If it's still in warranty, go to the repair center and get a replacement. It's a hardware flaw from ASUS's side

I tried to flash on Android10 and the mobile radio power turn on , but my sim card is not recognized :/

The radio function turns off or it's on but no signal strength? If the latter and you have bent this device by accident, even by a little bit in your pocket or similar, it may have damaged the antenna lines that are delicate and routed around the soft plastic side frame of this device. I've had that happen...

Check if it's an IMEI issue or you might have had an error while flashing, hence causing the driver/firmware to break and not detect your SIM.

Nexus 5 overheating problem and No Signal

Hi Guys,
I have a problem with my Nexus 5 in that it overheats to around 70 degrees (got to 101 at one point!) Just by being on, even without using it. It even heats up when you check the battery when powered off (by pressing the power button once) only by a little bit.
I also have another problem, the phone can detect the SIM card and displays the number on the SIM, but it says no signal.
A third problem is that when the phone is locked and the screen is off, it randomly restarts. This doesn't happen when the phone is in use.
I would really appreciate if you guys could help me,
Thanks
1. What rom are you using? do you use a custom kernel?
2. try reflashing factory images.
3. remove simcard and enable aieplane mode. check if it reboots or lverhears
the round antena wires come loose afaik. i ordered a new set lf antenas and replaced them. phone is much cooler and i get better reception and battery life
I'm running the stock android 6.0.1 which I flashed.
It detects the SIM but doesn't get a signal,
I checked and the wires are not loose, maybe I will order the antenna wires as a last resort.
If anyone has any other suggestions, feel free to tell me

Is your GPS working? My Nexus5 have same issue as yours plus GPS is Dead too. After some search I found that the GSM chip is the same of GPS so I think the problem is the chip itself.

Connectivity issues after screen replacement

Hello !
We changed a screen on a P30, we transferred the old fingerprint to avoid malfunctions BUT now we have connectivity issues. :
- The WiFi works 1 day by a week... Mostly times when we try to connect we have an error "Access denied".
- GPS doesn't work, on Maps my localization is wrong.
- Bluetooth power on and then go off few seconds after.
We resetted the phone many times, we tried to flash the last full firmware directly on boot and OTG (DLOAD).
I'm pretty sure it's just a software issue and maybe the modem image is bad... What could we do now ?
Thank you for your help <3

We tried to transfer everything back to the old frame but using the new screen connected to the lcd connector and guess what ? Everything was working again ! But the LCD is really too hard to unmount from the new frame...
This sounds like you left the antenna cable loose or maybe it got damaged, did you check the antenna cable or replace with a new one?

Question Having problems with voice calls-voice dissapears-gets interrupted-sounds like "robot"

Model Name: Asus ROG 5 16GB 256 WHITE
Firmware Version: 18.0840.2106.86
Rooted or not: NOT
Frequency of Occurrence: Randomly during calls
Hi there...
Im having a problem with my phone which i have for less than 20 days.
During calls people tell me that my voice gets interrupted and that it sounds like a robot.
Problem happens during normal calls and even facebook messenger calls or Viber calls.
Happens randomly one time they can hear me normally and then suddently it gets interrupted with that "robot" like sound.
Problem was happening from the moment i got the device but thought i should wait and maybe a software update would solve it.Some days after i got it the current update came out and when i installed it problem appeared to not happen any more. But after some time people started telling me the same thing "voice interrupted" and robot voice again.
I have found another thread posted by someone else mentioning the same problem as mine and there are people that have the same thing but thread is closed.Link is below
Asus ROG 5 - Voice disappear during calls

What should i do,should i speak with asus? Will they repair the phone or replace it since there hasnt been many days since day of purchase and problem appeared from the start.
Thanks in advance
I would have returned the device.
Try running in safe mode to rule out 3rd party apps.
Clear system cache.
So what does the little man in the box say?
It could be an issue with the connection, but if it happens no matter how you connect, then it may be a hardware issue. A loose wire could easily cause that and the wiring on the internals is tiny.
happens in safe mode also
happens with messenger call -viber and normal calls .
Just tried the safe mode

Not many wires if any.
Lots of ribbon cables and micro connectors are likely.
A cracked solder joint, PCB trace or chipset defect.
Could also be firmware or software related.
A defective or blocked mic. There maybe be more than one and carefully hidden. Make sure the case, skin etc aren't blocking any mic ports!
Read about the quad mic system. Inspect each port for blockage.
Asus ROG Phone 5 review
It's hard to mistake a ROG Phone. And this is still true for the ROG Phone 5. Though with that said, four iterations in, its styling is very different...

phone has never never been dropped.
also all the mic ports are clear.i thought it has to do with how i hold the phone,i tried different ways but no,nothing works.
I have thought at start maybe it has to do with my carrier but it happens when im connected on wifi during messenger call or viber.
Everyone says something is wrong with my voice and they cant hear me at random points i sound like a robot

I am sure you knew it was a generalization, but Asus did release schematics. There is no need to guess.

It sounds like the only things left are a software (firmware, not user) or a hardware issue. Since the issue seems to be specific to your device, software seems extrememly unlikely. A blockage would muffle you, but is unlikely to give the robot effect (usually electronic interference).

would that be reason for a replacement??
Not repair, new device. i have the phone for 22 days and its been doing it from the start

They usually try to repair it, even though a replacement seems like it should be the obvious response. I completely agree that new devices should be exchanged, but that seems to be less and less common.

It's not using the effected portion of the phone when you did the recording.
Does it do it on bt calls?
Likely headed back for service or replacement...

If you really want to test if it is the microphone itself, you could try a headset (bluetooth, 3.5, or USB-C). If that solves it, then you at least know what is broken. It is still worth getting it fixed this early on.
thats what i thought
what you mean bt calls, connect bt earbuds and make a call??
ok i understand what you guys saying.
i will try these and report back
sad
Try a factory reset after checking for/installing any firmware updates.
If that doesn't get it I think you hit the end of the line for self troubleshooting.

LG Velvet-Service Disabled

I have a backup Verizon LG Velvet. I have the LG V60 as my main phone. With or without a sim the Velvet states "Service Disabled" and the bars have a small x next to them. I and Verizon have tried all the normal troubleshooting tips available.
Factory reset
Airplane mode on/off
Network reset and so on.
The sim works fine in other phones I tested so it's not the sim giving the issue.
Verizon tried on their end to get the phone to work but still kept getting the same service disabled. I'm down to thinking it's more a hardware issue than it is software. But not sure which internal module I should replace. The logic board or the lower PCB.
I even tried to lookup flashing the stock firmware to see if that helps via LGUP and LG Flash Tool. Neither I could get to work to achieve that goal.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could share an assist as to what is wrong or how to rectify the issue to the get the service to work on this phone. Anyone have any idea? Thanks.
Maybe the C port pcb. I know on Samsung phones one of the failure modes with the C port pcb is lose of internet and phone. It gets a lot of wear and tear. If it applies to this phone, don't know.
An experienced repair tech is probably your best shot...

They are generally inexpensive. Of course the elephant in the room is it could be the mobo instead... I hope it's the former.
It's also possible that the firmware was corrupted. A freak random hit by a high energy particle can do exactly that. A reflash of the stock rom be the next thing to try after the port pcb or maybe before depending on what you think.

Yes. The reflash was my first choice but couldn't find the right program to work with this phone and the right KDZ file I was having trouble finding. I kept getting errors with LGUP and Flash Tool.

I may have found my issue. I put the logic board under my scope and found some damage to the lower PCB like I thought and you mentioned. There is a "+" and "-" connectors above the charging port where the plate of the speaker connects to. The "+" connector is missing.
I ordered another charging port PCB and when that arrives, I will see if that fixes the issue and let you know.

So as it turns out, it wasn't just the lower pcb. Although it did need replacement as well. But it was the main pcb. So I ordered the main pcb from eBay for 60 dollars and the seller ended up sending me the entire phone in perfect condition and perfect working condition. LOL-go figure.

Go to system settings>display, see if you have a setting called "Accidental Touch Protection" and if it is enabled. That feature could be activating and then freezing the screen when you try to turn it back on.

Hi there! What was the answer or Solution by technicians? Did they solved the problem?
Hi all there! As I see this issue is the same that A52 has. It's a typical factory problem that could be solved charging the main flex. That's the definitive Solution !
I have the same problem with my A72 (A725f)XID
Any solutions
I tried downgrading it didn't help
Changing the screen of flex also doesn't help
So it's a software problem
But any solutions???
I have the same problem. It seems that all A72 series are affected by this problem. The flex cable appears to be problematic. Almost every Samsung product I purchased had issues. So, never again Samsung.
Sorry for late reply for all questions above. My A72 was not even a year old it was sended to numerous shops from Samsung to the cheap Pakistani shops and it is Un repairable they said that there might Me a chance to repair it if I replace the main board but to find one is very scarce and a new one is almost the price of a new device.
To me personally I will never get a Samsung again my next upgrade will be Huawei,Google pixel or a Xiaomi or anything else I do think that the better devices like Samsung galaxy S22,S21FE and Z fold won't have problems like the A72 or A52 or there was just a big bach of manufacturing that went wrong.
But do let me know if you guys got it fixed in any way maybe I can have a try to fix mine then but to replace part for part and hope that it will be fixed is a expensive route to go.
No just make sure your next samsung is from the European or North /South american market
Then you won't have no issues
I use The A53 & A52s 5G now & i don't have problems

I ordered a new main flat cable, and it was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but stupid NordPost in Norway did not deliver it in time. So, I must wait until Monday or Tuesday to get it. Basically, my phone has been opened and lying since Wednesday. I will update you, when I replace the cable. In any case, original main cable in Norway is very inexpensive. It cost me 110 nok or 11 euros.

You are lucky it is not expensive here in South Africa every thing is expensive if I take a guess it will be around R400, my phone acted actually weird because it started to have unresponsive screen restarted the device then will work for a few seconds then will have the same problem, sometimes my network signal will totally disappear and there will be two round sircles, sometimes when I charge my device it will show the phone is overheating even though the device was not even on for a while other times it will show the charging port is wet I can't think that the flex cable will cause all that problems
