is my make or break. Get another reason I really hate Android 12.

Another reason is I can't get YouTube Vance to work. If I could get YouTube Vance to work as well as viper4android I'd probably MAYBE keep the phone. But not being able to edit and remove system apps entirely instead of just disabling is really a turn-off.

I want to delete system apps. I literally delete 70% of apps and I'm not a normal super user.
I want to edit the Spen sound for a light sabre noise or some other noise when I pull it out and insert it. I want to do my tweaks to the Media scripts and boost the volume. There are tons of reasons why I need and want access to system R/O if I can't full on Admin like windows I don't want it

I completely feel you. I am just the same. I love doing those small tweaks. However I don't have tje option to return the phone, nor would I because of that.
And unless you get an older phone with an older android version, you're probably going to get the same issue.
I spent weeks trying to make Viper4Android to work with no success. I'm not even sure why tje drivers couldn't be installed. Maybe something about its library not being compatible with newer 64 phonea, which means that we would have to wait forbsomeone to update the app (maybe forever). Then, I managed to get JamesDSP to work just like V4A or even better. Jdsp is as good, if not better, than v4a. It's just waay nore complex to set and you need files for convolver and ddc. But you can get a better sound than V4A. Look for it.
About Vanced, i just installed it right now. However, I read somewhere that Google finally got them and they wont be able to update the app, which means that when YouTube gets more updates and vanced can't keep up, it won't work anymore. So we might start looking for another solution soon.
You are mistaking Read/Only with Read/Write. We want R/W. And to get that we need experient devs like the ones I called in this thread.
@lebigmac is a dev that developed a tool that gave RW access and worked for several devices. I'm sure with some tweaks he will be able to get it on S22 line.
And we know it's possible because the chinese did it in their rom.

No, I'm saying the chinese rom Aurora ROM have full R/W, in all folders. You can flash this rom in your device, no matter where it's from.
However, probably we will get full rw for stock too soon.

So if I had the S908E I could flash the S9080 and have the ability to delete the system apps correct? I literally returned the phone like 2 days ago can you please take some time out your day to try this out and show me screen shots? Hate to go through the hassle to buy another one for it not to actually work.
In root explorer it is set to RW but I need it set to RO so I can delete.

My phone is exactly the S908E and I flashed Aurora rom (S9080). I could editbany folder in root path. I wont flash aurora rom again to prove because its a pain in the ass to flash things without an sdcard.
You should get it anyway, if you liked it, because probably we will get system rw soon here in xda.

I'm going to probably hold off and wait until it is 100%. So to further make sure I understand you plainly, you can go into the system root folder and delete pre-installed apps like tag and YouTube and Google maps and all that correct? Can you send me a link to the specific Aurora firmware?

But to answer your question I absolutely love the phone! But for the cause of the above mentioned I had to get rid of it.

Well, I didn't do that when I was with Aurora rom, but yeah, i could edit folders that i can't right now with just the TWRP (vendor rw only).
I wasn't the only one that flashed aurora. You can ask people in this thread here:
Need to install Auora chinese cutsom rom. Anybody chinese here?
I have received snapdragon variant in my country that wont support much custom rom but i seen auroa chinese custom rom but I'm unable to download from chinese website. Can someone Chinese share Auroa rom here so that I can enjoy your chinese rom...
forum.xda-developers.com
As well as find links for the TWRP and rom.
However, i dont recommend the rom, because due to the chinese CSC i had some issues. Keys cafe had to be tweaked to work and Samsung Dex didn't work and i didnt even have the patience to try make it work. Got back to stock.
If you loved the phone you will get it back, lol. Wait a bit for full rw folders and you'll be happier than ever.

What can Androidiani do for you or me?

So a fair amount of people are using Androidiani Open Recovery, myself included now, but I have a few questions about it. Namely what everything does. In the menu there are all sorts of things to do and use, but I am not sure what they actually do. I know about memhack, kernal optimization and zipalign, but what about all the other Froyo mods and tweaks in there?
For some reason, I can't attach a screen shot to this, but some of them are Istall Mod -conservative/interactive, Memory manager, vm heap size,...
The most helpful feature of AOR is the possibility to check the sd card. No need to plug the card to the pc for checks.
I also use zipalign after restoring my apps in a new rom.
With the adblock script you can update the host file to prevents ads in apps or in browser.
So, the one thing about Androidiani is that it's developed by A853 users, so I've never touched the baseband utilities out of fear it will do something bad.
It's nice to have access to system apps to get rid of what I don't want (or pull out a system apk) after a new flash. I also keep a copy of the latest system apps as a theme so after a new flash I can just apply the "theme" & have all the current versions of Maps, Facebook, etc.
I've never tried the kernel optimization because I wasn't' sure if I should use the froyo or the eclair as we still have the eclair kernel.

I know better than that. Baseband messing is Badddd! I am more interested in the Memory tweaks and things like that.

I tried the one for Froyo and not sure if it worked or not but let's just say it didn't "screw" anything up (as far as I know). I did have to re-root though and re-allow all the superuser permissions and overclock again. But as far as performance, it didn't hinder anything and it might be a plecebo effect, but I feel it is somewhat more stable. Could be in my head though.
Mioze7Ae ~ This is one of those times I was talking about in the SUperoneclick question where I had to use Unversal Androot and it worked just fine.

Fix permission will work if it was a permission problem.
Got a question about this. After a few weeks of flashing the special, Wanhu, CM6...I noticed that AOR wouldn't let me flash update.zips for some reason. Awhile ago, I had this problem and either 3rdstring or Mz advised me to reinstall AOR. I did and everything worked. Now that the the CM6 is out and primarily done through updated.zips, I found a problem again. When AOR installs, it loads up a bunch of pix that show up in my media gallery. If I leave them in there, I can use the update.zip just fine. If I delete these pix, then it creates the problem that will not let me use that function. I can probably put a .nomedia in there somewhere, but not sure where. Has anyone else had this problem. It is AOR 3.3 in case you are wondering.
I read through this thread a week back. Im now using Androidiani with stock CB 2.1 Could anyone please guide me to which optimizations to use with 2.1, how they work and what works on our XT720? I would really appretiate it thanks!

What I have used is the Zipalign, obviously the wipes and resets, the fix permissions works really well (especially when flashing in between ROMs), Mchlbenner uses the Overclock settings. Haven't used anything in the memory settings like VM heap or anything like that.
Probably the things I use the most are in the menu utilities and the SD and SD-ext scans to make sure card is working. I usually do this before I flash a ROM and then once after I boot up totally. Seems redundant but it has saved me a card before b/c of a bad partition.
Mioze added a script for link2sd/app2ext (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1177020&page=61) sorry don't know how to put just a plain "here" and have the link embedded.
If you use any of the modding menus, use the Eclair one b/c it is based off the kernal version. I know that 3rdstring uses AOR quite often to apply apps and such. May want to ask him about setting that up.

No problem. I think it's time we start creating our own baseband files for XT720. I've been poking around inside the Androidiani ones. I think they're just updates that only mess with the /system partition, so maybe worst case your phone stops working with the network until you get the right baseband back in. I think I know where to extract files from the SBFs to create our own, so we should be able to start making some XT720 specific ones.

I think the hosts file in the adblock is way old by now. At least it seems I start to get ads every few weeks and have to install a new hosts file. I just hosed my phone so I can't check, but I think AdFree is the app I use for that.
I already made baseband update for our phone. I used one from androidian and replace our files with theirs.
Sent from my Milestone using XDA App
I figured out the maps issue. Apparently the new version of google maps has 3D maps and wasn't avaibable in my country. I just used market enabler and downloaded it. Lol its stupid, I mean dont let someone update just because of country they live in? Ill wont have 3D at home, but I can use it if i travel abroad. Anyways!
I use adfree too but the recent update screwed everything up. I just revert to previous build using TB and it still works for me. If I can pull that one out ill pm you with it, since not thread relavent. Btw ads in Angry Birds are embedded in software, so adfree wont work for some reason. Check adfree's review in market and they tell you why.
Has anyone used the compress option when making a back up? It is there, but I wonder what it will do? Does it function properly? I seem to remember reading something about compressing ad back up and it get corrupted or something like that but I can't remember when or where I read it.
What functionality does the Compress back up do (and please do say something like "it makes it smaller")? Does it work?

[Q] Newly Rooted User With Questions.

First off, great forum, tons of awesome information.
I apologize in advance as I am sure these questions have been answered a million times but being new to a Rooted device, I'm looking for a little clarity and guidence.
I have the AT&T variant of the LG G3, awesome awesome device.
I rooted the device with Stump Root (doesn't get any simplier then that)
I then installed "Xposed Installer", "Titanium Backup", "SuperSu", and "G3 Tweak Box".
Questions,
Xposed
1) Seems pretty straight forward, is there anything as a newbie I should know, avoid, lookout for?
Titanium Back Up
1) Well, it all looks like chinese to me. First off, I have backed up all my apps, but when I check "Backup/Restore" I still see certain apps as "No Backup Yet". Why?
2) Also, how often should I backup the apps? Is once enough?
3) After backing up bloatware, is it then safe to remove and delete?
4) Schedules, should I be enabling either option?
5) Main Menu, whats the most important actions to take here?
SuperSu
1) Seems fairly straight forward, what are "logs" and do I need to pay attention to them?
2) Settings, is there any options I need to change, take advantage of? Anything I should avoid tampering with?
Misc Questions
1) When system updates come out, will this cause me to lose Root access, if so why and how do I avoid that?
2) Is there any prevenitive measures that I need to take to protect my device against any crashes, bricking, or any other general screw ups a newbie might cause with Root access?
3) Also, how do I not destroy my device while learning to take advantage of Root access?
4) In addition to what I have already installed, is there any other must have apps for the Rooted user?
I appreciate any & all help, thanks alot in advance!
I'll answer what I can, as best I can.

Make sure you have BusyBox installed as well.
It's best to change one setting at a time. It's tedious, especially if you have to reboot after changes, but if something goes awry, it's much easier to track down the conflict or bug, especially if you're using multiple modules.

There's a definite learning curve with TB. I'm not sure why some apps might not back up. It could be because they're core components of the OS and are write protected.

When talking about batch backups, "enough" is at your discretion. No harm in doing them periodically, especially if you install a bunch of new apps. Backing up individual apps is good to do before updating them, in case you decide you preferred the older version. Or a game you don't want lose progress in or revert to an old "save".

Depends on the bloat. Some apps by AT&T or LG might seem unnecessary or unwanted, but actually are necessary and can cause crashes or force closes ("unfortunately XXXXX process has stopped"). Always back them up first, and remove them one at a time. It's better to freeze them first, then delete after testing. Personally, I don't delete bloat, just freeze it.

PIN code is your choice. If you're the only one that ever uses your phone, it's not really necessary, but if if you let others use it frequently(for games, or to browse or log into Facebook), you might want to use a PIN so they don't simply hit "grant" whenever SuperSU requests rights. I use "prompt" as the default action, so I know what needs to access the system. For example, some apps that don't require root (like Clean Master) have additional functions if you are rooted, and this might not be clear in the description in Play. That way you know, and you won't accidentally screw something up. Also, malicious apps that have no business with root access can be identified and blocked.
Misc Questions

You can sometimes (usually?) lose root access after an update, but it's usually possibly simply to re-root with the same method. If not, it's best to wait to do the update until others can confirm/deny. SuperSU has a "survival mode" that can try to keep root during an update, but again, it's best to wait for confirmation by others.
2) Is there any prevenitive measures that I need to take to protect my device against any crashes, bricking, or any other general screw ups a newbie might cause with Root access?

Read, ask, and learn. It's easy to grow confident and think you're more clever than you really are and really screw something up (I know from experience). If you look at the first couple pages of general Q&A/Help forums, you'll see lots of people who did stupid stuff and now have bootloops and crashes and bricks. Do lots of searches, here, on google, and youtube. You can often find guides for what you're wanting to do.

AdAway or other ad blocker. Not only does it block ads in your browsers, it blocks Google ads in free apps. Apart from being cleaner and more convenient, since ads don't get loaded, pages load faster and you consume less data.
BetterBatteryStats gives you much more info on what's draining your battery than the stock Android function.
Some sort of root browser/explorer is essential. You can use it to completely delete folders/data that got left behind even after an app is deleted (which can sometimes cure Google Play Store errors), among other things.
I personally like ROM Toolbox Pro. It doesn't really do anything special, just packs a ton of utilities that you can get elsewhere into a single app.
SQLite editor is necessary to do some things, but you'd better make sure you know what you're doing before doing anything with it.
WiFi Tether Router might be able to bypass AT&T's tether app. Changing some settings with SQLite might be necessary. You'd have to research this for your device.
Those are the root apps I use, as well as Xposed and assorted modules to do theming or other functionality tweaks. Xposed is quite powerful, and you should familiarize yourself with what the multitude of different modules can do. The possibilities are seemingly endless, as developers come up with no mods every day to do new things that nobody else has done yet (or ported other mods to work with other devices).
I appreciate any & all help, thanks alot in advance!

If not, it's best to wait to do the update until others can confirm/deny. SuperSU has a "survival mode" that can try to keep root during an update, but again, it's best to wait for confirmation by others.
Good luck and have fun!

Thanks for the detailed response. Just a follow up, when googling AdAway, I see some long threads and what I think are different versions, is there a link, or a place that I can find the latest (and safe??) version to download?
Again, appreciate the feedback.

If you haven't done so already, you'll have to go into your settings and check the box to allow app installation from unknown sources. Then just go to that link on your device, download the .apk, then install. Go to a site with a heavy amount of ads like phonearena.com (Verizon ads up the wazoo) and see how long it takes to load. Then reboot, and load the app. It'll update sources, and it'll be good to go. Go back to that website and marvel at how quickly it loads without the ads.

Is this a Xposed Module or some APK off the google market? Because if it's an Xposed Mod then links are direct.

No. I don't know what that is, and I can't recreate whatever you did to get that. Whatever it is, don't install it.The file to download will match the name in the description. Make sure you're not clicking an ad (oh, the irony).
Try this link instead. https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?fdid=org.adaway or try downloading on your computer to Dropbox or Drive or whatever cloud storage you use, or just download it to your computer, plug in your phone, copy it to your phone's storage, and run it from there.

Neither. It's not an Xposed module, just a regular app, but it's not available from the Google Play Store because they don't want you blocking your ads, so you have to side load it.

Oh alright, thanks then, good thing we're all developers here.

[Zip][Script][SS][NI2][Extreme Debloater][The PURGE v1]

The PURGE
Since I am patiently waiting for Lollipop to come out for our device, I decided to make a flashable debloat script which will be called "The PURGE."
I have had many requests to continue development for my ROM and found it easier to make this vs. maintaining a ROM. With that being said, I will be making other versions of the script but wanted to start off with a bang with an EXTREME debloat script!
Disclaimer:
I am not responsible if your phone blows up! This script will remove anything listed below if it is on the device. If it is not on the device it will not do anything! Therefore, if you use something that's listed to be removed, then do NOT complain. I am sure there are many on here that can help you get the one or few things you do use back on the device without a problem as well as a lot of the applications can be installed from the Play Store or simply taken from a stock (non debloated) ROM.

-/system/wakeupdata (Not sure either, but not needed)
-/system/lost+found (Usually deleted by Devs anyways, not sure what it is but not needed)
-/system/etc/secure_storage/com.sec.knox.store (Knox related, usually also removed by ROM devs by default)
-/system/tima_measurement_info (Not sure but not needed)
Keep in mind since this initial version is the most extreme, using it can and will render things such as UPSM and SHealth to not work similar to my Extreme Syndicate ROM.
If you find anything on your device that isn't already removed please let me know so I can add it to the script! I will also be updating it as I go and as I find more things to remove.
I do not have a estimate, but I would imagine what is removed with this script will remove 600-700+ MB from the ROM itself! I have tested on Ricks Rom v19.5 and system RAM is down to ~800mb which has basically freed up about 1gb of system RAM which in turn allows for a smoother faster and leaner device!
This did take some time.. Of course I already had a strong idea of what to remove based on the work that I've already done with Extreme Syndicate but the script had to be typed up manually with each application/file as well as I had to do a clean install more than once to find some straggling applications before I got it to how I wanted it!
All I ask is that you at least hit the thanks button and if you can spare some change don't be afraid to donate!
Eventually I will be making specific debloat scripts to remove certain applications such as only removing Verizon bloatware, or only removing Samsung bloatware etc. I am also messing around with Android Studio to hopefully one day be able to make an application that is device specific that will automate the process by selecting it in an actual application. This would sort of be like an Aroma installer except an application that you can run on the phone while its booted up and no need for recovery.
As always, thanks for trying out The PURGE and let me know what you think of it!
Install Instructions:
1) Download the Zip file
2)This should work on any stock ROM! (If the files aren't there to be removed it shouldn't do anything at all. I recommend to do a clean install, let phone boot up and then go into recovery and flash it. This is because it does remove the setup wizards so it's recommended you set the phone up first and then reboot to recovery and flash the script.)
3) Boot into recover and flash the Zip
4) Done!

yea, figured id make a list lol. i did leave in clocks, calculators, calendars etc... theres also more hidden stuff i can remove but that is the bulk of it..
the sounds, launchers n some of the apks are large as well and there are 3rd party apps that are smaller in size but that is where a rom is more suitable lol
Im alsothinking about making it so it will add build.prop tweaks n other stuff but thats later down the road lol
Glad your still highly active in the forums and churning out some goodies....
Looks nice trying this on optimal as I type this

let us know how it goes! I think most stuff removed shouldnt affect much on other ni2 roms.. might however on eclipse which is highly modified.. or alliance.. long as they dont use any of the removed apps listed here for anything major then it should b good
I also was making a rom (Extreme Syndicate v2.5) but on first boot the toggles wouldnt come up and settings button from drop down didnt work (works from settings in app drawer).. so i gotta figure that out when i have time.. unless of course misterxtc or someone knows how to fix it then i can upload it and have thread reopened.. it has much the same as v2.1 (not themed) but call lag issue is gone lol it mistve been something i removed from system folder.. its around 500mb in size since i left some stuff in this go around

So far no issues, fc's anythi MG of that nature. Optimal is running somewhat smoother than it already does and definitely nice to be under the 200 system app mark now as I was unsure of some things to remove. No complaints here so far
yea it flash in a split second too lol
It took maybe a quarter of a second to flash hahaha. I was impressed lol
Thank you so much Elliwigy! I was one of the people asking for this! Haha. My only question is - On Extreme Syndicate I had some issues connecting to my PC as an MTP device/being able to plug in and view it as a drive to easily drag & drop files to and fro. Should I expect anything like that from this script or no?
You're the best! Now for the black&white... lol

Nope.. it doesnt remove the mtp like the rom did so plugging it in a pc should work out the box
Thanks for making this elliwigy. Is there a way to edit what is deleted? I tried changing the updater-script but when I went to flash it said something about the binary not working.
I wanted to leave the google stuff (I know I could re-download it but I figured why not leave it) and I really wanted to keep the emergency alert stuff (cmas). I figure the emergency alert is good to have, in case of an emergency

All you really would need to do is from a pc open the zip using 7zip and then go to the updater script, right click and press edit.. remove the line you want to keep then go to file and save.. it will ask you again to save in zip and say yes.. it should work.. ive had issues trying to edit updater scripts on the phone if thats what u tried

Thanks for the 7zip tip. I previously extracted the zip, edited the script, and then remade the zip. Something didn't work right, but the method you mentioned did. Thanks!
was hoping there would be a list of removed apps for the "perfect debloat" eventually. thanks for the post up. This helps with rom creation as well
Although, does this cause the issue I was having with Extreme Syndicate about not having the multi tasking work at all? softbuttons and hardware bring up no multi tasking for me

[DISCONTINUED] Turboid 1.13

Now that we've got some Sunshine in our lives, sadly (not really) it is time for Turboid to be retired. We don't need it anymore.
If you would like to set up a rom on your unlocked Turbo that has all the features that Turboid had, upgrade to SU4TL-44, unlock with Sunshine, install TWRP, and flash following:
1. SuperSU: https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/
2. Busybox: http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...-busybox-v1-23-2-stericson-flashable-t3114476 (NOTE: This is not the latest version, but you need to have busybox flashed before you flash Pon-3. Once you boot the phone, use Busybox Installer by Stericson in the Play Store to update to the latest version).
3. Pon-3: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2530976
4. Xposed Framework: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 (Make sure to flash the correct SDK for the rom that you're running. SDK21 = Lollipop 5.0.X. SDK22 = Lollipop 5.1.X. SDK23 = Marshmallow 6.X. Also, always use the ARM version.)
5. iOS 9.1 emojis: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/themes-apps/mod-ios-emojis-android-t3231571
Once all that's flashed, let the phone boot up. Wiping cache and dalvik cache is always a safe bet after flashing anything. Once it boots, do the following:
1. Go back to the Xposed page and install the Installer apk.
2. Get Adaway here: https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?fdid=org.adaway (Install using the default settings. No need for redirecting the hosts file anymore.)
3. Better Battery Stats is here if you like: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809
4. The Turbo 2 command center is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-turbo/themes-apps/droid-turbo-2-command-center-root-t3244386
I think that about covers it. Go forth and flash! Thanks for letting me play dev for a few months.
Thanks to:
@computerfreek274 for his excellent roms, his dedication to them and for our SELinux discussion
@JulesJam for her various guides and posts that taught me how to do most of this
@btdownloads7 for answering my question about the HDR bug
@DespairFactor for the iOS 9.1 emoji port
@mrchezco1995 for showing myself and the world how awesome ponies can sound via Pon-3
And at long last, thanks to @jcase and @beaups for kicking Motorola and Verizon in their bootloader-locked balls!
Awesome man. Nice to have some options, even if they are fairly similar. Thanks. :good:

Unlike the other images floating around, I started off with the stock SU3TL-39 system image from the full Verizon firmware. To the best of my knowledge, the other roms are based off of firstEncounter's 5.1 image, which was obtained in a different way. Does this matter? Probably not, but at the time I thought that this might fix the HDR bug, and it did, but probably not for that reason.

There's a SU3TL-39 full firmware? My images were based on the SU3TL-38 and updated to SU3TL-39 by emulating the OTA script.
(Also, HDR works on my images, for whatever it's worth)
Regardless, always glad to see more development for the Turbo!

Yep! You can get it on the motofirmwares website. Yeah, someone confirmed for me the other day that it works on your image now. In the past, I had flashed it and it didn't, but you've updated it since I did that. So I guess HDR working isn't really a feature anymore. I'm working on some gimmicks to make my image a little more relevant though.
Would it be possible for you to allow us to claim space to the area where the Google Search Bar is, when it is hidden? Also, I would like to be able to clear all the open applications without having to swipe them all one at a time. Is that possible?

I'll look into the Google search bar thing. I've never seen my screen without it, so I didn't know that the space wasn't automatically used. As for the clear all recents thing, that is one of the many features of Gravity Box for LP (a well known xposed module). Try that. I'll see if there's a way to bake it into the rom too.
I posted on the other thread about this, but I will say again here, this img is great. Has similar battery life to the other Lp img I was running, despite not having tweaks. I unplugged at 530 am. been kicking butt all day long. I streamed via Bluetooth for 2 hours driving at work, and noticed better 4g signals than I have had yet at my work using this img. There were zero glitches or bugs that I noticed. I am still at 8% battery, atm. I had a crapload of SOT. Look for yourself. amazing img. thank you!!!
p.s. I just noticed I have had max brightness all day as well. lol.
I just realized you removed the corporate email app (after a day or use, haha). Is there a way that I can side load it or something? I love the debloated ROM, but that is one app I need for my college email account.
Also, is it ok to update Moto Actions? You can understand why I ask that!
^^^ I used the Outlook app as a replacement today. Gmail also will allow you to add other email accounts now, so that may be why. As far as requests, my only one may not be reasonable or practical, but it would be a deodexed version of this. Again, awesome work.
Yeah, specifically, I need the exchange piece. I tried the outlook app, but it doesn't handle certain things as well. I also tried installing Google Email 6.5 as well as the Exchange Services apk, but I know I have to be missing something... Actually, probably lots of things! haha.
Also, adaway doesn't work with this build, is that right?

I just realized you removed the corporate email app (after a day or use, haha). Is there a way that I can side load it or something? I love the debloated ROM, but that is one app I need for my college email account.
Also, is it ok to update Moto Actions? You can understand why I ask that!

I added the stock email app back. Side loading didn't work. Will be up in a few hours.
thats cool. honestly, deodexing is removing all of the .odex files from the rom. (located at /system/app , system/priv-app, etc.
the reason i ask about it is it would make theming easier. mind you, without system r/w access, it is a moot point. it may make the theme options available work better though. (LPthemer module comes to mind). CF has said he will not be doing that at any point, so it may be a PITA.

Oh. That's it? I can do that in 2 seconds. I thought there was something more to it.
1.02 looks like the perfect ROM for me! Thanks @TheSt33v

apk wont get installed..several (its not access)

its a pretty fresh install, ota 015,twrp/magisk --SN fine.
i could install the typical things like openvpn, titanium, etc
but apk make problems, the usual tools wincomm/total,google drive...have access.
still the files get dl'ed, and i hit install,it goes up to about 90%.. then "app not installed"(11differend apk, from all kind of sources, and quite clean)
-the system is quite fresh, all 11 programs/tools would be a firsttimer on the phone
-i even cleared via twrp the delvic/art ,just in case.
i mean,i managed to hardbrick the phone in less then 6 hours after getting it(youtube link wrong boot img,and it could only get worse), unbricked it in 30 minutes via chinatool(needed that darn driver).
of course the 2nd day of install wont get smooth...
maybe someone has a idea,or maybe i have to get chinatool again...
I use Fx file explorer with root plugin them just install apk with root installer usually gets part that problem.
But would also check make sure you don't already have newer version of apk installed.
Other reason for this problem not having necessary dependencies installed like Google framework etc.
If root installer doesn't get desired results you will med to provide more detailed info. ( ie what apk, etc) and someone might be able to provide assistance.
apps2sd clean broken apps then reinstall might help

that worked for some things, for others i found a workaround,i like that tool, but this ads are annoying, luckypatcher couldnt remove them.
about the apk's, some are clearly not to speak of here, others are just systemmanagement, like a most simple app to change and block speaker,i cant stand, and never accept the speakerfunction,if i phone then at my ear,or via bluetooth, and to avoid any probs ,duo missclicking and loadspeak in a area where you should not,i block them by force. finding such a app on playstore....good luck
howerver all files are clean, that much i know, even kaspersky yells if a dirty apk gets downloaded, all other..i can only base on reviews etc, (they can be fake, but not 100+)

I think you should just clean install the ROM again, seems like a bit of issue u got here.
true,
which method would be the most simple and best to avoid the issue
-reset to factory-sys (unsure if it fixes a broken sys, instead of just deleting all userbased stuff)
-twrp clearing and the whole rom again (this method might work,if wiping everything is included)
-taking chinatool and start with h2o then back to the realdeal ota15 (thats what i did before,so iam not sure)
its not that i dont know the methods, its more like..i want your opinion what would be the best solution to avoid it.

Well first off I wouldn't mention lucky patcher again. It is a warez app and banned on XDA as are all mentions of the app. Also something to think about. App developers have been adding code that looks for lucky patcher and will not install if it is installed on the device. Some even cause the device to have random issues if it is installed. Heck I know one rom that removes it every time the user reboots their device.
As for the reviews. Dont put anything in the numbers. I can by 1000 downloads and 5 star reviews for about 50 bucks.
thanks for the reply
well the tool itself cant be made as "warez" since some of its functions are quite handy, like removing adds.
(whats completly legal, atleast in the EU)
about devs who enter code to sneakout other apps..no worries,
since you are in the op6 board,i assume you have one, go under apps, then tap the left border, and pull towards right, there is a secret stash, add all the fancy stuff you wanne hide there, and even google ,pokemon, fortnite run if the stuff is hidden there (of course magisk has to be set right too)
about the reviews true, but if some of those are quite names, that are known in android, linux or Minecraft business,i kinda trust them, and if that review isnt 1 day old,its fine, especially with comments like"7 weeks now,and it still works well,no flaws no hickups.." (example) makes me believe that this apps are worth the 0 bucks paid for.
iam not going to mention warez, but lucky is none of those, especially since several german speaking sides have mentioned it and praised it aswell (the big ones, with printed paper stuff),so i assume, eu rights, should fit in here aswell, (not that iam part of the EU,but swiss)

I don't care what other sites do or say. Lucky is banned here as a Warez app. Bottom line.
It is the ai gle most hated app on this site. People have been flamed just for having the icon on their screen.
So I'll tell you what most others will as well. You will find no help here as long as you have it installed. Until you remove it you are on your own.

Moderator note:
Lucky patcher is considered warez on xda and the discussion about it is prohibited. Yes, it does have legitimate uses, but as long as it also has illegitimate uses that cheat developers, it will remain classified as warez here.
Thanks!
speak about hornets nest,
well thanks for the clearification, there was clearly no ill intent or drama in mind.
but thats the confusion part, one of the most readed pc print magazins in the eu has on their webside guides about how to root, what rooted apps you should have, and has the mentioned one also, how could a normal person think of it as the whorst app arround.
are there more names not to mention? kinda like a list of "dont talk about,it just makes drama"
thanks again for clearing that up

There is a few. The easiest way is to search before asking. You know filling the rules you agreed to when you joined. Also any app that can bypass paying for an app/service is automatically banned (depending on the app)
As for the mag. Use your head and common sense. You never listen to what a reporter says about something like this. Or really anything for that matter. They just repeat what they hear. They have no real understanding of what is going on or the risks involved. I bet that magazine didn't mention that lucky patcher has a history of privacy violations and wares being installed in the background right?
hmm i think that wrighter knew exactly what he was going for, especially the anti-googlead part, well many europeans hate adds, and are able todo any and everything to get rid of them ,and in many nations are adblocker-blocker forbidden by law, means companies cant do a thing if you block adds and such a tool is fun from that side, noone mentions that is has other functions, until here mentioned, well the problem with such is, if people know tool X can block adds, they use it 100% for that, and dont touch other parts, until someone mention more functions, then it gets interesting..well until you learn the disappointment that the said functions are just for games.
why the hack would i play games on a phone? i have a tr1950 with fancy parts, for my gaminghabbits, that smartphone is a tool, not a nds or such.. i get the nonlegal part, but the sense of it is beyond me, whoever needs that shall buy a pc, *imo*

Ad blocking has nothing to do with it. XDA has many of them all over the site. Look you will never be able to justify its use here. So we will end this here. If you need help again dont mention the app other wise you might get far worse flamed next time.
