Connecting and receiving call of Android phone from Keypad phone. - General Questions and Answers

Hi friends I want to ask that is there any way ,so that we can connect the call of an Android mobile set means, if a person calls in My android phone I can receive call from a keypad phone since the network bands of Android phones are weaker as compared to a Keypad phone, in INDIA.
Note:I am not talking about diverting a call to another sim or mobile number
Is it possible to have 2 copies of sim ?? AFAIK it isn't, since call details can be obtained from accounts.
Is there any Application for this since a keypad phone will require a SIM for the network
There were cordless phones for a Telephone but they were for fixed permanent lines etc like that,tq

Touch pro Unable to make calls but can access internet?

Hi all,
I have an odd problem. It started when having lost my phone I asked my sim card provided to suspend my mobil number in case of theft. Thankfully I found it and asked my provider to remove the suspension. Now I apparently have no signal and I'm unable to make or recieve calls or messages, but I can surf the net? My phone was directly from htc via handtech and can use any sim from any supplier. I've tried my sim in an old phone and it works fine and I also have a pay as you go sim which I use to benefit from free calls between mobils an land lines on the same network. I've looked at all the setting and can't see anything obviously wrong.? Can anybody help please

[Q] Full Google Voice Features on Motorola Atrix on AT&T using Wireless Number

Phone: Motorola Atrix 4g
Carrier: AT&T
OS: Android 2.2 (soon to be 2.3!)
Problem: Can't use all Google Voice Features with Cell Number
I recently purchased the Motorola Atrix and so far I am very impressed with this phone. My friend has an Android phone with Sprint and he told me about Google Voice and how great it was for his phone. I short I WANT that with my phone. I understand the basic concept of how GV works and how Sprint has a "special" relationship with this service, but I still would like to try and make it work with my phone in a similar way.
Notes:
I do not have a separate GV Number.
I have installed the GV app and the voicemail functions work but SMS and call forwarding do not work.
My Questions:
1) If I port my cell number over to GV will everything work correctly (like Sprint...including SMS and Call Forwarding features)
2) If I do port my number over...how are my outgoing and incoming calls (that go to my cell phone) billed on ATT. Because calls get routed through Google do they still appear as Mobile to Mobile Calls? Are they all Land line calls from GV? Does the forwarding of the correct "Caller ID" information solve all of these problems?
3) Ideally I would like to avoid porting my number to Google, and work with settings on my phone or with ATT technicians to make my phone work like it would on the Sprint System. Basically I want to use all of the GV benefits without getting a separate GV number and without porting my Cell number to GV. Is this Possible? Has anyone done it?
Thanks to anyone who read this and has any information for me.
Cheers,
BW

3g tablet call problem(need help)

Hello dear members,
I got a 8inch 3g 5.1 lolipop, Intel sofia geniu 900mhz mali450mp tablet,
But i have a problem,
When i insert a simcard to my tablet and when i was try a call to my tablet from another a number, tablet is not no reaction,
Same status; call number screen and agent screen no on the tablet menus, but this tablet is a 3g tablet.
İ think i need a custom room for this addition (for make a call and send a SMS)
İ was tried nova launcher but it was couldnt be useful
It's most likely sim locked. You will need to unlock it. A rom will not do it.
Not sure why you think a launcher would help. It has nothing to do with those functions.

sirrah thank you very much for your answer ,
i can connect to ethernet with my 3g service (vodafone H+)(registered imei)
but i cant accept to calls because no accept screen and no call ringtone but im hearing to call voice from other phone (dııııt..... dııııt.....)
example: A=my tablet , B=normal phone
B making a call to A
B's screen normal (im hearing call ring)
A's screen no reaction, just waiting on menu screen
please help :crying:
Then I'm betting it doesn't have the programs to accept phone calls. It is a known trick used by many China based devices. They advertise calling but cant get licensed to make calls so it leaves the apps out.
Uhmm, so cant we make anythink?

Can I use a cellphone to route all calls and texts to/from two other phones?

I love cellphones. I often want to use one phone or another on a particular day, but I don't want to have to switch SIM cards each time.
Apparently it is not possible to get more than one SIM card with the same number, which would fix my problem.
Is there a way to do this: Have one cellphone with my public cellphone number sit in a charger, always on, routing all my calls and messages to my other phones?
These are the features I'm looking for:
Reliability (always get each call)
Good call quality
Ability to route MMS messages
All calls and messages appear to be from my public number, not the numbers on the phones I'm actually holding
I've tried a couple solutions in the past, like Google Voice (won't do MMS), Phoneleash (wasn't that reliable).
The "public" cellphone with my main number can be any OS, rooted/jailbroken or not.
Thanks for any help!

Calls and texts on phone while SIM is in modem

Is it possible for me to remove my SIM card from my phone, put it in a mobile WiFi hotspot device (huawei E5332), and still send and receive calls and texts to my phone number, using my phone?
I know that there are solutions for doing this through desktop operating systems. My phone also already has WiFi calling built in to it, but it requires the SIM card to be in the phone.
So what I'm looking for is some kind of app or ROM modification where an Android handset can send and receive calls and texts via the hotspot, using the phone number of the SIM in the hotspot. I'm not looking for a VOIP solution that would give me a different phone number, my phone is dual SIM anyway, so I could use my other SIM card for that.
Basically I want an app like modem partner for windows, or modem manager GUI for linux, but an android version of it. does it exist?
Cheers
